Charming Center Court yard area and pleasant staff make this a Go-To hotel in a perfect French Quarter location - a block off the craziness of Bourbon St. We had a wonderfully quiet room on the third floor opposite far side of the court yard making it away from the busy street of Bienville. The room was nicely decorated and clean. The standard breakfast was okay - being a buffet of the usual scrambled eggs + bacon/sausage + cereal/yogurt. You could pay extra and special order from the kitchen. I... Read more

I learned about Hotel Mazarin when my son asked me to hold his Rehearsal Dinner there. The more I worked with their Events and Catering team, the more impressed I was, and since I was looking for accommodations away from the rest of the friends/family during the long wedding weekend (who needs the extra drama?!), it seemed like a good alternative--very close to everyone else and easy to coordinate the sit-down dinner for 90. The entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the rooms and ... Read more

Very professional throughout. They even called us on our cell to tell us that the room was ready; a nice touch. Clean and well appointed comfortable rooms. Good A/C. We were on the 5th floor and faced the lovely courtyard. Considering the proximity to the chaos on Bourbon St. it was amazingly quiet and calm. Breakfast was great, with variety and quality; eat in or in the courtyard. Attentive service to any request. The concierge knew her stuff. Good free Wifi, too. Overall a great job

Wonderful hotel. Excellent service. The breakfast is amazing. I'd go back just for the breakfast. It's close to Bourbon street but not super loud at night. Definitely spring for the premium room, you'll appreciate the extra space. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

We chose hotel Mazarin for our destination wedding venue. We needed to go to New Orleans to do some planning and decided to stay at our wedding hotel to check it out... Everyone was so nice and hospitable! The rooms are luxurious, location is perfect, and to top it off the breakfast is included and delicious! We are so happy with our choice of hotel Mazarin for our wedding venue and know our guests will be too!

Excellent, despite noise in our particular room. Could hear horns honking all night and continuous guest noise. Used towel to stop closet doors from constant rattle. Metal vent cover rattled all night..pushed chaise against it to stop rattle. Ice maker outside of our door was loud all night. A soothing, humming A/C unit would help muffle noise like in other hotels. Otherwise, a lovely stay. Comfortable bed and bedding with nice linens and amenities. Very clean and hotel is well kept. Stayed the week of June 14-19. We requested a room on the quiet side and we received room 511 on the 5th floor next to stairwell. It was perfect, quiet and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The stairs made it easy to grab coffee at 6am if you are an early riser and the stairs were my morning exercise... The replenished water and free breakfast were very much welcomed. The food served at the wedding reception was awesome. And, the wedding in the courtyard was spectacular! We also spent a little time in Bar Vin. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff was friendly and helpful. I look forward to staying at Hotel Mazarin again!

I was traveling with my daughter. I had not been to New Orleans since 2000. I was disappointed to see how filthy the French Quarter was. My daughter was propositioned several times. I would not recommend staying in the French Quarter. The hotel was clean and lovely, this rating is purely for the location. Our room was very musty but well adorned.

I had a wonderful time at the Hotel Mazarin. All the staff were very helpful and the complimentary breakfast was great also. The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was comfortable with plush pillows. Security to the hotel in the evening is important to staff and you are checked in with your key by security after hours. I had a lovely view over the court yard with a fountain. I stayed one night at the Marazin, the location is great for tourists. The hotel was clean and the staff were friendly, the only problem I had was the walls were very thin so we were woken up around 6am to people using their bathrooms or talking. The free breakfast is very simple. Don't expect anything special. Apart from that I would say it was a great location to stay.

We stayed for five nights, and it was wonderful. The staff was courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable about the area. Our room was clean and cozy, and the bed was awesome to sink into at the end of a day of sightseeing. Great location in the French Quarter. Full breakfast served until 11 a.m. (noon on the weekend!) allowed us to get by on just one restaurant meal each day. Definitely would stay here again.

I don't think I got the right room type and I know I overpaid for it since it was available to book the same night for half the price I paid. On top of that the cleaning staff were insistent about cleaning at 7 am, when we were sleeping. They wouldn't come back after that and the room wasn't cleaned during our stay.

This was my second stay at hotel Mazarin and it was nothing but perfect. This time we had four rooms for four couples. From the time we made our reservation to the moment we checked out, the experience was very pleasant. The location in the French Quarter is very convenient, prices are competitive, and the hotel itself is clean, well cared for, and very quaint. The staff is very friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This will be where we come back to when we visit NOLA.

Great hotel tucked in the French Quarter. It is a little pricey but no more than any other hotel in the area. Hotel Mazarin stands out with the quality of the grounds, rooms, and staff. All are top notch. I talked to several people that have stayed before and they all agree it is one of the best hotel breakfasts in the French Quarter, nothing exotic or special, just excellent quality and tasty food with one of the best places to eat that breakfast in the beautiful courtyard.
