Good location close to the heart of everything we wanted to do and quiet. Helpful concierge and cold, drinking water (plus cookies!) always available in the lobby. Best free breakfast during our 2 week road tour and cleanest surroundings. Good sized room. Recommend.

We stayed 3 nights and kept raving about how great the hotel was throughout our trip: location, service, rooms, breakfast, free cookies, lemon water, pool, air conditioning, etc... I'm now at the airport leaving this review because about 40 minutes ago, I realized I left my and my husband's passports in the room safe. I was panicking and called the hotel. They located my passports right away and I ordered an UBER to deliver my passports to the airport for me. 40 minutes later, I now have my... Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our three night visit to New Orleans. It was made that much more special by the thoughtful staff at this comfortable hotel. They were all unfailingly generous and kind as we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment of initial contact to check out, all went smoothly. The hotel is located in an excellent location just outside enough of the French Quarter to enjoy the ease to the sights but still retain some tranquility at the end of the day. This was our third stay at this property. It continues to be a great place to experience all this city has to offer. It is close enough to the French Quarter to be convenient but just a short walking distance away to be quiet. The location can't be beat. A short walk puts you in Jackson Square, the French Market and the Trolley stop. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and plentiful. There is a lot of convenient seating in a beautiful atrium. Had a great stay, everything you need is walking distance. Deanies restaurant a must for seafood . Riverfront is beautiful, and hotel is not your typical country inn and suites, it has character and fits right in with the new Orleans look and feel. 7 warehouses renovated beautifully, listed on national historical places.

This hotel always meets my expectations every time I visit New Orleans. It is a renovated factory with a cool design. Not only is it affordable, they are one of the only few hotels in New Orleans that offer complimentary hot breakfast. Great location, only a few minutes away from restaurants and bars and a very short walk from Bourbon Street, yet the hotel is on a quiet area. Great impressive hallway and good spotlessly clean rooms. There is a nice bar on the ground floor where they play live music sometimes. Although the bar closes at 11.00 if you want to avoid any possible noise you could consider asking for a room on the upper floors. We stayed in an Executive King Suite for 4 nights. The layout was really nice with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Our room overlooked Natchez St and it was relatively quiet. We also loved the location - just 3 blocks away from Canal Street. The French Quarter is an easy walk, and yet we were away from the crowds. The interior is also very cool, as they left some of the original brick and rafters from the warehouse intact. Staff at the hotel were very, very nice. It was great ... Read more

The location of the hotel was decent, but I was very disappointed with the breakfast. The food was below average, and not well stocked. The fruit was not fresh, the waffle fragments were not very fresh and there was not a good variety. The pool was as beautiful as pictured, but tiny.

Complex of hotels very close to the best attractions of the French Quarter; completely SAFE if you're concerned about it not being right by Bourbon. A great cafe/bar in the main lobby (Stacks) where you can drinks to go up to the room or out on the town. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of different times and have always enjoyed the location and the amenities. One of the greatest assets of this property was the lobby bar with the iconic bartender, John Greer. We found Jason the bartender very entertaining when we stopped after a day on the town. The hotel is convenient to transportation to various areas of the city. The breakfast was adequate, the only day we had a problem was on our last day (Friday) as the week-end volume created food shortage at times. My son knocked over his hot chocolate and they were quick to help and make the situation a lot less awkward . I had forgot my waffle in the skillet during the chaos and they made me another one. I stayed here for 2 nights with my aunt and 2 kids in July. The location was ideal- right when we pulled up they unloaded our bags took them to our room and parked our car. The cookies at check in were a big hit with the kids, especially after the long drive from Houston. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet- we had a 2 queen suite on the 5th floor. The small pool in the beautiful (and small) courtyard was ideal for my 4 year old and i to cool off in after walking around all day. The l... Read more

Our first impression was made by the valet who took our keys and assured us he would take care of everything. He gave our daughter Mardi Gras necklaces, got a luggage cart and helped us unload the car, took it up to our room which included having to walk up a short set of steps and carry everything down the rest of the hall - all with a smile and a great attitude. He set the tone for our entire stay. He and the other valets were always ready with a suggestion for where to eat and what to do. Lo... Read more

The hotel had a great location and had friendly and helpful staff. The room rate with breakfast included was a good value. We were able to walk to many of our destinations. We would stay at Country Inn and Suites again.

