First the good....excellent location, Concierges Alan and Darren were great helps, all the front desk staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The room was clean but I had a cell phone charger stolen from my room and there was no one in there exempt me and a housekeeper!!! I locked my "valuables" in the safe but never thought it would be necessary to lock up my charger!!!! I reported it when it happened but the issue was unresolved. The nice woman (sorry the name escapes me) at the front desk... Read more

The only downside was the carpets in the hallways is very worn. Everything else about this place from the rooms to the staff to the location was fantastic. This was not our first visit, nor will it be the last. We like the location just a block off Bourbon (which makes it convenient, but keeps the noise down). The room was spacious. Our travel agent arranged for us to get a King Room With Balcony. We got a large corner room with three windows and TWO balconies. It was a great place for people ... Read more

My first impression when I walked in the room was that this is an old, worn out dump. The first thing I saw was the black paint peeling off the furniture exposing the bare wood and the broken outlet plate laying on the floor. Then later I thought I heard that this whole place was remodeled about a year ago. We later discovered that the bathroom exhaust was either not running or very undersized. I put a piece of toilet paper on the grille and not even enough suction to hold it there. So when you ... Read more

I've been staying at the Lemoyne for years, this was my first stay since its remodel. The hotel is newly remodeled bringing it up to date with some basic modern amenities. Having 4 USB ports for modern electronics is really a nice thing. The updated rooms are nice giving you that small modern boutique hotel feel. Think dark wood and slate grey color scheme. The hotel has a nice courtyard with a small pool which is a great place to relax or do some light work. I have always had nice service from ... Read more

We stayed for almost a week in mid to late May. A very pleasant woman checked us in. Recognized me as an IHG Platinum member. We were upgraded from the standard room to a Creole Suite King. Room 207. The concierge seems to also be in charge of stored bags. Room wasn't yet ready as it was 11:30am. So we went exploring. Got a text about an hour later that the room was ready. The lobby is pretty small. There is an RF'S restaurant around the backside of the 2 elevators. Breakfast is served as... Read more

We stayed here last year and had a nice time. We stayed this year and was not impressed at all. They ask if we were staying for a special reason and my husband said it was our anniversary. We went to check in and we did not get a room with a balcony, they never mentioned our anniversary, and they were not very polite. The hotel is in a good location, close to the action of the French quarter. The room was a decent size but it was impossible to shower without flooding the bathroom floor. You are within a couple blocks from all of the action but far enough away that when and if you decide to go to bed you didn't hear all the action. Parking was $37 but was in a secure fenced in area. All staff was friendly and helpful. The bed and room was very comfortable. Pool and cabanas looked nice but rain and the action prevented us from enjoying it.

The hotel was great. My wife and I were in town with friends for the weekend and stayed at separate hotels for two nights then moved to the Chateau Lemoyne. It is a very quaint boutique hotel. Here, price is king. This is one of the better values in the Quarter, with reasonable rates in an otherwise unreasonably-priced area. Some highlights: Location is one block from Bourbon Street. Outdoor pool open 10-10. Super, ridiculously friendly staff. Some low, low, lowlights: The wifi here is crazy slow. I'm wondering if they have a 56K modem... Fabulous hotel, under a few renovations. Reno's did not affect our stay at all. Staff and workers were polite, very accommodating and pleasant! The hotel is in a very good location, near Bourbon St, close for walking, but very quiet for resting and relaxing. Clean rooms and comfortable beds were as expected, but unfortunately the weather did not cooperate and the pool was too cold for swimming... All in all, a wonderful place to stay.
