Stayed for 3 nights. Must have informed the staff at least 4 times of the neglected puke splatter in the stairwell. It was still there by the time I left. Otherwise, an average Embassy Suites stay. Clean and comfortable room, free breakfast in the AM, friendly staff. In close proximity to the conventions center and a good compromise on distance for those wishing to experience both uptown and downtown.

Beautiful rooms in The Lofts section - 12 foot ceilings, exposed brick / windows! Separate from main hotel which makes it quaint, more exclusive, less "among the masses". All the same amenities - breakfast, happy hour, etc! Workout facilities, sweet hospitality! Close to convention center!

We arrived before lunch on May 12th and were given a room almost immediately. Since most hotels have a 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. check-in, I was pleasantly surprised. All of the reservation desk staff we very pleasant and accommodating throughout our stay at the hotel. The concierge on duty, Brad, was very accommodating and got us a lunch reservation for that afternoon and booked a city tour for us for the following morning. We spent 4 nights at the hotel. We ate in the bar/grill and ate breakfast in the dining area. Everything was clean and well maintained. The food was good. The choices for breakfast were numerous. The hotel is close to the Riverwalk and within walking distance of the French Quarter and other venues.

I loved this hotel from the beginning to the end. The scenery was beautiful and I had a great view of the city from my balcony. Everyone from the concierge, front desk staff, valet, and staff were VERY friendly. The stay at Embassy made my experience even better.

I believe that all the rooms are suites. The room was very clean & spacious. I missed the sink that is usually by the coffee maker, & fridge. The hotel is within walking distance to the French Quarter, Canal St., the Convention Center, & many other tourist attractions. The FREE breakfast was excellent! There was a buffet line, and a "made to order" line... the omelettes were huge! I would recommend the Embassy Suites on Julia St.

Great staff, acceptable rooms. As you'd expect very accommodating personnel. Disappointed in quality of accommodation - particularly in relation to room rate charged. I think that the Bran wasn't quite maintained during my staff. Maybe I am daft but I am sure it isn't good practice to place the coffee maker adjacent to the toilet in the bathroom.

Definitely a great hotel. Food was fantastic with certainly memorable omelets. Happ hour good, and late night grill goo sandwiches. Only criticism was late room make up one day and not enough coffee. Friendly staff and concegeire. Close to Quarter, shopping and Casino

We stayed at The Lofts Tower at the Embassy Suites. Everything about The Lofts was 100%. The lobby and reception area were small, quaint, and boutique-like. The small reception desk staff were very friendly, warm, and accommodating. The manager's reception area was clean and their staff/bartenders were very happy. The quality of drinks and choices was a step above the normal Embassy Suites manager's reception. The snacks/food provided during manager's reception were tasty. The complimenta... Read more

ES has good, but small, rooms, quiet. clean, and convenient location. Breakfast is included. Parking is not and runs around $40/night. Room was similar to other ES rooms, but smaller. Buffet breakfast was above average. The happy hour was decidedly meager compared to other ES hotels. Valet parking is a major inconvenience because of the lack of staff. We waited over 15 minutes for our car, which was better than the 35 minutes the person next to me waited the previous day. Hotel offers phone-ah... Read more

Room was oddly laid out, and felt kind of old and run down. Staff was very helpful, and had great service. Breakfast was typical for embassy. But quality of the rooms was not up to standards of other embassy suites, we have stayed in. Was an easy cab ride to French quartet. Overall, a value stay.

Took quite a while to check in. Room was clean and nice. Bed was comfortable. Ice machine was broken on our floor so we had to go down a floor to get ice. Convenient to the riverfront shops, aquarium and great restaurants. Breakfast was good, just very crowded. Overall I would not mind staying here again

The staff at this hotel was exceedingly friendly and polite. The beds were very comfortable. The hotel hallways could use a little update with some color. They were bare and white. We recently stayed at the Embassy Suites in Austin Texas and loved it. So, we were looking forward to our stay in NOLA. There was no comparison in cleanliness and updates. I know NOLA is a party town and you expect a little wear and tear on rooms but ours had furniture that had chunks of wood missing. The walls were scratched and dirty. This is not your normal Embassy Suites. Things started off with a poor check-in process. We came to the desk at the front of the line with two persons working the counter. We stood there for at least 10 minutes waiting to be checked in. We ended up being assigned to "The Loft" a facility that is in a different building next to the main building. The bad: staff at this hotel need some hospitality training! The valet and front desk person were not very friendly at all and are very callous and unwelcoming for the most part. Valet was rude and pushy and unwelcoming! The good: Breakfast was very good! Evening reception was good with friendly bartender! Snacks at reception were ok but a little lacking but ok. This hotel overall is run fairly well just need to train desk staff a little better.

