Me and my friend flew from dallas to Kenner for her 27th birthday I must say we were pleasantly surprised. Rooms were clean staff was friendly beds were comfortable. Even though it's near the airport we heard no airplane noise. Nice pool centrally located literally 6 miles from treasure chest casino as well as there being a great daiquiri shop next door.maybe a 15 minute drive to the French Quarters.

This location is great is you're looking for something near the airport. Unfortunately though, this place needs a major renovation. While it was clean enough, I felt a little ripped off for the price I paid. The inside looks like a dated 80's high school. I happened to have a room in the west wing which is in the very back of the hotel. The awkward main hallway went from extra wide (literally 6 people could walk side by side) to a narrow one person corridor that seemed borderline dangerous ... Read more

I stayed one night in this hotel due to a late night arrival before before moving to a riverside CBD hotel for a business conference. The staff were very friendly and the refurbished room I was given on the 4th floor was clean and tidy. The gym was very good and more than one would expect for an airport hotel. The main foyer and other public areas are however looking very tired and the chairs in the lobby area are grimy and very soft. Overall an acceptable hotel as long as it's not more than one... By far this is one of the best kept secrets in the area. I've eaten at a lot of places in New Orleans and Kenner but this restaurant by far was the BEST I've tasted and was a very pleasant surprise. If you are staying at this hotel from out of town you don't have to go far to taste authentic Louisiana food. I recommend the Crab cakes, Boudin balls, and the shrimp and grits. AMAZING!!!!

This was a homerun knowing we needed to be at the Airport early in the morning, the drive was about 5 min up the frontage road. The front desk was very helpful in suggesting restaurants and giving directions. Also the fact that the breakfast was open at 3am help us also due to airport time, very convenient. The food wasn't bad but don't expect IHOP type quality. The beds were very comfortable and rooms were very roomy. The only aspect that might be a turn off but we made it work was the pos... Read more

Nearly "just around the corner" from the airport. 5 minutes drive to car rental return or departure area. They do have a shuttle. Has the usual pool and fitness center but did not go them. Room is spacious enough with adequate bathroom but tiny counter space around sink. Larger than usual flatscreen HD tv. Free wifi!! Free parking. Ask for upgrade when you register if you are an IHG member, you may get either free breakfast ( our flight too early) or extra points!

Was military reunion location that didn't honor the discounted rate when room block was booked but offered rooms at the regular rate. Found another location 1/2 block away for 20% less than discounted rate. Hospitality room was adequate but buffet and banquet dinner were pricey and food quality was close to not edible. Staff was hurried and not helpful. Banquet room was booked until 10 pm but were told we had to leave by 8:30 so staff could setup for another event. Not recommended.

A fully functional place to stay in connection to the airport. Excellent service in the reception and a very good shuttle bus to the airport with friendly and helpful driver! Difficult to find a bottle of water in the premises and the bar staff was not very helpful (she had only one bottle left that she unwillingly sold to us). The room was damp and a smelled a bit moldy.

I came at 5 pm and they made me wait for 1 hour as the room was not ready. While checking out as well, the lady at the reception was rude. I asked her to make the airport shuttle wait for a minute as I was coming downstairs and she refused. Definitely not a good customer service.

We stayed here for two nights one week, and for one night just over a week later. Our first room was large, clean, and well-appointed. We were disappointed that there did not appear to be an in-room coffee maker; other than that it was very nice and quiet. On our second stay we were offered a disability-access room in order to obtain an early check in. In this room we discovered a coffee maker hidden inside the console beneath the tv. This hotel was not what I expected for a Crown Plaza Hotel. The hotel is old and I understand was a Hoilday Inn at one time. It needs to be updated both in public areas and rooms. This hotel is less than 10 minutes from the airport. It is an older hotel but is in nice condition. Their are plenty of restaurants in close proximity, with some within walking distance. WIFI worked well during my stay. The staff I interacted with were all friendly. I stay in the airport area on a regular basis and this will be on my list for future visits.

Very comfortable and convenient hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant had limited menu but good food. Shuttle driver was not the most courteous but, nevertheless, it was so convenient to have that service.

I called a third time and told them I was reporting to Better Business Bureau, about 30 min. later they call me and all of a sudden shoes were found..after a week that they said nothing was turned in. Someone went in my lug... Read more

My company had a conference at this property 3 weeks ago! My samsung galaxy tablet that I use for work was stolen out of my room while it was charging. I've spoken to GENERAL MANAGER IVY LIM several times about the issue. Initially she was blowing me off but once I got corporate involved we came up with a resolution to replace it. This was Tuesday of thanksgiving week! Well I've yet to hear back from IVY LIM aabout the resolution and here it is FRIDAY DEC 2 and she STILL won't call me back! I... Read more
