I really wanted to love this place! I'm pretty sure the photos shown are severely photo shopped. This place was filthy!! I expected the room to be small and authentic Nola style but what I didn't expect is rodents! Like mice and other droppings! The employees acted like you were putting them out if you asked for anything at all, like a new room or towels! It also had no water pressure. Showers were impossible and the toilet wouldn't flush. The keureg coffee machine had old moldy water in it. Sup... Read more

Staff was great. Ask them anything. Room was on the small size, but that was expected when you' re in a 250+ year old building. Bed was very comfortable. Room could use a chair. Coffee maker in room was a nice touch. Everyone else staying there seemed to be enjoying their stay as well.

The location of this hotel is amazing. It is far enough down on Bourbon to be quiet, but close enough to the action to be convenient. The staff was pleasant and the room was large and clean. The simplistic charm of this century's old property is exactly what I look for when visiting the quarter. It had some quirks like slow pluming and rickety stairs up to my room, but that was to be expected. It isn't the Four Seasons. I plan on staying at this property again.

The Inn on Ursulines is a nice little place in NOLA. We were within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. We were right around the corner from Bourbon St. and a 5 minute walk to Decatur St. and the French Market, and the river. When we come back, we will definitely stay here again. The room was clean. The bathroom was nice, clean, and large.

Cute cozy place! Very charming, very old building.Awesome customer service. When they saw our two children wouldn't fit in the room I had booked they upgraded us to a bigger room for no price increase. I would happily stay here again ! Parking was a little far away if you had to walk at night but not a bad walk. They didn't serve breakfast but there are so many cute breakfast places nearby that that didn't matter at all.

We stayed here for 3 nights, queen room #13 on the 1st floor was small but very comfortable. Location in French quarter was central to all the attractions, not more than 15 minutes walking to all the sites and Grayline coach terminal. Only place in the city we used a cab for was the Garden district, although a very historic streetcar ride there was also an option. Staff were helpful in suggesting sites and providing maps. Served our purpose perfectly as we needed a comfortable, convenient pl... Read more

Summer in New Orleans is hot and humid. On late night arrival for a two night stay, my ground level room was accessible only by ducking low under a low set of wooden beams. The room was hot, not warm. As in sweating-hot. The bathroom, whose outer wall was warmed by the line of A/C units outside, was sauna-hot. The front desk clerk did not appear surprised, and was entirely unsympathetic - held out no hope for improvement and offered no alternatives. The only bright side was that the sweltering... Read more

My husband and I wanted to stay in the French Quarter. We had visited New Orleans 16 years ago for only three days and we wanted to go back. The Inn on Ursulines was PERFECT! The property is approximately 300 years old but it has been beautifully restored without impacting the historical ambiance. The people in the front office are extremely helpful and kind. I got a great deal on this hotel from Expedia. The room was very nice and located right on the small courtyard with a hot tub located in the corner. The room was extremely clean. The air conditioning had a little to be desired, especially given how hot NOLA is. There are a couple of issues I would point out. Given that the hotel is located in the french quarter, there is no parking near the hotel. They do have a parking lot available for $20 and it's about a 10 minute walk away. Inconvenient, bu... Thought looked like quaint nice place. Cleanliness good. Would have been rated higher if room and bathroom cooler,. Heat Index over 100 days we were there. Problem with our room, air conditioner was under powered, could cool room, but there was no AC in Bathroom. Bathroom was 85-95 degrees, floor was hot. Water pressure weak in shower.. Parking about 5 blocks away, $20 a night, not too bad. Advantage is that by going there found some nice Jazz/Blues Bars close to the parking

Inn on Ursalines is a small guest-house style hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Just a few blocks from the French Market, it is a short walk from almost everything! The inn is between Royal and Bourbon Streets, two of the most happening streets in all of NOLA. When we booked, we were a little concerned that the noise from Bourbon would keep us up, but it is still a few blocks north of the real heavy party area of Bourbon Street. The room was really nice; the bed was so comfortable. The building is very historic. Our rooms were #1 and #2, which face Ursulines. Interestingly, the outside doors open to inside doors, so you either have no light (if the outside doors are closed) or no privacy (if the outside doors are open)! It was charming! The rooms facing the courtyard seem like they might have more privacy. We didn't feel unsafe at all, though I might not want those street-facing rooms during Mardi Gras!

The Inn on Ursulines is on the edge of the action of the French Quarter which is good and bad. Good because it is quiet and everything is pretty walkable. Only bad if you are looking to be in the thick of the action. Personally, for me, I would prefer a quiet hotel than a rowdy one, so this place was perfect for me. The rooms were beautiful. Perfect location. Walked to everything we wanted to see. The staff was incredible. Our first real alone time since we we're prenant with our 8 yr old daughter! My wife fell in love instantly! Daddys back in the rocking chair!

Travel back in time to the 1700s when you stay here. This landmark building was owned by nuns, then Marie Laveau. The staff were very helpful when we arrived in the morning and let us stow our luggage before the room was ready. JuJu at the front desk called me after brunch at the Court of the Two Sisters when I was visiting the exhibits at the Historic Collection of N.O. around the corner on Royal, to tell me my room was ready. Although the building is old, the rooms inside have polished new wo... Read more

Room had no windows, security to the room horrible and the hot water issue was horrendous! The location in the French quarter was good and the staff were friendly. Would not recommend. Am sure that there are many more Inns, etc that cost about the same that would have been much better.

The Inn on Ursulines was wonderful! It is directly between Royal and Bourbon St. Only 3 blocks from Decatur. This is a small 15 rm hotel. The staff was very friendly and the hotel very quiet. Our room had 14 ft ceilings and a super comfortable bed. Bathroom was small but doable. The rooms open into a small but private courtyard. The Inn on Ursulines will be my top choice of places to stay.

Only 3 bummers: I don't think the room's heater worked, no elevator (3 floors), and the front rooms could get a little loud at night due to tours walking by and those walking to/from Bourbon St. Overall, I would still recommend this place due to nice staff, good spot in the French Quarter with decent prices.

The hotel staff were super nice and welcoming. The room including bathroom were both very clean. Everything was of walking distance from the hotel making it super easy to stop by the room and change or just relax before heading back out. We definetly plan on coming back.

The room was quirky but had a lot of fun in it. Courtyard was great as we met a number of Canadians. The only issue was hot tub to hot and no one to figures out how to adjust heat. The simple amenities were worked out when I was in need of a bottle opener.

They were able to accommodate us last minute which was wonderful. After dealing with the nightmare of booking with a third party I would reccomend calling the Hotel directly, it was Much cheaper !!!!!

My daughter and I stayed here 3 days around the end of November and we really liked it. Quiet and clean. It was in a historic building and it showed a bit but it's part of the charm of New Orleans. Helpful staff
