"The hotel is accommodating. the rooms were a little stuffy but overall it was decent for the price. Restaurant connected directly to the hotel and the rooms were clean. Front desk staff was very friendly. Very close to Xavier Univerrsity and French Quarter."

"I wis somewhat disconcerted when my reservation could not be found when I arrived. It took several minutes to finally find it. Then I was told the double we had reserved was not available and we were put in a king. I don't know how this was possible since reservations were made several weeks prior to our trip. The carpet in the hall was mildewy as was some of the baseboard areas in the bathroom. The shower curtain was ripped in several areas. Bath soap was not refreshed in the 3 nights we were there leaving us with a sliver of soap by the end of our stay. We were at the very back of the hotel and the doors leading outside were never locked leaving us feeling quite insecure. This was compounded by the fact that we could not reach the front desk from the phone in our room. Whenever we needed anything we had to walk a considerable distance to the hotel lobby to speak to a staff member. Also, the elevator in the back hall was broken. I would certainly not stay there in the future!"

"I have NEVER had a experience like this before. The night staff just seemed very careless while checking us in. Did not greet properly. Our room had exposed wires on the AC unit. The sheets on the fold out couch were DIRTY. They had hair on them from the person who stayed before. Our room was right beside the doors that led our the back of the hotel. The doors were not locked like they were suppose to be. We felt very unsafe. The morning front desk lady was better then the night crew. I spoke with her and she did move our room for the 2nd night we stayed. The 2nd room was better then the 1st but the fold out couch had NO sheets on it so once AGAIN we had to go and ask for clean sheets. Also the bottom floor had mildew on the carpet against the walls. The upper floors were better. My family and I will NOT stay here again."

"Upon arrival there was a mistake on arrival date and was told at first that I had no reservation. However though everything was cleard up in a very nice and accomadating manner. The young man at the desk was super nice even dispite the fact that he was having a bad day. Overall I was very pleased with my stay."
