The room didn't get cleaned one day until 5 pm and 2 calls, which was annoying.
The room was a little tight for 4 adults but would have been perfect for 2.
Overall we liked it very much and would return."

"Had a very pretty room. It had a great shower and really pretty salt water pool. Breakfast was okay, but we also got vouchers to Court of Two Sisters Jazz Brunch-- which was AWESOME! I loved the fact that we could walk to anything and yet you couldn't hear Bourbon St even though it was only the next block down! The only thing I didn't like was the cost of the valet parking. Everything else was great!"

"This was our third trip to the French Quarter. In our search for new accommodations we came across Hotel Le Marais and we're so glad we did!

The hotel is fresh and modern with a central location in the heart of the French Quarter. All we asked for in a room was present from a very clean room, to comfortable bedding, plenty of linens/towels, and even free bottles of water. I realize these may be found in many hotels, but if you add to that the incredibly warm, friendly staff who were always ready to serve in any way possible, then you've gone up the scale. Everyone from the hotel manager, the wonderful front desk employees, bartender, and housekeeping were professional yet personable.

The only reason I did not give this the highest rating was because our room was directly across from the elevator. Early morning revelers still partying on the way to their rooms waking you up at 3:30AM didn't make for the best of circumstances, but when you're in NOLA, you tend to expect things like this. The next time we book our stay here (and we will plan to stay at the Hotel Le Marais again) we'll ask for a room away from the elevator. That would make it perfect."

"The location is excellent. The look and cleanliness were also very good. However, we did have several issues with our stay at the Le Marais. nnFirst, the vouchers that were included with our stay were nothing but trouble. We had purchased breakfast vouchers and were also to receive $50 dinner voucher to a restaurant a couple blocks away with our 3 night stay. We spent hours on the phone and with the staff at Le Marais. Ended up being resolved too late to use in the case of the brunch and the dinner vouchers ended up being refunded. nnSecond, the water pressure was horrible. Like 10 minutes to rinse your hair horrible. After calling down to front desk and explaining the situation and asking if this was the norm or possible issue, the desk clerk gave me a one word answer 'Yes.' and hung up. nnThe next day, we spoke to other stayers and found out they all had fine water pressure. So we went to the front desk, were told about some water problem in the streets. (Untrue). On the 3rd day, after speaking to some more guests, we went and complained again, and they handed us a key to go check out another room ourselves. (Really?) So we did, the water pressure was fine. We then had to move ourselves to the new room. nnThe TV in the bedroom was unwatchable because a loud buzz sound and snowy picture would pop up ever 3-8 seconds. The front desk said it was hotel wide and a problem with the local cable. nnThere was a fist fight in the courtyard one evening which ruined the mood. While it was not the hotels fault a fight occurred, it does question the security when the culprit was not even a guest of the hotel. nnDespite our problems, we were never offered any compensation or apologies from the front desk. I probably had 3-4 hours in nonsense over several days trying to get them figured out. The man running the front desk was incompetent and unprofessional. 'Broke his neck' to get a look at the ladies while we were in mid-conversation several times, while nodding up and down. Very creepy.nnFor all our inconveniences, I felt some sort of compensation was in order. But it was not. With better management, this place could be a gem."

"I love the city of New Orleans with its rich history and culture and unparalleled music scene. The hotel was perfectly situated about half a block off of Bourbon St. It is in the heart of the French Quarter and it is walking distance to Frenchmen St., Canal St., Armstrong Park, the Riverwalk and the casino, so no matter what your reasons are for visiting the city, you are never far away from a point of interest. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and the hotel had an inviting bar and cool courtyard with a pool where it was nice to relax and unwind from daily excursions or the craziness that inhabits Bourbon St. There was also a really functional exercise room that surpassed most comparable rooms that I've seen at hotels. The room was clean, modern and very comfortable. It is a boutique hotel so there was no in room checkout service or on-demand service for entertainment in the rooms, but since there is so much to do in the city, that's hardly a concern. There is no restaurant in the hotel, but great food is literally right next door at any number of restaurants in the area that open early and stay open late. We will be back!"

"very nice boutique hotel. considering it being so new, i wouldn't expect anything less than clean and modern from the facilities. the room was a bit small but sufficient, especially since i hardly spent anytime there but to sleep and shower. great location, bourbon st. is right around the corner, but could get loud, especially if your room faces the street. having a full american breakfast was a plus! as well as the complimentary drinks at arrival. the staff can use a course in customer service though. not that anyone was rude in particular, but can't say they were friendly and helpful. i got a great rate for the hotel, otherwise would have stayed somewhere else."

"perfect location in the french quarter between bourbon and royal but near canal boats and downtown casino/shopping. heated saltwater pool was a nice way to cool down after a long day of sightseeing, but it's small so don't expect to do laps. breakfast was good for ta short stay. long stays may need more fruits and variety. rooms were newly renovated w/ flat screen tv that felt like imax minus the surround sound. we used the business center which was more than adequately equipped. overall a nice small boutique hotel if you like modern new feel. we recommend!"
