Poor, poor service from disinterested staff. Property is average HGI. Staff far below average. With the exception of an engineer who responded to a problem with a door (response: "it's New Orleans") nobody cared. They frequently didn't even pick up the phone on the "guest services line." No maid service 1 day out of 4, no towels 2 out of 4, no security to quiet down partners, parking valets seemed stoned, when we asked for directions they'd say "I'm not from around here" and wouldn't make any ef... Walking distance to convention center is the best about this hotel. Housekeeper ate a bar of chocholate in my room and left it there. Check out was smooth and taxi was in front of the hotel all the time.

Average at best. The valet guys always greeted me pleasantly and the maintenance guys got me in my room quickly when I got locked out. The front desk person did not have a good personality and was very abrupt to the customer preceding me. The housekeeper did not clean regularly and could not speak English. Not good quality for a Hilton.

The hotel is within walking distance of the main tourist attractions and places to eat. There are quite a number of top notch restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel too so you will not be disappointed if you prefer not to walk or take a cab. On the down side this is the first HGI that I have stayed in where I was asked by staff to pay for extra K cups for the coffee machine. Poor show I think. Overall a very pleasant stay.

This is about a mile walk from the French Quarter. It is about a half mile+ or so to any 3 of the trolley lines. A few block away are many art galleries to view. Most small but interesting. Our room had a refrigerator. The room was clean. There is an outdoor pool. I did not visit it but I could see it from my room. The staff was very helpful. You can valet park ($39/day) or self park less than half a block from the hotel in a parking deck. (~ $25/day)

Our room (and the hotel) was very clean, housekeeping and maintenance staff took care of our needs in a timely manner. The hot tub did not work but the pool was clean. The hotel needs to re-think the cost of the breakfast buffet (although, the food was good.) It is $12.95 regardless of your age. My 6 year-old was charged the same as my husband for a glass of milk and a muffin (found this out when we got our bill and questioned it.) Valet parking is a mess at this hotel. Since I stayed here two years ago, it seems that the property is not as well maintained. The room looked as if it needed a face-lift, as it is showing signs of wear. Also, even after housekeeping serviced the room, I noticed the same piece of trash on the floor in the area between the two beds. I do not think the area had been cleaned. That being said, as a Hilton Honors member, I was most disappointed in the valet service and the front desk response to slow service. With a large group at the ... Read more

Fantastic location if attending a convention. Also near to the WW2 museum and the Riverfront Outlet mall. Check out Cochon bucherie for lunch/dinner. Basic breakfast options in hotel which can become repetitive if you're staying for an extended period. Otherwise, a good hotel if you're attending a conference at the convention centre.

The beds are terrible. The hotel is overused due to its location to the convention center. The hotel needs to be upgraded and remodeled. The front door staff will try to valet park you whether you like it or not. The overnight charge for parking is $40. Right down the street at a parking garage the overnight charge is $10.

Excellent hotel for the value. You can walk to most sites and offers food and parking. Hotel was very quiet and the room remains dark for a late morning sleep. Overall, I recommend this hotel for all purposes.

Walking distance to French Quarter. Polite staff. Breakfast Buffet sort of expensive but assortment of items was vast. Check-in and out process could be faster. Good for a restful night unless you are on the side of the Generations Club. Live Bands can be pretty noisy.

I have stayed at this hotel with a colleague 3 times on business now and am very happy with it very time. A nice touch is that they put 3 pillows on each bed and each pillow is different. That way, you'll have whatever kind of pillow you like! It's a great location for the Convention Center and for the Fulton Street Garage.

Nice hotel located in the Warehouse district, about a 15-20 minute walk to Bourbon St. and the popular touristy areas. We walked almost everywhere we went, but the streetcar is located close by as well. There are some cool bars and restaurants in the vicinity, and it's pretty quiet at night since you're away from the Bourbon St. craziness. The French quarter and other entertainment is within walking distance, but only during nice cool weather.

We stayed in this location to be close to the fireworks at the waterfront. We enjoyed the pool, comfy beds and wonderful A/C. It was so hot that week. We were always happy to walk in to the super cool hotel after a day of sightseeing. Hotel was great! Very clean and well maintained. You are not in the heart of all that NOLA has to offer but if you don't mind travelling a few minutes you will be right there. There is some amazing spots to get food right close by. If you are looking for a great deli try the butcher! Like every other hotel in downtown expect to pay $40 on top of your bill for parking each night. There was a less expensive option for parking just down the street. Overall not a bad pic.

This is your average Hilton hotel. Unless your need to be with in walking distance you might want to look for a hotel that has better parking. The valet was a nightmare.