I am not easy to please and this hotel really surprised me. Upon checking in, Joseph was more than happy to help. We went up to the room and it was very clean very spacious and more than I expected for the price. I've never been to New Orleans and I was kind of wary about being there and this was a great area and a great hotel. The happy hour was awesome and everyone was so friendly and accommodating. Our stay at the Embassy Suites started off a bit rocky. I had booked a suite with 2 beds many months earlier (on the Embassy Suites/Hilton website), so when I checked in and they told me I had a king room with a sofa bed, I was not happy. He told me they were full, the double bedded rooms needed to be renovated whereas my king room had been renovated, he was charging me the lower king rate, etc. So it looked like my travel companion would have to deal with the sofa bed (if I had been the one ... Not sure the that the extra charge to stay at the Lofts was spent well. Saying this, we never have stayed at the main hotel. I probably would stay at the main hotel next time. Did the digital check in, but when we got to the hotel, no one was at the front desk, and when we checked out no one was at the desk. Evening reception not much difference. Did have one hot item, but no chips, salsa, or cheese dip. Breakfast was the same to me.

We were down to NOL for a convention, picked the Embassy Suites for its proximity to the convention center, as well as value considering it includes a full breakfast. Little did we know that they also offer a happy hour from 5:30-7 every night, not reduced price drinks, but free cocktails; beer, wine, well drinks, even Hurricanes (an NOL born rum concoction). Breakfast was great, afternoon snacks and drinks were great, service and rooms were great. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was after we walk the town all day it would of been nice to get in the pool but it was green. Other people were swimming in it but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. That was my only complaint about the Embassy Suites so it was minor but I myself would rather have a blue clear pool and not a green murky pool.

If possible, get a premier suite (cost is about the same). They are located on the top two floors. If you get an even numbered room, you have a great view of the bridge from your little 4x7 balcony, odd numbered rooms look toward the city but you can still see the bridge if you are in the right spot of the room or positioned just right on the balcony. The room had most of the amenities but was missing the shower cap. Despite that I left my used towels hanging on the back of the door, all of them were removed every day (they may need to revi... This hotel was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and eager to help. The dining area is also really nice. Perfect location! I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to have a great time in the city. Also good for families! All around great experience.

We stayed at the Embassy Suites New Orleans for 4 nights in October, 2016. We had gone to NOLA to visit the latest wing of the WW II museum and to celebrate my birthday. The hotel was perfect for us--quiet, well managed, and spacious. We took advantage of the daily breakfasts and the evening cocktail hours, and found that we were located about equal distances from the museum and Harrah's casino. It was just a short walk to both places, and a very comfortable walk to the French Quarter/Jackso... Read more

This hotel is close to alot of the sites we were visiting and that is why we chose this hotel. The buffet breakfast was never very good in the 5 days we went to it. Evening reception was nacho chips and alcohol. The enternet was non existant the entire time we were there. We had four rooms in our party and no one ever was able to connect to the internet. Everything else was ok but in this day and age if you don't have internet you are not coming back.

We stayed in this hotel the night before our cruise and the night after and we loved this place. The hotel staff was so friendly and made our stay worth every penny. There are several food options and we walked to Bourbon street with no problem. They also had a complimentary open bar in the evening for 2 hours with wine, beer, and some mixed drinks which was really nice.

One of the best places to stay in NOLA. Not far from the Quarter and Harrahs. Breakfast is great and you can never go wrong with free happy hour. Many of the rooms have balconies and living rooms. The rooms are old but always clean and the AC worked wonderfully.

