This is a lovely hotel with a warm welcome and a good location. The rooms are very comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. The room had good views over the river. The shower was good and the rooms clean. The buffet breakfast was good in the morning. Also the bar was pleasant and a reasonable well priced range of drinks. It is also just 5 minutes walk to the Outback for a steak on a night.

First, the location in Lafayette is on a main road which can be really busy on pic hours. It took us once 20mns to drive less than 10kms for a restaurant in the area. The rest is standard, service friendly and professional, the 3 lifts were working correctly, and the bar was animated and serving good stuff. The breakfast buffet is ok for a fair price, the second day we found a local dinner a bit better. We slept well, we visited the area (we got a good tip for boat tour from the front desk), we ... The price was great and location. I have stayed at this hotel many times and the price can vary from stay to stay depending on what is going on in the city. I used the fitness which is great and they club just off the lobby for people wanting some night life. I didn't use the restaurant so I cannot comment on the food. There are some good restaurants in the area though. Just ask at the front desk.

Came into town for a wedding, great clean accommodations. Only complaint was that only one staff member at the time was aware of information on the shuttle taking us to the wedding and she was nowhere to be found, made for many confused wedding guests in the lobby.

My sons and I spent two nights at the Doubletree recently. The staff was wonderful. The room was neat, appeared newly furnished and in great shape. The housekeeping staff was incredible- very thorough (which I especially appreciated). The room service menu is a bit limited, but the food was decent. There are also a number of fast food restaurants (Subway, Pizza Hut, etc) within walking distance. The Doubletree is located on one of Lafayette's busier streets- so sometimes merging into street tra... Read more

The hotel is confortable and in a great location for doing business in Lafayette. Food service is very good and easy to get to. The hotel has a large parking lot and is easy to maneuver even large vehicles in.

The lobby is under construction; so registration was set up in a conference room. It was raining and there was no where to unload and enter hotel without getting soaked. The staff was very nice and had bottles of water waiting for Hilton Honors customers. My room had 2 queens, small bathroom, desk & chair, additional chair for relaxing and end table. I was in room 317 which overlooked the pool and river....very pleasing view. Wifi but no fridge or microwave. It would have been nice to have... Read more

Traveled on business to Ladayette, I choose the Doubletree because I normally get good service from the Hilton family chain. Everything was good except for overnight stay. After waking up the next morning, I had serious back pains. The mattress is long overdue to be changed out. The rest of the stay was pleasant and the staff was very nice. The location was great with plenty of amenities nearby.

We stayed here for one night while attending a concert at the Cajun Dome. Staff was friendly, room was clean, and the bar was nice with good drinks. Only bad thing was the food at the bar. We're from Louisiana and this was not good seafood at all. They need to get it together in the kitchen. Other than that, it was a great experience!

Weekend stay. Spacious, comfortable room. Nicely arranged furniture. Nicely designed decor. Numerous amenities including a shiny metal ice bucket (no cheap plastic here), a coffee pot, a safe, big screen television, alarm clock, luxurious towels, super soft wash cloths). Slept like a baby. Convention space was incredible. Wonderful lighting and decor. Chairs were very comfortable. Easy to maneuver through the hall. Bath rooms were sparkling clean. Banquet dinner was served quickly and everybody... Read more

standard hilton hotel: regular rooms, lobby, nice personnel. good for a one noght stay in lafayette as i doubt you can find better . only drawback was yesterday night baseball teams stayed in , and they were very unpleasant, occupying lobbies and corridors during the night, playing in front of people's door, very noisy and uneducated. apart from that nice view from our room, check the picture

Nice hotel, overall very clean and in good shape. My complaints are the clerk who checked us in wouldn't give us coupons for diamond level breakfast or evening snacks, even though we were on the diamond level floor! She was NOT trained well at all. I could've thrown a fit with management, but two other clerks were at desk and they didn't seem to think it was important. Also, shower curtain had mold on it. Would stay here again if I had to travel for business there, because there's not a lot to c... Read more

Spent one night here. Quiet and comfortable. Close to some great restaurants. Friendly and attentive staff. Coffee maker in room. Bed was very comfortable and overall the room and bathroom were one of the better in this price range, and hotel was quiet.

Don't let the drive in fool you. Waze took us through sketchville. Once here, this is the clean, safe and soft sheeted hotel everyone is looking for in a family vacation. The bathrooms are a little on the small side, especially for 2 at a time like when brushing kids teeth. Breakfast was worth it!

