This hotel just can't be beat for the location and the price! Everything is within walking distance. You don't even have to leave the block for great food!! Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde are a couple of blocks down. We had a deluxe room. It was quiet and recently renovated. We have stayed here several times in years past and we'll be back!

This quaint New Orleans hotel was the perfect place to stay after our cruise. The hotel was located close to all the best attractions. Decatur street has lots of local bars and shops. Price was good and the hotel staff was super friendly. The only thing we might do different is if we go back we might use the public parking lot across from the hotel instead of the hotel. It took us 45 minutes to get our truck back. We will reccomend this hotel to friends and family. Loved it!

First time I have stayed in the French Quarter.. I was expecting it to be noisy.. and crowded but this sweet Inn.. is tucked back .. and once you enter the courtyard.. you would never know you were downtown.. except for the delicious aroma of all the restaurants.. and the sound of the Calliope playing on the RIver boat. The room was small but since we only slept there It was perfect.. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.. I have only good things to say about ... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the French Market Inn during our recent visit instead of the large chain hotels and had an absolutely incredible experience. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly, our room, which was a Deluxe Room with a king sized bed, was clean and charming with the unique brick interior walls and the bed was out of this world comfy. We will definitely stay at this hotel for now on when we book our trips to the New Orleans area.

Do not stay here rooms are very small and not updated, not even room for a chair in the double queen and no real blankets ? They also moved us after two nights to a king bed room, even after I told them I was with my adult son ? they sent a roll away cot bed ...really ? also the room had NO WINDOWS.

My friend and I stayed here the first week of December. I loved this hotel! The room was huge and it was beautiful. We had a great view of Decatur street. We even got treated to wedding parade underneath our window one night! The location is great. It is only a block other two from Jackson Square. There is a beautiful courtyard that must be georgeous in the sumner. The bathroom was beautiful. I loved the tiled shower. This honestly was one of my favorite hotels that I have stayed in. The ... Actually found this place because of Trip Advisor. I was looking g for places to stay and this was definitely within our price point. I couldn't believe the location and affordability. Looked and some pics and reviews and took the plunge. I'm so glad we did. This place is beautiful. Fantastic character as well. The room is a little small for four of us, but quite frankly we weren't here to spend much time in our room other than to sleep. The staff are friendly, rooms are clean and have recently ... Perfectly located hotel in the French Quarter. Close to most things but far away from the party on Bourbon St. I had an interior room which was bigger than expected. The staff was excellent and always ready to give suggestions or answer our questions. The only minor issue was that the Wifi connection was not that great especially in the evenings, otherwise I would definitely recommend this hotel.

when in New Orleans I like to stay in the older quaint hotels of yesteryear. This was a great pick. Short walk to the Mississippi River, Cafe Du Monde, Jackson Sq, Central Grocery etc.... Quiet rooms. A/C worked well. No problems at all in our room. Check-in was great w/ friendly front desk help and the baggage assistance was awesome too. Highly recommend this place.

The French Quarter Inn is a beautiful, impressive and charming place to rest and relax right in the heart of the French Quarter. The staff are all so very friendly and helpful... I would like to say a special thanks to Nancy, at the front desk, and Terrance who both were so welcoming! The Inn is very clean and has a New Orleans decor with a beautiful courtyard. The prices are incredibly reasonable. A wonderful experience for sure, as this was my first time in New Orleans!