The hotel is amazing the Staff was very friendly and helpful. We arrived at 10 am and normally check-in is 4pm . When we made it to the hotel they told us that we could check in early, and that they would let us know when our room would be ready they also offered to store our luggage so that we could go shopping or grab a bite to eat . We The concierge Diane was amazing ! The breakfast cook was awesome ! we had a wonderful stay.

We stayed here to be close to the convention center. Our show was at the centers south end which made this place quite convenient. There are a variety of restaurants within close walking distance. Breakfast is great, as is the managers reception. Nice staff.

The room was very large with many luxuries. The bed was extremely comfortable. The bathroom was very large and had a walk in shower complete with facilities for the handicap, including a cushioned seat. We especially liked the lighted mirror with its built in night light. Would like one of those for my home. There was plenty of room for a wheel chair as well.

The one redeeming quality of our stay was we did have a nice view of the Mississippi River. Other than this is was a horrific visit, with the worst service I have experienced anywhere. Embarrassing that I brought my sisters here to celebrate a birthday. The service is completely non-existent. Front desk, concierge, valet, bellman - no one in the hotel will answer the phone when you call from your room. Room not clean, no coffee supplies, over an hour wait to retrieve car from valet (valet pa... Read more

When I travel with kids, I prefer Embassy Suites for their suites, hot breakfast, and evening reception. This one has a convenient location (walking distance to French Quarter) and extremes friendly staff. We used the heated outdoor pool (which was barely warm enough to be tolerable) twice since my kids love to swim. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to NOLA.

I chose this hotel for a business trip that was near the meeting I was attending. I checked into a room and after a couple of hours my internet service was not working nor was the cable. I called the front desk to find out this room has issues in the bed room area with both the internet and cable. She told me to use the living room area at which point I asked for a manager. We ended up switching rooms and I received no help from the staff. I asked why would you check anyone in a room without int... Read more

Clean and friendly hotel that is walking distance to the Convention Center, Harrah's Casino, great restaurants, the French Quarter, the street car system and the cruise port. The breakfast that is included was not that great but they are trying to serve a lot of people. In a town known for great food I would pay to have a New Orleans breakfast somewhere else. Rooms are clean and quiet and bed was comfortable.

Although the hotel is adequate and bed was comfortable, it does not meet the standards of the other Embassy Suites that I have stayed in. The décor is very plain and the hallway where the rooms are is downright Spartan with white walls and cement blocks. The service was definitely sub-optimal. I was there for a convention and sharing the room with two other people. It took a lot of work to have them split the bill three ways for 4 of the 6 nights I was there. And had we not checked the nigh... Read more

We stayed here on 11/5-11/7. My wife, my two girls and I arrived for a two day stay before a cruise. My intent was to walk to the terminal but bags and uneven streets prevented that. It can be done. Google Earth the streets and make sure you can do it. We arrived on a flight at 9:55 am on Saturday - the room was not ready - but did not expect it to. What I was most impressed with was the hospitality. I would like to send out my best wishes to Mr. Rickey the Bell Hop person and Ms. Diana t... Read more

I visited this hotel during a national conference. We had a suite with 3 of us having adequate space for the 5 day stay. The free breakfast was convenient and offered all types of foods. The location was near the convention center and Riverwalk Outlet, with a short walk to Canal shops and the French Quarters. Mulate's famous restaurant was a 2 block walk.

Reasonable pricing, very comfortable room, EXCELLENT staff, good FREE breakfast. Southern hospitality at its best. Absolutely perfect location...the hotel is within walking distance of the French Quarter and the Riverwalk on the Mississippi. Access to the street cars for the Garden District and for French Quarter are also only a few blocks from the hotel.

Stay here for the Staff, enjoy the amenities! Seriously, the staff is amazing, the location is great, and the free happy hour is the best. The breakfast is quite good too! It is only about a mile from the French Quarter, so location is great. Price is reasonable for this area, and to repeat myself again, the staff was great. I will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel was a good value in a good location, but the bed was extra firm - like plywood hard - which left us with back aches for days. We will not return simply because we value our sleep more than a hot breakfast.

My brother, sister, and I stayed here for a couple of days over Thanksgiving as a family get-away. The hotel was very nice, and the concierge, Diane Hampton, was exceptional.
