I went to this hotel to check it out before I booked rooms for my family coming in from out of state for my sons graduation. I was especially interested in the handicapped room set up to accommodate my mother. The staff where friendly and helpful. Check in was easy. The rooms were clean and roomy. Breakfast area was clean, the food was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly

This hotel is in a great area between Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Also it is very close to a lot of the industries in the area. This hotel always exceeds my expectations. Book early because it goes fast.

We recently stayed at the Hampton for my granddaughters graduation. The staff there are super friendly from the moment you walk in 'til you walk out. Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, hot breakfast (very good), and close to the Tangier outlet mall. There are plenty of restaurants nearby from fast food to really good seafood. A major factor for us was that it was right off the I-10 highway (very easy to get off and on). All in all you couldn't ask for a better experience. Our room was not ... Read more

Hotel was clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. I was only there for one night, but would definitely stay there again if ever back in Gonzales. The staff was friendly. Lobby was clean. I don't have any negatives to point out. Overall a pleasant experience.

Hotel is just off freeway, but still quiet. Situated between Baton Rouge and New Orleans and across the street from an outlet mall and with several close by restaurants of the national chain level. A clean hotel with standard Hampton Inn breakfast - included in the price of room. Staff exceeded in all areas - quick with a smile, very friendly and willing to assist.

Very good service and facilities are expected when you book with Hampton, The Gonzales, LA was not an exception. Friendly faces greet you upon check in,clean, rooms, plush pillows and a very nice bed awaits. In the morning a hot breakfast insures you are ready for what the day may bring and a warm smile upon check out.

Check in and check out were slow. Beds were Nic, shower was subpar. Gym was awful...84 degrees when I first went in. Breakfast was sub par. Location was great. Probably will look to stay at an alternate hotel in the area during my next stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Gonzales, LA. Friendly helpful staff. Clean room. Indoor pool was nice. Walking distance to several eating establishments. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

The only reason I picked this hotel over several others was the fact that the description for this room(420)stated it had a whirlpool tub. First problem with it was that the water pressure for the tub was extremely low. It took close to an hr to get it semi filled(all jets submerged). This was only accomplished by using the ice container and filling it with water from the sink in the half bath and dumping water into the tub to speed up the process. Only to find out the jets didn't work, once ... Read more

Great frontdesk staff, Travis specifically, very helpful and accommodating. The problem was dirty sheets & rooms. My room was never vacuumed during my 30 day stay. The sheets were rarely replaced. Had to complain to the frontdesk to have housekeeping replace my sheets. Did not feel their slogan of "clean sheets every time!"

Nice rooms, friendly staff. Room service seems to be done on a lottery basis. Wifi would have been more reliable if they had provided me with 2 cans and a string. Large room, but TV was small and 17 feet away from the head of the bed making it difficult to watch for its size.

Great hotel with good staff, many restaurants around to choose from, clean and well maintained. Near an outlet shopping center. Rooms are clean and very quiet at night. the gentlemen who checked me in (Travis) was kind and knowledgeable.

We booked the room at the last minute and felt the rooms, service, and amenities were far superior to any other hotel in the area for the price. The only problem was an error in the deal package stating a 2:30 checkout.

We were traveling across Louisiana when we became trapped due to rising flood waters. We found the hotel by accident and were very glad we did. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the hotel was clean, the room was excellent and the mattress and pillows were great for sleeping!

Great for a 1 night stay. Convenient access to I-10 and the outlet mall. Beds were super comfy and AC was on point! Bathroom was also nice and well stocked. The tub was nice and deep. Also extremely quiet considering how close to the interstate.

I spent some time at this hotel while in the area for business in Baton Rogue. You're a little out of the way from the action further up I-10. However, the hotel is clean and restful with a standard breakfast. If no closer hotel to the city is available, this is a good property.

My stay was great! My family was displaced after the flood in Baton Rouge, LA and we stayed here for about a month and a half. The entire staff was so friendly and helpful. They were very attentive to our needs even though the hotel was nearly at full capacity. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The only downside was there was no microwave in the room but one was available in the breakfast area. And the breakfast was amazing. They switched it up all the time and it was good. The good includes excellent breakfast--good cut up fruit, waffles, french toast sticks, oatmeal, and the rest; very comfortable bed; lots of tv stations. The bad includes the shower--very low shower head and weak pressure; room could be updated. I'd stay here again though given the scarcity of Baton Rouge hotels due to flood victims.

This was a great location for the region with numerous restaurants and outlet shopping across the street. The staff was friendly and accommodating, offering recommendations on places to eat. The complimentary breakfast was perfect and had a variety of items, that changed daily. The room was clean and cool (important in Louisiana). Internet was sufficient for business. Outlet mall is across the street. I'll return next time I am in the area.Thank you!

This hotel is filthy, I can not believe that Hilton puts their name on this hotel! Motel 6 would have been better! Carpet worn, torn and stained very badly. Furniture is stained so bad I would not sit on them. Had a 2 room suite, no spoons, forks or knifes , no bowls, plates, or glasses. Had to go buy paper bowls and plastic spoons to have cereal. Hardly no water pressure, took a hour to fill tub! We are Hilton Honor travelers, but not no more! Hello Marriott! Next time!

This hotel is by far the best value in the Gonzalez, LA area. Great location, great service. I have stayed at many of the hotels in the area and the Hampton Inn has provided the overall best value. Additionally, the hotel is surrounded by many, walkable restaurants and bars

Love the room and location but price was high due to Lsu game. We would stay again but wish they wouldn't increase price because of Lsu game. The breakfast was good but they were out of a few things. She replaced them as fast as she could.

This hotel is so convenient to shopping and resturants. I picked it and my company paid for it solely because I love the Hilton chain. This is not typical of that chain. This hotel does not seem like any in the Hilton family I have ever stayed in. My room was not clean. The walls are scuffed and stained. The carpet is dirty and the floor in the bathroom was off putting. The sink vanity was not cleaned in a long while. The chair at the desk was covered in what I am praying was syrup. This ruine...
