The hotel was literally 2 blocks from the famous Bourbon St and about 4 blocks from Canal st. The hotel was clean and quiet. Inside the rooms were comfortable bedding and adequate space. We had a refrigerator and a microwave was right down the hall where the ice machine was. Overall my stay was very nice and I can't wait to go back.

My wife headed over to New Orleans for dinner and a show at the Saenger Theater. We picked this hotel due to the location: two blocks south of the Seanger and two blocks north of Bourbon street. To our surprise to hotel is very new, we'll run, and very reasonable in price. It shares the building the the Ritz-Carlton on Canal. Our room was a mini suite with a wonderful wrap around sofa and mini refrigerator for the left overs from Dickie Brennen's Steak House. I would highly recommend this hotel ... Read more

After much research I picked this Courtyard for a five night stay. The location is ideal. It is just a few blocks from the busy party sector of the French Quarter. Excellent restaurants, walgreens and many bars a few blocks away. Well within walking distance of all the French Quarter attractions, but just removed enough to offer a respite from the scene. It is a few blocks from the throngs often marching down bourbon street. It shares a building with a far more expensive hotel. Our room... Read more

The location of the hotel was perfect. Easy walking distance to all things "French Quarter." GPS was not the greatest help in finding the hotel as there are small construction projects all over. So just know it's tucked behind the Ritz Carlton. The staff definitely met the Marriott standard. They were pleasant, cordial and helpful. However, take the valet instructions of removing ALL valuables from your car as seriously as we all should. Although I could overhear conversations as I walked in... Read more

As others have said this hotel makes a great home base for a stay in New Orleans. Easy to walk to Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, the CBD and a streetcar stop that takes you to the Garden District. The room was clean and spacious. We love having the living room and bedroom separate-I stay up late and it is nice for my husband to be able to shut the door to the bedroom and sleep while I hang out in the living room. The bathroom layout was fine for a few nights but for a longer stay having to ... Read more

Great Locaton to the Trolleys, French Quarter & Bourbon St. Super hotel, great staff and excellent service. Very helpful with directions around the city. The rooms are clean & very pleasant. Very comfortable bed & super sitting room. Nice frig, bar & microwave area! The resturant on site has the best oatmeal ever! Also, a handy elevator connection to the Ritz!!! We will surely book here again!

Borders the Quarter, good clean suites though you will have to pay for that privilege as well as valet parking. 200 feet to Bourbon street, good helpful staff though the cleaning staff is a bit noisy. Fitness center has a couple of treadmills but no pool.

This hotel is located in the heart of New Orleans with easy walk to Canal Street, Bourbon Street and Jackson Square. The rooms are spacious and very clean. Staff are wonderful and very friendly with excellent customer service. We really enjoyed our stay and many thanks to Shalita and Wendy for making our stay more pleasant.

I don't normally like to stay at big chain hotels but I did not book my stay, the hotel seemed newly refurbished. Great local in a very quiet part of the French Quarter, close to all shopping eats and partying just not in the thick of it. Staff great rooms well appointed.. All and all a good stay. Also part of the Ritz Carlton go to the lower bar for a drink.

We had 2 rooms and this hotel was super clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. You can have them park your car at the hotel or you can go right across the street to public parking and have your car parked, which is way cheaper, but still safe!

Very nice older remodeled hotel very nicely done. Very helpful desk staff. Girl in cafe could have been a little nicer. We had a suite for three ladies and it was very nice. It got rather hot in the outer room as we closed the door between the two room and the hall way was very hot and came under the door to the out part of the suite. Very reasonable rate at $129.00 for the suite.

We were 2 couples sharing a king bedroom suite and the accommodations allowed for privacy. The hotel is just a few blocks from Bourbon street and Canal street and provided easy walking access to French quarter and wide selection of restaurants and bars. Spacious lobby with computer facilities and a small restaurant which was just fine for breakfast. Staff in the hotel was helpful and very responsive to requests and questions. I would definitely stay there again - not luxurious but clean, comf... Read more

The front desk staff was amazing in this property and have great recommendations for nearby restaurants. The rooms were super clean as well as the public spaces. This hotel is conveniently located to everything downtown and French Quarter area very walkable. I suggest this hotel to anyone they have great rates for the best location in town.

Very friendly staff! Would definitely go back! Very convinent location, in the center of everything! Currently the hote is in the middle of road construction, however definitely not the hotels fault! We arrived early and they did not have a room for us to check in, however as soon as a room became available they gave us a call so we were able to start our trip right away!

Great hotel in a great location for going to the French Quarter. Room was very nice, clean and spacious. Parking is convenient, valet service directly across the street. The only negative was that we were promised a "city view", but the only view was the windows of the room across the courtyard.

Staff was very nice and helpful. Our room was not ready so we waited in the lobby, which was big and very relaxing with individual booths with private tv's. After about 1 1/2 hrs I asked how much longer and at that point the lady offered to upgrade us for the wait. Hotel was updated and clean. Great location. Would definitely stay here again!

Enjoyed the amenities of this hotel in the French Quarter. We were upgraded to a nice suite...not much of a view but the room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The front desk staff and parking attendants were VERY helpful and friendly. Would recommend this hotel.

