Beautiful hotel with a very nice staff especially Nancy. Convenient room near everything you would like to see in the French Quarter. I recommend taking advantage of their restaurant offers. The streetcar station isn't far and there is a lot to do right outside the door.

We LOVE the French Market Inn and always stay there when in NOLA. This last trip was equally wonderful. Our room was huge, sumptuous, with full balcony overlooking the river. The staff is fabulous, considerate, and jovial. It's location is IDEAL, right in the heart of the French Quarter and within walking distance of the best eats in town, as well as the Cafe du Monde. The hotel has an enchanting courtyard garden which at night is nothing short if magical.

Both the staff and the rooms are excellent here. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with ideas of what to do and where to eat. We had a king room with no windows. Having no windows seemed odd to me at first but the room is a decent size so it wasn't a big deal. Modern tiled shower was great and would easily fit more than one person. Breakfast is not included here but there are many restaurants in the area. If you are unable to do stairs, be sure to let the front desk know and they wi... Read more

We stopped at the French Market on the way to and the way back from Florida where we were visiting family for the holidays. The hotel is clean and well run. It's nothing amazing, but steady. Our first night we were in a windowless room that felt a little weird. Second night was much better, with a view of the water and the setup for the upcoming bowl game. Everything is an easy walk--French quarter, Bally's, Jackson square, and Bourbon Street if you're looking for a skanky time.

This hotel just can't be beat for the location and the price! Everything is within walking distance. You don't even have to leave the block for great food!! Jackson Square and Cafe du Monde are a couple of blocks down. We had a deluxe room. It was quiet and recently renovated. We have stayed here several times in years past and we'll be back!

This quaint New Orleans hotel was the perfect place to stay after our cruise. The hotel was located close to all the best attractions. Decatur street has lots of local bars and shops. Price was good and the hotel staff was super friendly. The only thing we might do different is if we go back we might use the public parking lot across from the hotel instead of the hotel. It took us 45 minutes to get our truck back. We will reccomend this hotel to friends and family. Loved it!

First time I have stayed in the French Quarter.. I was expecting it to be noisy.. and crowded but this sweet Inn.. is tucked back .. and once you enter the courtyard.. you would never know you were downtown.. except for the delicious aroma of all the restaurants.. and the sound of the Calliope playing on the RIver boat. The room was small but since we only slept there It was perfect.. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable.. I have only good things to say about ... Read more

My husband and I stayed at the French Market Inn during our recent visit instead of the large chain hotels and had an absolutely incredible experience. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and friendly, our room, which was a Deluxe Room with a king sized bed, was clean and charming with the unique brick interior walls and the bed was out of this world comfy. We will definitely stay at this hotel for now on when we book our trips to the New Orleans area.

They also moved us after two nights to a king bed room, even after I told them I was with my adult son ? they sent a roll away cot bed ...really ? also the room had NO WINDOWS.
