"This hotel worked out perfectly for the little amount of time we actually spent in our rooms. Very comfortable bed! The bathroom was very small with no place for toiletries etc. The location is great! Close to French market, Riverwalk, and a few blocks from Bourbon Street. No need for a car as everything is within walking distance. Front desk personnel could be a lot more friendly and accommodating. Our booking and rate included a special deal for the hop on hop off bus tour which they knew nothing about. Oh well... Got around just fine without it."

"This was my first trip to New Orleans and it was my birthday. I called the hotel twice in advance and was very specific to the room I booked and was sure to confirm I had two beds with a view. Due to it being the weekend before Halloween, their prices had sky rocketed and I had to pay an extra $200 fee for this room. Upon arrival they told me I was to be put in a one king bed room, smoking, without a window! I was furious. On top of that, their advertised weekend parking of $25 a night was now $35 without warning (even though every sign in the lobby still said $25). After a long argue with the receptionist, I was finally put in another room but NOT the room I had paid for and confirmed twice. They put me in a claustrophobic inside room with no window. The staff was in no way firendly, nor did they offer anything for their mistake. It was a terribly stressful arrival after a 7 hour drive. Though it is a good location, if good customer service is what you also seek do not expect to get it here!!"

"I used the valet service and they side swipe my vehicle when leaving, did not help with luggage even with a tip. No service orientation. Front desk gave me another guest reciept and it was $50 less per night for the same time than I was given. Not very happy with the whole experience.

"This was our first trio to New Orleans and overall it was a pleasant experience. However one major disappointment was the cleanliness of our room. The bathroom floor was so dirty, that when I put my foot on the tub after my shower, it left a large black spot! The sheets also had stains on them. I can only imagine what the room would look like under a black light! I don't think we would stay here again unless I could be guaranteed a much cleaner room. We even tipped the maid the first morning unaware of the dirt that was in the room. It wasn't until the bathroom incident, that we realized the overall cleanliness of the room was quite disgusting. We never said anything to the staff because we felt it really wouldn't make a difference."

"This hotel was perfect! My husband and I went to New Orleans to celebrate our anniversary, but didnt want to spend too much money. The style of the hotel is modern, which I love. The valet service is definately a plus. The most wonderful thing about it, though was its location. No matter where we were in downtown New Orleans, our hotel was in walking distance. I always felt safe, even at late hours of the night."