We selected this property for its location near all tourist venues in New Orleans. The room was clean and the beds very comfortable. During this weekend the hotel was completely booked and so there was a lot of activity in the hotel but none of it caused any issues during our stay. Internet service was free and worked great. Only disappointment was the horrible quality of coffee that was provided in the room, tasted like warm water. This hotel only offers Valet parking and no free breakfast... Read more

The front desk never had a long line to check in, ask random questions, or check out. They don't have free breakfast, but they do offer Starbucks coffee. The location is perfection for anything you want to do as it's located in the French quarter and 2 blocks from Bourbon. The room was a suite, and it had a door to the bedroom which added extra privacy from hallway noises. Very clean and I would highly recommend!

We ended up moving from the Marriott on Canal St to this location at the last minute before our stay, and I am so glad we switched! The other location was busy with a conference and couldn't accommodate our rooming needs. I have stayed at that location before, but this Marriott will now be my go-to when wanting to stay close to the French Quarter. We had a King Suite, which was a great value. Lots of space, clean, and quiet! Our rooms faced an inner wall so there was no view-- but that also mean... Read more

This hotel is a bit confusing to get into. There are two elevators to take to get to the rooms. The staff is very good with helping you find new places to go and eat that are off the beaten path! They have daily specials during happy hour in the lobby from quesadillas to wine. We found a really good deal on hotels.com and our room was perfect for our group! The location is one block from Bourbon and basically one street over from Canal street. A great location. And it's easy for Uber to get to ... Read more

This is a wonderful, clean and spacious hotel within walking distance of all attractions in the French Quarter area of the city. If you're not into walking, it is fairly close to the trolly which will take you up and down Canal St. I highly recommend this location for people staying multiple days or with multiple people, as the rooms provide lots of space to spread out and relax. Also... the price/location of this place is hard to beat! Front desk staff was always a pleasure, wishing us a good... Read more

From the smiling friendly valet to the helpful front desk and housekeeping staff, you feel right at home when you walk in. It's obvious from the architecture that this is an older building but its clean, fresh and updated appearance inside, is welcoming. We stayed in 1024... away from the city noise in a huge King size suite with a comfy sitting area, and a separate sleeping area and bathroom. More than enough room for us.... it was awesome. I selected this hotel for a short weekend trip to New Orleans. I wanted a place that wasn't overly expensive and was in walking distance to the French Quarter. This fit the bill perfectly. The St. Charles street trolley passes right in front of the hotel. It's a short walking distance to the other the other trolley lines. There is a Starbuck's across the street. The hotel was very clean. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved the location. Only a block away from Bourbon St. Staff is friendly and helpful. I can't speak for every room, but ours was fantastic. Spacious, modern, updated, classy. Easy parking across the street. Room rate was very reasonable. Only complaint is they don't have a pool. They wanted to charge us $10 a person to swim at the adjoining hotel.

We stayed 2 nights at the Courtyard and had a wonderful experience. As you arrive, the valet is ready for you and they help you unpack your car. They offered to take the cart to our room but we declined. As you enter the lobby the smell is breathtaking. It smells and looks clean and refreshing. When we checked in the gentleman offered us a map, local restaurant choices, and options for tours. We were able to get a top floor and a view of the city. The room was terrific. I wanted to take the bed home with me. It had a great glass shower but it didn't have a tub. I only wish that it had a microwave in the room. It did have a refrigerator, sink, coffee maker. The pool is in doors at the Ritz. My daughter and I love it. Parking is not included and it can be a bit pricey.

We stayed at this hotel for three nights in July. The hotel is well located as it is within walking distance of everything but set apart from the craziness. We had a two room suite which gave us a nice amount of space. had we not had that, the room would have felt cramped. The staff were lovely and helpful. Parking is a hassle, there is a self parking lot to the left of the hotel (i.e. come out and turn left) that seemed to have the best rates. Overall, a nice stay.

The customer service is the best, from the front desk staff, cafe staff, room attendants and parking attendants. The rooms are great. Located a block from Bourbon and close to many good restaurants and stores. A block in from Canal where you can catch the streetcars and explore the city. Can shuttle to and from airport.

The rooms were nice, big, and clean. The rooms contained a mini-bar with a fridge and sink but no microwave. But if u really need one they have a micro next to the ice machine. The staff was very nice & helpful. It is located close enough to all the action yet far enough to get a good night's sleep when coming back.

Location, location, location! Hotel was clean, safe, well kept. Our room/the hotel was spacious and modern, with a delightful flair of French Victorian. Couldn't have been happier with our overnight in NO LA, first time seeing the city and cannot wait to come back to the Courtyard to stay again!

I looked around to find a property that was not to expensive but was in the French Quarter and this property was good value for the location. And as an added bonus our room was upgraded. They have a Starbucks in the lobby so this was nice for a early morning coffee.

I stayed here over Memorial Day with 6 friends who were spread between 4 rooms. We all really enjoyed the location. The hotel is linked to the Ritz so it's easy to get around the blocks while spending most of the time inside - which was helpful during the rain. I loved that the bedroom was separated from the living room, and the bathroom was in between. It was also very helpful having an extra small sink in the living room so friends could multi-task while getting ready for the day or ready fo... Read more