The pool was great! Hotel staff was very nice. Decent hotel room as far as space and cleanliness. We stayed at this hotel again on the way back home because we were pleased with our experience. Unfortunately the room was not as clean the second time around. Looks like they may have been in a hurry & missed some things, but it wasn't horrible. We would stay here again.

In an area which can be overrun with traffic at times, this DoubleTree offers a welcome bit of peace and seclusion in the midst of the city on Pinhook. Easy to get in and out onto Pinhook and close to the airport. Friendly staff and several dining options in house, and clean and comfortable rooms. I like.

We came in & stayed during all the flooding that was going on in Louisiana. The hotel is nice, walked in & piano was being played. The first room they put us in had a toilet that was making sounds & not flushing well. They moved us to another room. The next room was about the same, nice, clean. Beds were incredibly comfortable.

In a time that our family has lost so much, we were able to find comfort and relief at the DoubleTree on Pinhook. The rooms were impeccably clean and the service was outstanding. Stephan took care of us and gave us a great rate for our time there. DoubleTree is actually offering "flood rates" for families affected by the flood in Acadiana, and we couldn't be more appreciative of their consideration. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This hotel was spectacular, I would highly recommend this hotel. I arrived at the hotel about 3 hours before the 4pm check-in time and I was able to check in early with no issues the gentlemen at the front desk was very courteous and helpful. When I walked in my room was shocked at how nice it was, because I was on the executive level I was able to enjoy the complimentary hot breakfast in the morning - which was great because that was one less than I had to worry about or pay for, I was unable t... Our recent stay at the Hilton Doubletree in Lafayette, LA was the exception in hotel accommodations. The room was exceptionally clean and well appointed as was the lobby. We thoroughly enjoyed our short, but pleasurable stay

I normally don't stay in Lafayette but with the floods it was easier to stay here vs drive back to New Orleans. Vey nice lobby, bar area and room. Bar staff was extremely nice, food and drink were good but did seem a little pricy for the location. I would recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Whether working in Lake Charles or Baton Rouge I always book my stay here at the DoubleTree in Lafayette. There are excellent restaurants within walking distance. Plus, my favorite restaurant The Blue Dog Cafe is right down the street. Upon my arrival at the Hotel there is always someone at the font door to assist with my luggage and the font desk are always smiling and willing help.

Room was on the 12th floor overlooking the river. Hotel was busy but staff always had smiles and said hello. Front desk staff very helpful and nice. Cookies great. Seemed that the hotel may have been full...there was a convention in town. Stayed on a Friday night and there was some guest noise in the hallway very late but nothing the hotel could have done about that. I would stay here again.

This is our favorite place to stay in Lafayette. The staff is always friendly and efficient. We like the river view room which is large enough for a roll-away bed as well. Even with a young girl's soccer tournament in the area, the service was excellent.

The DoubleTree is a great hotel for the price. It sits on the Vermillion River providing some rooms with a unique river view. The hotel was clean and quiet and the staff was very friendly. I did not personally eat in the attached restaurant, but I heard the food was delicious!

Nice hotel but needed a few tweaks to small things. Mainly cosmetic and some small maintenance items. Overall okay. Thought the rates were high but most hotels have gone up so I could let this slide. Could recommend if someone was visiting the Lafayette area.

We stayed here for 5 nights on a tour of Cajun country. Clean room, comfy beds and enjoyed stay because of large lobby, restaurant, club and friendly bar. Breakfast buffet was very good and being able to order food anytime was also a plus. Pool area was very nice with patio sitting area facing a river. Valet helps with luggage and friendly staff. This place is obviously built to handle large tour groups & conventions, as there are several floors for this purpose and a busy lobby. Hotel has... Read more

Lafayette has a lot of historical attractions nearby. We visited the Orphan Train Museum. In some ways it was a bit of a shock and very sad. It was heartening to see the degree to which the history of this era is being preserved and how people still cling to the stories. I'm really glad we visited Had dinner in the BluDog that is a story, too. The food is very generous. Our room key at the DoubleTree entitled us to either corn-crab chowder or bread pudding. Checked in with minimal fuss, bother or fanfare. Bellman took my luggage up, I was free to go drink. The barman was pleasant, knew how to mix my drink, JD Black on ice, and didn't keep bugging me on refills. I'm a sipper so refills are sometimes a problem in a bar. The overall property is clean and outside amenities are well groomed. My room was clean, bed just firm enough. BUT, like all hotels, the pillows are for propping yourself up to watch TV. They are so big that if you lay with you... Read more