We stayed here after our cruise from New Orleans. This building is a Historical Landmark with some updating. Vallet parking of $35/day (even though our reservations said free). Don't show up before checkin at 4PM or your room won't be ready and you will have to wait. Our Granddaughters were given a cookie at checkin. Our room were clean and comfortable, however, our floor had a slight tilt and one of the outlets did not work. They only had decaf coffee for the coffee pot, but the desk did ... Read more

Spent one night here using points (a ridiculous number) and found the hotel to be less then pleasant. The front desk and door staff were very nice, but the positives stop there. Out upgraded room 411 was musty and old. The bed was okay but had no top sheet and was easy to roll out of. The furnishings were dated and many lampshades stained. The bedroom had no Windows the floors were uneven to the point that walking on them made the furniture shake. Bathroom has no exhaust fan and a burned out l... Read more

We checked into the hotel and the front desk staff were awesome. They told us about places to go that tourists usually do not go to. We went and had a ball. The buffet breakfast was good and some of the food did change over the 10 days we were there. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were in New Orleans for 10 nights and I had a good night sleep every night. Having a mini fridge in the room was nice to put leftovers in and to cool down our beer. My boys and I stayed here in July while attending the National Youth Gathering. What a charming place. The outside has that colorful New Orleans decor. Inside has a unique country feel. The staff were all friendly and helpful, from the front desk clerks, to the maids, to the valet. The gentleman working in the breakfast room was very polite and courteous. He really took pride in his job. I wish I would have gotten his name and mentioned it to management. But anyway, speaking of the breakf... Read more

This is a unique place to stay and close to everything! We used valet parking and never used the car while we were there. Two blocks to Harah's Casino, street car line, and Creole Queen cruise. We ate the complimentary breakfast every morning and it was very good. Our room (#248) was very nice with 30 ft. ceiling and exposed beams. I would stay here again while In New Orleans. I liked that this hotel had a bar right off the lobby. We would come in at night and sit in the lobby and have an after... Read more

Location: convenient - walking distance to the Convention Centre (and Riverwalk outlets) as well as the French Quarter, only a short block to Canal St. Reception: large and spacious (plenty of chairs to sit back and relax in A/C comfort) with a small business centre (good for printing boarding passes). I stayed here for 1 night and once I got here, I thought it was so stylish. It has a boutique hotel feel and I enjoyed that. It does not have a parking garage so it will cost about $30 dollars to park overnight. Check in was easy. My room was a suite but it wasn't as nice as I had expected considering the stylishness of the outside and lobby area. The room was ok, it was just not as nice as I thought it would be. We decided to stay here when booking our trip to NOLA & reading reviews here on TA. It was a good choice for us. We booked in advance & got a good rate. During our stay staff was very nice & helpful. The hotel is kept up to date & our room was clean & comfy, especially the bed & pillows. Housekeeping did a nice job daily with our room. The hotel's name is a bit misleading, as it led me to think they're in the FQ, when in fact they're in the central business district, on the fringe of the FQ. Tha... Read more

We stayed here because of the hotels closeness to the World War II museum. There have been too many suitcases dragged over the carpets and door fixtures are rusted and rust runs in grooves of the tiled bathroom all of which make me call the hotel shabby. The restaurant for breakfast is a less than inspiring experience. The food selection is limited and after the first day you know exactly what you will have the following day. We stayed three nights in a king size suite and had no major complaints. It is a little weird that the only window and door opens to the atrium, but we had no complaints. If there had been in fire in the hallway or the front part of the room, we would have had no exit. The room was spacious and included a sofa-bed, desk, a parlor chair, and a small fridge in the front part of the room with a king bed in the bedroom. They "claimed" I never paid for the hotel and had requested almost $500 in upgrades. I was livid. I made several calls to accounting with no return calls and to the national customer service number. Everything is within walking distance from the shopping, to the casinos, to all of the touristy stops like cafe du Monde and bourbon street. We stayed 3 nights and our room whilst furnished well and which was clean and comfortable looked out to an alley with rubbish bins and rubble. A good breakfast was included and it was nice to see china plates being used after the many other places we stayed at used disposable crockery and cutlery. The location is great and we could walk everywhere. I did think it was a bit over priced compared to the other places we stayed in the US but maybe that's what you pay in N.O.

Very neat old revamped building. Only negative is the built in bar is very noisy throughout the night, especially in the low 200s rooms.

I had not been to New Orleans after hurricane Katrina, so did not know what to expect. The French quarter with all its attractions is still there. However, something new has happened since the hurricane: old buildings have been reclaimed and converted into new and improved spaces all over town. Many of the new hotels, restaurants, bars and other venues have remodeled buildings that used to be office buildings, residences or even churches for their new purpose. This gives the city a new feel, and... Read more

When bought to the staff's / manager's attention, our concerns were minimized. They offered nothing for our concerns.
