Hotel was clean, staff is friendly. Price is a little high. Restaurant is so-so. Food wasn't great and there's no ambiance. Also if you want high speed internet, you have to pay for it, which really sucks in 2016.

We visited this hotel, only for 1 day, for a family wedding. The whole wedding party and any out of towners stayed here for the room block. Early check in was allowed via phone while we were driving in, so that was very nice. Also, anytime we requested something, like a pack n play, extra towels, etc., I was pleasantly surprised that we received them all so quickly, especially considering how busy the hotel was this particular weekend. My only complaint, which should be taken with a grain of sal... Read more

Stayed for 5 nights for a convention. Booked the hotel for its location to the convention center. It was still a fairly long walk to the convention center. I think other hotels are just as conveniently located. The hotel was nothing special. Room service was good but very pricey. Executive level was nice but not worth the extra money. I would most likely would not stay here again unless the price was discounted. At check-in, the woman at the front desk told me that she hated New Orleans.

Suited for conventions, decent location, but overpriced. Unless you're a special Hilton Honors member you have to pay extra for internet and fitness facilities, which is unbelievable. This is the first time I've come across that with a Hilton location.

Im Ebony and I was just at the Hilton Riverside in New Orleans for a 1 week AFTE conference from the 28th of May to 3rd June 2016. My room was number 747 and it was great. I left at 3 a.m. on 4th June and upon reaching the airport i realized I had accidentally left my passport in the room safe. I called the hotel and explained my situation and not only the young lady (sadly I can't remember her name) send someone to find it but also had her manager drive over to the airport and bring it to me. ... Hotel is consistently good. Unlike some other properties, they don't tend to upgrade me until I ask for it. The Executive Lounge provides one of the best views in all of New Orleans. Rooms are consistently clean and it's in close walking distance to all of the major attractions in the French Quarter. There is also a trolley stop right outside the door.

I stayed here to attend a conference and received a conference rate. They wouldn't extend the rate two additional nights (though they did for other attendees) so I had to split my stay in New Orleans over two hotels. I'm glad I did because I felt the conference rate was high - let alone the additional $100 it would have cost per night without it. The staff is very friendly and will greet you in passing - say good morning, etc. They are also very helpful when you need assistance. The common are... Read more

Amazing location we were able to walk to literally everything. It was very convenient to have all of our convention in our hotel but then also be able to go out and experience all that New Orleans had to offer in the evenings.

Clean efficient comfortable, and convenient to all attractions and points of interest. Excellent staff and caring service. Adjoined to a great shopping mall and food court. An overall excellent choice for your visit to New Orleans for business and/or pleasure.

The hotel was good, but disappointed with the fee to order room service. Almost half the price of the meal, ridiculous!!! If that was fixed, it would be a good rate. Otherwise, the room was a good deal with easy access to city.

Great "Hilton" experience. Property is clean and fresh. Staff is well trained, hospitable and courteous. Any issues are addressed immediately and sorted out. Location of hotel is excellent - near shopping and NOLA sights and sounds. Would definetely recommend this property and return.

This hotel is very much convention/business oriented and is usually quite busy with various large groups booked through out the year. On site dining is available and other dining options are within a few minute walk. The French Quarter is also just a few blocks away. Arrival/Check-in (7/22/2016): Parking is self or valet... The property is clean and well maintained. Location is across the street from Harrah's casino and near the Aquarium. We had booked through a third party on the internet and there was a problem with our reservation. The mistake was their fault, but Brandon at the registration desk went above and beyond to help us.
