It is also only a 20 minute walk from the French Quarter, a 10 minute walk from the St. Charles streetcar, and a 5 minute walk from the Riverfront streetcar. Renovations to the front lobby just started so things are very much under construction at the moment. This is a perfect place to stay in New Orleans for almost anyone. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the staff is friendly and polite, and they serve a very nice complimentary breakfast in the lobby. In addition, it was a very nice touch that they gave us a buy one get one free ticket for their bar when we checked in, but I think the maid threw ours away by mistake. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful! When we booked, we were only able to book a king suite. The gentleman who checked us in was able to help us out and get us upgraded to a two-queen bed suite. The valet was amazing getting our car to us quickly when we had to be at our destination early each morning. I also loved the atmosphere of the hotel! The pool area, bar, rooms, etc. all had the New Orleans feel that I love! And we still got the awesome Hampton breakfasts!

The hotel was great. The staff was friendly. The valet staff quickly grabbed the car when it was time to leave. The pool was cool and had a New Orleans feel with the layout., it had character and was not cookie cutter. The complimentary breakfast was great. The cheese omlets was a nice dress up. There was a nice park directly accross the street if you wanted to take a nice stroll. During the evening the lobby bar was a happening seen. It was my first time to New Orleans so was looking for a nice hotel near the port for one night precruise. Found a great prepaid rate here, so decided to book. I was also intrigued that it was a refurbished cotton factory and loved the tall windows and high ceilings pictured on the website. From the street, the hotel is nice, but its basically a brick building. But walking into the lobby, wow. Its gorgeous. Big and airy and high ceilings. There is a small bar off to the side, loved the br... Read more

This was a nice stay, clean, comfortable room. The staff was friendly. There was a problem with the desk chair in my room being filthy, but it could have easily been missed by housekeeping. The whole rest of the room was very clean and nice. The location was good, just a $6 Uber ride to Bourbon St. and I walked back. Also, thee valet only parking was a surprise to me. I dont like paying for or using valet.

Stayed here for 2 nights on a touring holiday of the South. The room was really big with two double beds which were very comfortable. Lovely bathroom with an over bath shower. Plenty of hot water. The room was clean and in a quiet area. Breakfast was buffet style which a good selection to choose from. Again the cuttlery and crockery are all plastic which is unusual for us but seemed to be a bit of a theme in the Southern US. Hotel is in a good location for the sights of interest and would de... This hotel is an authentic New Orleans building, originally a waterfront warehouse and now converted into a beautiful hotel. It is across the street from the Convention Center on one side and a small, pretty park on the other. The hotel is well run, clean, efficient, and properly priced. I highly recommend it.

We arrived very late after a long drive and the hotel staff was dealing with internet issues. This did not cause any issues for us because they had everything prepared for us when we arrived. The room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. There is only one drawback. We used valet parking which was great at the late arrival but the cost was $40 a day. That is quite expensive but it would have cost $20 everywhere else in the area.

I was in town for a convention and you really can't get a more convenient location. The breakfast had pretty much everything you would need/want to start your day. The lobby was also really nice. I stayed in room 829 and it was clean, comfy, and quiet. The wifi was a little slow but wasn't in the room much. It's a short walk to some really nice restaurants in the warehouse district. Some of the staff were quirky and less helpful than others but would definitely recommend a stay here.

Nice hotel very close to the convention center. About 1 mile walk to French Quarter. The room was quite adequate. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful.
