We LOVED our stay! The concierge and doormen were all extremely helpful and welcoming, and very knowledgable of the area. Upon arriving, we were given a map and given an impromptu 'tour' of the city, along with markings on the map for fun musical venues and restaurants. Our room was very clean, and much fancier than we were expecting for such a reasonable price. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel for any future visits to the Big Easy!

The Royal Hotel was the ambience I was after. I would recommend paying the extra money for a Courtyard or Balcony room. We stayed in a deluxe room which was extremely small. The staff were very attentive and helpful. Only complaint was our guest next door, which should not effect our rating.

Facts. The hotel is not updated anywhere at all. Floors are on 40 degree angles including the balcony, you could literally roll off it. Balcony doors dont close properly and dont lock everything is out of alignment and in need of repair or replacement. Bathroom was updated somewhat with tiles. Breakfast is just some rolls and muffins and coffee. Have fun.

Great location, clean room, nice lil breakfast and wonderful employees. They held our bags before check in and after check out because we had a late flight. Everyone was friendly and lots of places to eat. The weather was high 70's. I would definitely go back to this hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff all the way from check in to check out. We booked a last minute 3 day weekend, got in about 3am and staff was extremely helpful and friendly (luggage, road bikes, and parking adding to the late night complications). Location is perfect, place is clean and modern. Would stay again.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff is great. The only thing is there are a lot of stairs so make sure you ask for a low floor if you have a problem with too many step stairs.

I have to say that the hotel was beautiful.. No elevator and we were on the third fl and the breakfast was next to the bathroom, (which I thought was weird) but over all the experience was great. The whirlpool bath was exhilarating, the stand up shower was beautiful and the bed... Amazing. It is in the ppppeeerrrfect location, I was able to walk everywhere and not be exhausted. Over all GREAT experience

Maison Dupuy was the best. We had meetings onsite, our rooms were great, the restaurant was delicious. The French Quarter feel was there, we enjoyed sitting by the pool sipping on our drinks. Parking easy and safe, I want to go back again really soon.
