Good location close to the heart of everything we wanted to do and quiet. Helpful concierge and cold, drinking water (plus cookies!) always available in the lobby. Best free breakfast during our 2 week road tour and cleanest surroundings. Good sized room. Recommend.

We stayed 3 nights and kept raving about how great the hotel was throughout our trip: location, service, rooms, breakfast, free cookies, lemon water, pool, air conditioning, etc... I'm now at the airport leaving this review because about 40 minutes ago, I realized I left my and my husband's passports in the room safe. I was panicking and called the hotel. They located my passports right away and I ordered an UBER to deliver my passports to the airport for me. 40 minutes later, I now have my... Read more

My wife and I enjoyed our three night visit to New Orleans. It was made that much more special by the thoughtful staff at this comfortable hotel. They were all unfailingly generous and kind as we were celebrating our anniversary. From the moment of initial contact to check out, all went smoothly. The hotel is located in an excellent location just outside enough of the French Quarter to enjoy the ease to the sights but still retain some tranquility at the end of the day. This was our third stay at this property. It continues to be a great place to experience all this city has to offer. It is close enough to the French Quarter to be convenient but just a short walking distance away to be quiet. The location can't be beat. A short walk puts you in Jackson Square, the French Market and the Trolley stop. The breakfast in the morning is delicious and plentiful. There is a lot of convenient seating in a beautiful atrium. Had a great stay, everything you need is walking distance. Deanies restaurant a must for seafood . Riverfront is beautiful, and hotel is not your typical country inn and suites, it has character and fits right in with the new Orleans look and feel. 7 warehouses renovated beautifully, listed on national historical places.

This hotel always meets my expectations every time I visit New Orleans. It is a renovated factory with a cool design. Not only is it affordable, they are one of the only few hotels in New Orleans that offer complimentary hot breakfast. There is room service for appetizers, The rooms are clean, the staff is prompt to respond to any requests, including valet and housekeeping. This is my go to hotel because it's on... Read more

Great location, only a few minutes away from restaurants and bars and a very short walk from Bourbon Street, yet the hotel is on a quiet area. Great impressive hallway and good spotlessly clean rooms. There is a nice bar on the ground floor where they play live music sometimes. Although the bar closes at 11.00 if you want to avoid any possible noise you could consider asking for a room on the upper floors. The first room we got given was 322 but it being next to the ice machine and as there were... Read more

We stayed in an Executive King Suite for 4 nights. The layout was really nice with a sitting room separate from the bedroom. Our room overlooked Natchez St and it was relatively quiet. We also loved the location - just 3 blocks away from Canal Street. The French Quarter is an easy walk, and yet we were away from the crowds. The interior is also very cool, as they left some of the original brick and rafters from the warehouse intact. Staff at the hotel were very, very nice. It was great ... Read more

This was a great spot in the French Quarter. I picked it for its proximity to the tourist spots. We were able to walk to Jackson Square, Cafe Du Monde, and Acme Oyster House, and Burbon Street. I felt safe with my 3 kids. Hotel and rooms are clean. Highly recommend.

The hotel occupies a quiet, convenient location on the edge of the bustling French Quarter and is a short walk to the casino, acquarium and river walk. The staff was friendly and helpful. My wife and I stayed in a 3rd floor king room that looked onto the alley in the back of the hotel. Roomy bathroom. Excellent A/C. Comfortable bed, desk and easy chair. The location of the hotel was decent, but I was very disappointed with the breakfast. The food was below average, and not well stocked. The fruit was not fresh, the waffle fragments were not very fresh and there was not a good variety. The pool was as beautiful as pictured, but tiny.

Complex of hotels very close to the best attractions of the French Quarter; completely SAFE if you're concerned about it not being right by Bourbon. A great cafe/bar in the main lobby (Stacks) where you can drinks to go up to the room or out on the town. The little pool in the middle of the hotel isn't much, but it is outdoors so you can lounge a bit. Best part of this place is the price of course. Rooms are quiet, not huge, but good enough. I've stayed at this hotel a couple of different times and have always enjoyed the location and the amenities. One of the greatest assets of this property was the lobby bar with the iconic bartender, John Greer. We found Jason the bartender very entertaining when we stopped after a day on the town. The hotel is convenient to transportation to various areas of the city. The breakfast was adequate, the only day we had a problem was on our last day (Friday) as the week-end volume created food shortage at times. Eddy the concierge was very good at his job and gave us some great ideas for various options to see the town. Very close to Mothers restaurant which was a great place for great food.

Hotel was inviting and rooms were as expected. Not much sound-proofing between them, but never had an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful.

