The Loews New Orleans Hotel is very nice. The service from the front desk to the concierge to the staff in restaurant and bar, was outstanding. Very welcoming and helpful. Concierge Melissa was delightful and gets 5 stars for her exceptional service and restaurant recommendations -- 3 for 3 (Pesche, Balise and Domenica). Thank you to all for a wonderful stay!

I stayed here from June 2 to June 5 2016 and it was incredible. From the minute we pulled up the valets were very welcoming and made us feel important/special. Staff was incredibly attentive at the front desk and my room was comfortably furnished, posh, and most importantly very clean. My king size bed was incredibly comfortable and I had a great night sleep each night that I was there. The bar and restaurant were great with delicious food and accommodating wait staff. Everything was great- staff, room, hotel, pool, workout room. Only bummer was restaurant in lobby- only person at bar and one of 6 in entire restaurant yet took 35 minutes for a burger and fries, and while I waited, the waitress yammered loudly about all the earwigs she's been finding and killing, describing them in detail. Last thing on earth I want to think about while waiting for my lunch. Really obnoxious. But other than that, the hotel, staff, rooms and valets were all great. Highly recomme... Read more

hotel had four weddings and wedding parties going on so very busy. Parking is valet only and very expensive-about 47 dollars per night. You may want to look at nearby garages that are separate from hotel and may be cheaper. We had the World War Two Museum package deal which includes parking and museum visit. Worth pricing that on hotel website to maybe save some money. Warning that it is supposed to include ten per discount in museum shops but the museum and shop were clueless about the discount... Stayed here for a conference in July 2015 and the rooms were warm. I ended up checking out early and completed the hotels survey. The manager contacted me and offered me a free two day stay to compensate. I took him up on it this April. Wow! First of all first class service to have offered the stay! Secondly, the stay was wonderful and I will always be loyal to Loews as a result of this experience. I just wish they had more locations than they do! Thank you New Orleans Loews!!

I had an excellent business stay at the New Orleans Hotel from the time I pulled up in my car until I left.. All of the staff were exceptionally friendly and nice, but the Valet service was some of the best I've ever had. First they recommended taking a photo of the valet ticket. Great location, walking distance to the French Quarter. We walked everywhere during our 4 day trip, didn't have to use our car or an Uber. Everything was so clean! And we made great use of the pool and hot tub. It was a comforting thought to be able to use their fitness center if I wanted, but I ended up justifying all that walking as my daily cardio haha. We stayed for a mere 2 nights. In that two nights, we discovered previous guest leftover food in the refrigerator (after housekeeping cleaned); we did not get any clean towels on our second morning. We were walking around town for a couple of hours in the morning. Upon our return, our car was sitting at the valet near the front door. We had not called for our car at all. Nice area of town to stay in. We had our kids with us and didn't want to be right in the Quarter, but this allowed us to be close enough to walk to take a $6 uber.

The lap pool is adequate but we didn't use it. Their restaurant and bar are very good and elegant. Will stay there again.

We stay at the Loews every summer and find it very comfortable and in a good location, near the French Quarter and the Warehouse District. Every place else is a streetcar ride away, or a short taxi ride. Mothers Diner is across the street. We've eaten there twice in one day- it's that good. The hotel staff is always attentive and willing to accommodate all of our needs. We wouldn't consider staying anywhere else in New Orleans.

Not impressed at all. I have stayed in many, many hotels all over, including New Orleans and have never been charged a $75 per night damage deposit upfront (something they fail to mention on the website). I wouldn't be complaining about it if I had promptly received it back but I have yet to see it credited to my account as I was assured it would be. The hotel is in a central location. It is about a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. The hotel is located near the St. Charles Line street car. My only complaint was t... Read more

We stayed here for three nights on a recent visit with other family members who usually stay at his hotel. With so many choices for lodging in NOLO, Loew's offers an excellent location within walking distance to the French Quarter, yet not overcome with the noise, traffic and congestion. The rooms are nicely done, the staff is very accommodating, the prices are fair and we'll definitely stay again on our next visit.

Went to New Orleans with family and friends we booked 3 rooms there. The only reason we booked there was because one of my friends is confined to a wheel chair as he is a Vietnam Vet and the reviews showed that the Loews Hotel had the largest rooms in N.O so we figured my friend could maneuver better with a large room. The rooms were quite nice and roomy but room service and housekeeping was very insufficient. Each day housekeeping showed up did not replenish our towels and or face cloths and w... Read more

Average hotel that is dated in a good location. The room was clean but the ventilation unit was loud making it difficult to sleep. The overall value was not great. Breakfast was overpriced and marginal in quality.

Stayed here during a conference that was around the corner. Right next to several restaurants, although the hotel bar had pretty good food as well. Room was clean, quiet, and comfy. Thinking of staying here again during the same conference next year!

