The heart of Acadiana…Welcome to the brand-new Hampton Inn and Suites of Lafayette. Hotel is centrally located to many of the area businesses, attractions, restaurants and the Lafayette.

Two things define Lafayette: their music and their food. Sure, they have a pretty downtown, some fabulous museums and a big historic plantation or two. But if you don`t try some gumbo, an oyster po`boy or perhaps a little boudin while you`re staying at their hotel in Lafayette... if you don`t do a little line dancing or hear a guy make music out of a No. 6 washtub and broom... well, then, you haven`t really experienced Lafayette.

At The Hampton Inn and Suites Lafayette, they`re passionate about taking good care of you, that`s why they offer a broad range of services and amenities to make your stay exceptional.

Accommodation Details

Once you arrive at the hotel, you`ll find a lot of great amenities waiting for you in your room. Need to get some work done? They offer free high-speed internet access in every guest room. Prop your laptop on the handy lap desk and type away while you watch TV. Or simply listen to your favorite kind of music by pressing one of the preset buttons on your room`s alarm clock. When you`re ready for some rest, hunker down for the night in their comfiest amenity yet, the clean and fresh Hampton bed.

Meetings & Conventions

Whether you`re planning a corporate meeting or need accommodations for a family reunion or your child`s sporting group, they`re delighted to offer you easy planning and booking tools to make the process quick and organized.

Evangeline Downs and Jungle Gardens sit about a half-hour from here. This hotel in Lafayette is right off Highway 90, so it`s easy to get to just about any place in town from their location-which is a good thing since you have a lot of food to eat and dancing to do. Because it`s not until you live their music and taste their cuisine in Lafayette, that you`ll truly understand the heart of Acadiana.

Started using hamptons this vacation. Staff was great. Hotel was closeto the restaurants and music. Central to roadways heading to the coast or Avery island or lake Charles. Definitely would stay there again

This Hampton was tired and the rooms were in need of some repairs and touch up. Tile was missing in the bathroom and wallpaper was loose. The internet was not usable at all. I had to use my phone for access. I would not stay at the Lafayette Hampton Inn on S. College again and I would not recommend it to a friend.

If you need wifi, don't stop here. From the fourth floor I was told to go outside to get a signal. They moved my room and that did not help. Called the help desk several times. Kept on hold, wasted an hour messing around to get wifi.

Hotel shuttle to and from airport and very timely. Driver friendly. Easy access into hotel. Staff very friendly and rooms were very clean and quiet. Continental Breakfast is your usual buffet style. Plenty of parking if you are driving in. I liked the fact that i could check in for my room ahead of my arrival and pick the room I wanted. So when i arrived I showed ID and off I went with my key right to my room. Nice feature after a long day of traveling.

Hampton Inn & Suites Lafayette is about 4-minute drive to Lafayette Regional Airport which is so convenient for our group. The property is clean inside and out. Rooms are decent in size. All the staff we encountered are pleasant and helpful. I loved their decor and color motif of the guest lounge. Elevators are also clean. Our mission groups have stayed at this hotel on few occasions whenever we travel to do our mission work for UMCOR at Baldwin near Franklin. I highly recommend this hotel... Read more

I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Very clean and the staff were great! The breakfast was very good! Hated that it was only for one night. Came in late around 1200 am and they welcomed me and said they were waiting for me. I will be back!

This is a great place to stay. Outstanding staff who remembered us on succeeding days. Breakfast very nice - even hot oatmeal (as well as the inevitable grits). Nice "managers cocktail party" with enough food for dinner on some nights.

People were partying by the pool until 1am. We complained to the night manager 3 times, who said he would shut it down. He never did and found out upon check-out the pool doesn't close at 10pm (as posted everywhere - wall plaques, pamphlets, etc). That just means no kids by themselves (NOT posted). The pool gate doesn't even lock!

Hotel was nice, clean and staff was friendly. Except our room, our fridge was turned off (ruined all of our food), toilet wouldnt stop running (even after someone came to fix it) the internet was not showing up on the Andriod or Apple device, and the the shower is tricky to work. (Make sure to pull down on the faucet) Located in a safe neighborhood, and lots of places to eat around the corner.

This hotel is a little off the beaten path but is in a quiet location and not hard to find. We stayed for one night and would just say that it was an average hotel. The staff was very pleasant and helpful and the rooms were fine except the air conditioning is hard to regulate in the room. Slept like a baby though. The breakfast was average for a Hampton and above average other wise. It was good and the seating area is large and comfortable. The hotel has wifi but it was off and one and gen... Read more

The rooms did not smell, the decor was modern, and up to date. Beds and bedding were very comfortable. Bathroom size was good with nice large counter, but weird that the facing was cut out for the sink, leaving an unattractive hole. Also there was no drain stopper for the sink, which drained slowly. The water was hot immediately and it was a nice powerful shower stream. Breakfast was good, but eggs and sausage got cold immediately once on the table either due to being seated directly below an A/C vent or not being hot enough to start with. I liked the var... Hampton hotels are my preference and the Hampton at Lafayette continued to provide great service. After a long day of traveling we stopped here before starting home the next day. There was a party going on with a lot of people in and around lobby. One obviously intoxicated man was drinking outside hotel trying to start up conversations with others. Aside from that, the hotel was well decorated, beds very comfortable, and large rooms. Very soft towels. Toilet was very loud and it took several attempts to engage free internet. There was also a $25.00 incidentals charge when we checked in.

This is an older property with slightly dated room decor. The bed was a bit soft and could do with being replaced. With this in mind our inclination would have been to give it a 3 rating, however we have chosen to give it 4 for the reasons below. The property is situated in a quiet leafy area giving it a nicer feel than usual as the more modern properties are usually surrounded by concrete and other buildings. Invest in multiple waffle makers, one isn't enough for the size of the hotel. Have better fresh fruit and real eggs for breakfast. Add a microwave to the breakfast area to give costumers the ability to heat up the cold food, or melt butter.

Average hotel. Breakfast average. Gym was very small and had only a few pieces of equipment, no towels. Initially I was in a nice suite, but the air was not working. After maintenance came twice, they switched me to another room, which was not as nice. When I mentioned that the room I was given was not as nice, I was told they only have one nice suite, which I had been in. So I could choose either a room with no air or the one I was in. It was average.

We love Hampton Inns and always try to stay at one in our travels. We checked in here and our first room had broken controls on the air conditioner. We went to the second room and the bathroom had broken tiles and the bathroom sink drained extremely slowly. So sad because we stayed in one in Pueblo, Colorado and thought it was outstanding. Maybe in the south you just can't expect very much, this one would definitely be at the bottom of our list.

A/C unit cannot be adjusted to work with DUVET covers provided. IF set to COLDEST---A/C cuts down in the middle of the night (to save energy I imagine) and you wake up sweating. If set to medium or cool and you use only the sheet you freeze until it cuts itself down about 3 am or so. Other than that issue---everything else very good value.
