Visited with a friend who had a bad cold and got a bout of vertigo. Staff was very accommodating in getting us into a room well before check in time and showed a lot of care and concern for her well being. She as much better the next day and the staff who had assisted were very kind when we saw them and seemed genuinely concerned about how she was doing. Accommodations were fine and it was a very short walk to the French quarter.

Good Afternoon, I would like to compliment Mr. Jerome Sadler of the Hilton Garden Inn French Quarter/CBD. Mr. Sadler was exceptional as an ambassador to New Orleans and also to the Hilton Hotel we stayed at while in New Orleans. Mr. Sadler was the kindest, most informative gentlemen I have ever met. I would like for your Management team to know and acknowledge such a great employee! Thank you for an opportunity to express my gratitude. Andrea Florentine Postmaster Leetsdale PA 15056

Our overall trip to New Orleans was great. Overall hotel was acceptable, not the best location. Lobby on 11th floor was also a little different but I guess keeps some security/privacy from the street for lobby (not for guests arriving or leaving hotel). My bed was a major disappointment / in need of replacement. Too bad, have always had great experiences with Hilton chains.

Lovely hotel with an amazing rooftop pool in a great location on the CBD side of Canal. 10 minute walk from Bourbon and the Hop on Hop off tour...minutes from everything. Customer service was outstanding on all levels. I travel extensively with work so I must say that my expectations are often higher than casual travelers. The breakfast was exceptional. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained, beds were very comfortable and everything worked well including the TV, safe, refrigerator and so on. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and focused on the guests. Downside is that there are additional costs for parking (but it is New Orleans) and the pool is small but it is a short walk from all of the action on Canal and Bourbon streets and in a great location.

So as others have said this is a nice HIlton Garden Inn with the lobby on the 11th Floor and the rooms above. There is construction around the hotel so some rooms are noisy (I had to move to an interior room). Staff was fine and helpful, rooftop very nice though pool is tiny but nice views. I got a good deal on the room so I was pleased but not sure if I would have felt the same if I had paid more. The location while walking distance to many of the attractions was kind of limited. Forgot his name but I'm sure he's been there for years because he's good. Gave us directions on what to do and the best ways to get there. A work colleague recommended this hotel for the location, and they were certainly right about that. It wasn't cheap at AU$400 per night, and so I was disappointed to be put into a room that overlooked walls of windows at close range. Not a glimpse of view or even sky. After a long international flight, I was looking forward to a shower and washing my hair (I had travelled with carry-on only and did not bring my own). We also met Gregory who was a server at the restaurant in the lobby who was awesome! He took special care of our 7 year old daughter! The room was great and the pool on the 18th floor were fun!