Enjoyed a spectacular weekend at the elegant and classy Loews Hotel in New Orleans. Room was very spacious and comfortable. All the staff from the front desk, dining room and front door staff were incredibly gracious making us feel very welcome. Pool was wonderful as well.

I almost gave 5. Overall everything was excellent. Room clean. Internet was decent. View nice. Staff very welcoming. Only reasons for 4 are somewhat petty as I think about it....Each of the 3 days I was there there was small piece of trash outside my door...never picked up or vacuumed. Also my bathroom was not completely cleaned each day...sometimes toilet was sometimes not. The other thing which is a personal thing...when the remote is on one side everyday, the person probably wants to k... Read more

I was in New Orleans for 3 nights for work. First time to the city. My room was huge and very clean - top floor! I didn't have too much free time, but Caroline (VIP Manager) helped me make the most of what free time I did have. As I've been told by friends who have stayed at the hotel before, she definitely has the recommendations (but be warned about the Hurricanes at Pat O's- they're dangerous). The food provided by the banquets team was excellent, as well. I can't wait to come back to visit (... Read more

Well located hotel midway between the convention center and French Quarter. Unusually large room with reasonable but not luxurious furnishings. Staff most helpful. Would definitely return in the future

This hotel is luxury, hip, trendy, all in one. Our only issue was our first rooms (we had 2 rooms) both had a strong mildew smell. But the front desk staff quickly switched us to different rooms. No hassle at all. Right across from Harrah's, close to Riverwalk Outlet, easy walk to French Quarter. I would stay here again and again.

Wonderful hotel, in walking distance to everything. Great staff that are interested in making your stay memorable. Harrahs casino is right across the street. the River Walk is also close by. Lots of great restaurants in the area. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. The bar was wonderful. Air conditioning in lobby was too cold. Rooms were good size but were somewhat old and in need of an upgrade. For a business traveler the power outlets were limited.

I was booked at Harrah's across the street and they managed to give my room away so I was put up here for the night. The mattress was very comfortable and the room was spacious. Had a decent view as well. I would say it's more of a business hotel than a family one as it had a more adult feel to it. I say give it a chance if you are in New Orleans.

Had a trip booked to Houston for the weekend for a show, but it was cancelled. Still had the time off, so decided to come to New Orleans. Booked the free parking and breakfast package. We always experience the best time at Loews New Orleans. Upon check in, we were upgraded to a corner suite. The view and the room were just beyond words. We have been coming to this hotel now about 3 or 4 times a year for several years. It always feels like home and the staff go out of their way to make you feel s... Read more

The Loews is a luxurious, modern, and clean. The room I stayed in was fantastic. It was considered a luxury room with a king bed, nice view of the city. Very spacious. Modern bath. Very clean, and great service. I would love to stay there again on my next trip to New Orleans.

I enjoyed the Southern hospitality and the room was a bonus perk! Everyone was friendly and helpful... I really appreciated the concern of helping before being asked. The hotel in right in the middle of all the action and close to famous landmarks...in walking distance.

Great hotel. Everything you need is close by so it's just a short walk to shopping, great dining and the French Quarter. The room had a great view of the Mississippi River and I really enjoyed having a Keurig coffee maker and small fridge in the room. Rooms are large and bathrooms much bigger than other hotels.

I so wanted to give this place 5, but we had a couple significant issues. First was that our room was not ready at 4pm check in. We were not alone as many people were waiting on rooms. This ended up causing quite a mess with our dinner plans and my wife was pissed she had to change clothes in the lobby bathroom. They did give us $25 to spend at the bar, which was nice. We came back around midnight and did end up in a nice room and were offered a late (2pm) checkout. The second issue was th... Read more

Overall, this stay was exceptional. It was nice to feel taken care of, without the staff being "in your face" all the time. I gave this a 4 for three reasons. First, the elevator stopped on the 13th floor and seemed to get stuck. Fortunately, it was stuck on the floor, so our group could get out. Second, the AV guy was always present (a good thing), but when our speakers got tripped up with starting their presentation, he had to go up to the podium to get things started again. This may see... I stayed here recently while attending a conference and had been at this hotel about 5 years ago. I got a high room once again, on the 16th floor, and had a very nice room of the city. The room was large with plenty of closet space but only three small drawers for clothing and other things; it also had enough electric outlets. The bathroom was fairly small but had enough counter space. The lobby staff were all very friendly and helpful, as they were in my previous visit. Although there are many ... Read more

I could not have asked for better service and hospitality from a Hotel food preparation and service group! Meals were delicious. The sleeping room was excellent. One thing that I noticed was that a water went missing from my room and I was not the consumer of the water. I was charged for it even though I explained to the service desk that I did not take or use the water.

We were guests here for Thanksgiving and were not prepared for all that was going on in the city! However, we fell in love with the Loews! We walked and ate and shopped and drank our way around for 3 days, and always were so happy to return back to smiling faces and a big welcome back! The Concierge people couldn't have been more knowledgeable and helpful and steered us right with every question!