I just wanted to show appreciation to the two ladies that worked the breakfast buffet on July 31, 2016. They are a ray of sunshine and go above and beyond to make each person feel welcome and comfortable. My son knocked over his hot chocolate and they were quick to help and make the situation a lot less awkward . I had forgot my waffle in the skillet during the chaos and they made me another one. I don't know their names & I wish I did now, but I hope management shows these two ladies appreciati... Read more

Great location - walkable to all of French Quarter, but not loud late on Friday night. Close to museums too. Building has character, built on multiple previous buildings. Good breakfast with adequate seating in attractive high ceilinged area. Friendly and helpful staff.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my aunt and 2 kids in July. The location was ideal- right when we pulled up they unloaded our bags took them to our room and parked our car. The cookies at check in were a big hit with the kids, especially after the long drive from Houston. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet- we had a 2 queen suite on the 5th floor. The small pool in the beautiful (and small) courtyard was ideal for my 4 year old and i to cool off in after walking around all day. The l... Read more

Our first impression was made by the valet who took our keys and assured us he would take care of everything. He gave our daughter Mardi Gras necklaces, got a luggage cart and helped us unload the car, took it up to our room which included having to walk up a short set of steps and carry everything down the rest of the hall - all with a smile and a great attitude. He set the tone for our entire stay. He and the other valets were always ready with a suggestion for where to eat and what to do. Lo... Read more

Check in was very slow, actually our room was not ready till 7. The valet guys were the best ever, everyone of them took care of our car and the taxis the whole trip. The room was very nice, spacious and clean. Nice place to stay.

This hotel is clean, close to the French quarter. People working there are very friendly, helpful, service with a smile. The concierges very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, even though it could have been better if there's more variety of fruits. The snacks were great. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

The Country Inn is very close to both the French Quarter and waterfront. The hotel is designed in an old world manner and is beautifully maintained. Good breakfast. Nice pool and excellent gym facilities. The front bar is on the street and is always lively. A great place to visit with family and kids. A short walk to French Quarter, Bourbon Street and the mighty Mississippi

My wife and I just wanted a short get-away but did not want to spend a lot on the hotel because we spend the majority of our time out of hotel. But we still wanted a nice, clean place to stay. This hotel was excellent. Not just because of its great location to to sites, but also the price of the room. The staff was very friendly and the bartender, Jason was absolutely AWESOME! The bed was sooo comfortable and the room was very clean. We were skeptical because the price was under $90, but ... Read more

Only one front desk staff member to handle many calls and groups of guests coming to check in or with problems to be solved. I didn't get a promised call when a room was ready for me,with the result that I sat waiting in the lobby for 45 minutes when I am sure there were several available. Then I was given non-fitting keys twice, to two different rooms, so that I ended up having to leave the hotel for my meeting without having gotten into the room and without a chance to unpack and change. We stayed here three nights with our two kids, ages 18 and 21. We were graciously welcomed the minute we got out of our airport taxi and again when we walked into the lobby. The hotel is pretty inside with lots of spots for sitting and a nice little lobby bar open to the sidewalk. Our room was clean and comfortable, a little on the small side, but had everything we needed including a fridge and microwave. The pool is small but in a quaint courtyard with a view up to the stars. There is also a ni... Read more

This was a great hotel. The location was great! It was an easy walk to everything: Bourbon Street, the French Market, Canal Street, the casino, the Riverwalk, etc. Our room was very clean and spacious. The breakfast buffet was very good. It had a large selection of food items which were all very tasty and there was plenty of seating for everyone. But most of all, I would recommend this hotel and I would stay there again myself, because the staff was wonderful! They were very kind and frie... Read more

This is a great location for generally getting around the city, restaurants and bars.. Comfortable and lovely friendly staff. Rooms have character and are nice and clean. The only disappointment was the pool which was not really large enough to have a good swim, but ideal for kids.

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel, the room was clean with the exception of the couch which had stains and you could not close the drapes for privacy. The staff was excellent and very tentative to my needs which I enjoyed. The inclusive breakfast was absolutely delicious. The outdoor heated pool was awesome.

We had a great experience at the Country Inn in New Orleans. It is near many New Orleans attractions: a quick walk to the heart of the French Quarter, and equal distance to the WWII Museum in the opposite direction. The hotel staff was very friendly; they have a lot of great people working there. I couldn't resist taking a cookie when I left the lobby each morning. :-) Great way to go above-and-beyond with free cookies and water. The only negative thing I have to say about it would be that th... Read more

Great place to stay due to great location, great bedding, good service, and all the things you look for in a good hotel. The breakfast buffet is less than you expect unless you don't really want much for breakfast. Central to all the best stuff in the Big Easy.

Staff greeted us at the door upon arrival and gave us beads which was pretty cool. Room was a bit small but otherwise, very nice and clean. Hot breakfast every morning was kept up very good by the staff frequently replenishing items. All staff was very nice. Beautiful hotel and only a short walk from Canal Street to catch the streetcars. Would stay here again if back in the area.

Not much to complain about here. A very cool open concept warehouse-type building completely renovated. Open lobby concept. The staff could not have been kinder and more helpful. Room was 1BR King and was very clean and spacious. Only window looks out to lobby atrium making the back bedroom much like a cave. That being said, that cave is your only bastion away from the breakfast noise echoing up the atrium from the breakfast crowd clanking around downstairs early in the morning. I like the value... Great location near the French Quarter. We were able to walk to most places. Great price. Comfortable bed. Very friendly staff. There were a few negatives. The breakfast room was chaotic and understaffed. There wasn't enough seating and they ran out of almost everything including cutlery. The room had an inconvenient layout. We couldn't see the TV from the bed and the pull to close the curtains was hidden in the corner behind an armchair.
