Not to much to say about this hotel. This was not a planned stay but we spent a night here because of weather related delays in Houston. The room we were given was well equipped with a microwave and a small refrigerator. The bed was comfortable. What stood out, was the front desk willingly providing us with necessary toiletries because we were separated from our luggage. We had to wait about 20' at the airport for the van which runs about every half-hour. It is advised to call upon arrival... Read more

Airport location, with a very friendly staff and a warm cookie at check in. Sheldon White is the best driver, will bring you to any nearby restaurant, super dinning suggestions- just ask! Recommend Harbour Seafood for a family style local dinning experience.

Traveling on business and all the hotels in New Orleans were either way over priced, or no vacancy. I have always seen this property, but never stayed. I am so glad that I stayed here and will make this property a favorite when in new orleans again.

I recently booked parking here on airportparking.com . I found this to be inexpensive, secure, and very convenient. They offer a free airport shuttle, round the clock. The staff is very welcoming and helpful. Highly recommend.

The rooms were dated and the beds were small. I wasn't informed that I had to tell front desk staff to turn off long distance I thought they would know that given the fact it was a lot of kids and teenagers in town for a basketball and softball tournament. They changed our group rate but then allowed the long distance to stay active in the rooms. Surprise no savings here.

Only thing I didn't like is it doesn't offer breakfast as part of the stay. The prices to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner is very expensive. Double tree is the only Hilton Honors that charges you to eat.

This is by no means a resort but gets the job done when you're in town for events or quick trips. Hotel is starting to show its age but rooms were good. Nothing spectacular but clean and had the essentials. Walls are a bit then so be warned if you're a light sleeper. Note that you do have to pay for parking but it's nice to know your car is within a gated area. Keep in mind also that this is an airport hotel so during the day you will hear planes almost every 10 mins.

We stay with Hilton Points and this has a "low" point price. It is handy to the airport and to Hwy 10. Neighborhood has lots of choices for restaurants in a wide range of prices. Great restaurant is Harbor Seafood close by. However! The hotel lacks some good maintenance. They have a lot on premises with gates that are iffy! If you leave and return, you need to go desk for a validation each time. Back gate leading into hotel is unsecured and does not latch. Lots of minor things could use... Read more

Jessica and Kindra were the highlight of my stay! These two customer service agents provided excellent and professional service, the kind of service that I have come to recognize as the epitome of the Double Tree by Hilton brand! They accommodated every single request with kindness and a smile. Thank you ladies for making my stay pleasant and worry free.

The rooms are small but the beds are super comfy. Checked in after hours of travel to be greeted by great customer service reps, Kindra and Jessica. They were super helpful and accommodating. The on-site restaurant is also a convenient perk. Would highly recommend this hotel for the business traveler.

From the moment we arrived, it was a lovely experience. The lobby is pretty, we were given warm cookies that were amazing. Our room was very clean, pretty, modern and comfortable. I will definitely be back.

Great service! We checked in.. It was my daughter's birthday and Kendra at the front desk ordered a fabulous dessert and Michael from the restaurant surprised her. Delivered it and sang Happy Birthday! They went above and beyond!! Enjoyed our short visit very much!

Upon arrival I gave them my name and stated I had a reservation. The person could not find my reservation so I handed them my printed reservation which she then looked again then went to hand it to someone else who then took it in the back of the counter. I had to sit while I waited from someone to get back to me. I said did you find my reservation and she said "oh we got you in a room and I'll give you a micro fridge since you are staying for 4 nights" ...note that my original reservation al... Read more

The staff made our stay! The room itself had an unpleasant smell, however the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean. The bathroom was extremely small, but I did enjoy the amenities. Those cookies they pass out are delicious!

Rooms didn't smell clean, rooms were small, parking charge was an addition to the high nightly rate, the pool water had debris floating and tiki bar was never opened. Great location which is right off the interstate.

Beds are only doubles; no queens in hotel. Parking was extra, breakfast was extra, staff was not very responsive. Price extra for quality would have been better at Holiday Inn chain for this particular location and venue.

The hotel was OK, staff courteous, room clean, but nothing special. They do however charge guests $8.00 to park and this is ridiculous. There is a Holiday Inn Express near by which is just as good a hotel and does not charge for parking.

Check in was simple - you have to pay for parking ? They should just put in the price ! Rooms were average at best - a little out dated! The price was good but it's a good 20 minutes from French quarters and more if traffic is bad

I stayed at this hotel during Essence festival weekend, this is when hotel prices are EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE. I got this room w/double beds for $360 for the whole weekend of Essence. Although all of the festival events are in the convention center and the superdome. This location was only 15 mins away and I saved on the expensive hotels, that ran my cousin, $900 for the weekend.

Close to the airport. Good shuttle service (free local calls available at the Airport Transportation Center if needed). Rooms as such are fine. However, the bathroom is really (and I mean really!) small. Air conditioning can be noisy at times. In-room dining menu seems to have more options than the menu at the restaurant.

It may be average but one of the better places near the airport. The carpet in the room was showing wear and the shower just plan sucked. Water dripped out of it and as I said it sucked. Also the window was broken and wouldn't shut making the room humid and adding noise. I fail to understand why housekeeping would report it, I did. Also they failed to put shampoo in the bathroom. Beds are good and better than most hotels these days. Front desk staff was very pleasant.

With the exception of the air conditioner being loud and early breakfast not being setup on time my stay was excellent. The staff did everything they could to ensure a quality stay. The area that the hotel is in is convenient to many things and points of interest. The parking is sufficient for the hotel. Did not go to the pool but the bar was pleasant .

Hotel generally clean, but bring ear plugs. AC noisy. Also, be sure to check your bill. There might be added charges such as room service not ordered. Lastly, be sure to figure the added parking charge per night that never used to exist.

We had a youth church event here in New Orleans and we stayed here for two nights. We felt welcomed and safe. The hotel staff was warm, hospitable, and was ready to help us with anything. Kindra and Jessica were amazing at the front desk too! They were patient with us and so kind to us. If we are ever back in New Orleans, we will definitely stay here again!

The hotel staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would stay there again. The location of the hotel is very close to the airport but not so close that I heard planes take off or land. It is extremely easy to get to and from the airport in 8 minutes or less and the hotel offers a free shuttle. The hotel is also very close to the interstate so getting back and forth from downtown was also extremely easy.

Hotel was clean. Desk staff and room staff were very good. Hotel room was excellent. Great wifi. Nice hotel. Great location to airport, other restaurants and to downtown New Orleans. Parking was free and the hotel was plenty big to handle needs. Resturant in hotel was good and food was good.

Overall this was a good hotel. I didn't have any issues. The room was clean but a little dated. 2 issues in the room, the drain in the shower was closed so the water built up in the tub and the light switch on the desk lamp didn't work. Other than that the beds are nice, shower was decent and the room service food was ok. Parking is 8.00 a little high though...

Booked this hotel for some friends traveling down to New Orleans. Room is about a 15-20 minute drive to New Orleans, and is in a good location. The young lady at the front service desk was very rude to us when we checked in, and very short. Parking was not 100% explained to us, so we were very confused with our parking situations. The room was NOT clean, our pillow cases had black stains all over them, and the bathroom did not have a full roll of toilet paper when we checked in.
