Frankly, I almost feel disloyal sharing this review, both after reading the two former reviews, and based on my experiences at this hotel prior to this one. My daughter, granddaughter and I stayed during the Christmas holiday, had a nice suite, which would have been nicer with a mini fridge. It was also obvious the property was short-staffed: Bartender had to abandon his post to run meals up to guests and front desk area was sometimes empty. We returned one night to find our beds partially made,... Read more

I booked rooms for the Christmas holidays to surprise my parents and the staff was so amazing. The manager Bob went above and beyond to make this a truly special stay. The rooms were really beautiful, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the location is great! Just a couple minutes from all the activity downtown. We have a truly amazing time, I would recommend this hotel to anyone. AND it's on the parade route for Mardi Gras! I'd definitely stay here again and again!

I needed additional guest accommodations (we live nearby), and got a great rate for December 22-23. The room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. The bath was huge and nicely planned, with a frosted glass wall to hide the toilet and a big walk-in shower. I'd definitely book it again.

I stayed here a couple of years ago and liked it so much I decided to stay again. It was as i remembered except it's showing lack of care. One chair looked like a cat attacked it. There was dirt on the bedding which I cleaned off with wet towel and soap. THe shower floor had significant black mold which I attempted to clean. A little bit of bleach would go a long way here. Besides this can't beat the location. They need to have fresh coffee available downstairs. It would be great to hav... Read more

As many people have already mentioned, the location of this hotel is ideal for those who prefer a less adventurous stay in N.O. The rooms are comfortable and the amenities are very nice. Being and bathroom were both particularly above average. Restaurant and room service were both good. Will be coming back.

My 10 year old son and I stayed in the Garden District at the Hotel Indigo. We had a great experience! The staff was friendly and helpful. We ate breakfast in the restaurant each morning and my son loved the crepes he was served daily. Our room was extremely nice, as well. The trolley stop was in front of the hotel, so we were able to take the trolley to the French Quarter, etc. which made exploring New Orleans very convenient. Being a single mom and traveling with my son, I have to take safety ... Read more

The location is great, you can pick up a jazzy pass for the trolley at the Walgreens for cheap and ride right to Canal St. avoiding driving or parking. Having a refrigerator in the room would have been nice. Rooms were clean though and the hotel was very accommodating to my 91 year old mother and our request for an early check in and adjoining rooms. We were very close to great shopping and eating on St. Charles and on Magazine Streets.

Had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect - we were able to walk up St Charles and over to the Magazine district, which we loved. The hotel is very centrally located with the street car running right by. We were able to Uber easily every where we wanted to go, or walk. The hotel is very comfortable, our room was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bar and restaurant were great - very comfortable and easy to hang out in. We were treated great and will definitely stay here a... Read more

Was out at this hotel for a weekend, the room was ok as the way size goes, but for a presumably 2 person room/king there was only one chair outside of the rolling office chair. This made watching anything on the TV awkward for my wife and I. Also, room 708 (I think, could have been 807), the shower leaks, and creates a huge puddle at the doorway to the bathroom. All in all, this was a decent place to put our stuff while we were in the Quarter. The one thing that really made the whole trip worse,... Read more

This hotel is in a great location and has a wonderful staff. Everyon is super nice. I want to give a special shout out to Sam, at the front desk. I explained, that I had food allergies, and he ad a microwave sent to our room,as well as a mini fridge so I coud prepare breakfast. When we aske for healthy food, he found us a fantastic vegen place to eat at. He was a great sourse of help. The tolley is right there, so we could go to the zoo. All in all a great stay.
