For $100 a night the bed was good but the musty air coming from the air conditioner reminded me of a cheap red carpet inn from the 1970's when I was a kid. The breakfast was ok but the wifi was horrible! Had to stand in the bathroom to connect to wifi. Unacceptable overall.

When we checked-in and went to our room the room had not be serviced (i.e., the bed was unmade and the room was disheveled), we returned to the desk for another room. The second room was the same as the first. When we returned to the desk for a third room, we were told we would not be charged if this room was the same. It was not. The third room was acceptable but it did have a heavy musk smell. This experience was very different from our experience with Hampton Inns in the past.

Room was nice size and clean. The room had a very strong mildew smell. Had to call front desk at midnight because of the noise above us, nothing ever changed and didn't get much sleep. Before going to bed, toilet backed up, went to front desk and was handed a plunger to do it myself! Asked the night clerk for a late check out and was told that she couldn't say whether we could or could not (she didn't know) and would have to ask the clerk in the morning. I have stayed at this hotel many times and have always been pleased. It is clean, the staff is pleasant and helpful. I am sure I will stay again and would recommend it. My only issue was that there was no "egg" options for breakfast - only french toast - and I prefer a higher protein option. That is the only time that has been the case so it may just be a fluke.

Very clean hotel & extremely friendly staff! We stayed in a king study non smoking room, very comfortable. Showers have excellent pressure! Pull out sofa is even pretty comfy as well. Breakfast was great! Definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed for soccer tournament in Mandeville. Clean, good service and location. Breakfast was complimentary. It was early enough for us to get to our game on time. Well worth it compared to the more expensive hotels in the area. Will stay here again.

For the second time in three months, I traveled to Covington due to my daughter's emergency surgery. At arrival, my stay was indefinite-- and the hotel staff worked with me on a daily basis-- to ensure my needs were met. I'm indebted to all-- for a great job-- well done! Thanks-- Again!

The hotel staff was extremely friendly and the rooms were clean and up to date. The draw back is that there is not enough parking spaces for guests so you have to find somewhere to park if the few spaces they have are taken. The cleaning staff is also kind of loud in the morning, but other than that the hotel is very convenient to shopping and interstate access.

If first impressions are a key... This place has it tied up. My welcome was impeccable Ms Felisa welcomed us and really made me feel at home. She made sure that everything was as it should be The room is fresh and clean and I am a very happy camper!

We have stayed at this site several times when we visit family and have never had any problem. The staff has always been pleasant and the complimentary breakfast very satisfying. The room/bathroom/lobby are clean and attractive. We will definitely stay here again!

I love staying in Hampton Inns all over the country for one reason- they are a phenomenal value! I have now stayed at this Hampton Inn twice now, and the experience has been pleasant both times. The rooms are clean and spacious, the breakfast buffet is nice, and the hotel is located right off the main highway in Covington. It was easy to find restaurants etc close by. This is my new go-to hotel when I visit Covington!!

Clean up Coventon location. Lower the rate at Pensacola. Tampa is a model of excellence. Previous stay in Tampa 2015 was nice and pleasant in the Hilton. We prefer clean rooms, and normally pay for the antisipated best from Hampton are Hilton's.

This is the best place to stay it's close to everything and has a outdoor pool and the staff are happy to help you and make you feel welcome. We were here for a funeral and had driven 8 hours from Little Rock . Hilton honor members get free wifi in the rooms , hot water to shower comes immediately and the water pressure was amazing. Coffe maker in room was good plus we had a fridge AV worked great nobody running down the halls we really loved it

We stayed here on our way home from vacation. Check-in was quick. There was an issue with our initial room and we were moved to another room with no hassle. The staff was very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and happy. Breakfast was plentiful and good. Checkout was easy.

Loved everything about this motel. Bedding - all of it including bed covers were fresh and clean. Comfortable beds and good breakfast. Very helpful staff from Chechnya in and out to breakfast. Would surely stay again.

We never had bath or pool towels, the pool was not clean, a chlorine tablet was thrown in the pool to keep it cleaned. Bathroom room sink was clogged and not fixed till the day before we left. Could use more and bigger tables for breakfast.

Area was nice, traffic was busy, spending time in New Orleans for the day, hotel was quiet and very comfortable beds... Went to Don's Seafood restaurant and had dinner Friday night. Atmosphere was great, service fantastic, price was reasonable, plenty of food. Saturday we went to New Orleans spend the day, enjoyed a carriage ride, rode the trolley all day for $3, late lunch at Royal House, food and service fabulous

Room smelled bad. Found a partial cup of coffee in room. Was it even cleaned. Mildew on ceiling of bathroom. Desk clerk was dealing with a homeless person when we arrived so; we had to wait and then hear about it from the desk clerk.

Reserved three rooms for three nights, left all three after one night - would have left earlier be we got in late. Rooms were given to my married daughters (different last names) without checking identity. Keys were remade - again without checking identity - just a simple "I need a key for room 216" - scary.

Hard to find off the main highway, a simple sign with arrow would help with locating hotel. You think you are traveling into a dead end, poor lighting on road and must drive around bends in road at night in the dark, hotel is hard to find.

Excellent stay. Very friendly staff. Exercise room very clean as were rooms and breakfast area. Would definitely recommend it. Pool looked well maintained but we were unable to use it due to rain. Staying at HHonors again next month

Pillows are awful. Internet access not accessible. Door had to be hit or kicked to open. Had to be jerked shut. Hotel is also in an odd location. I would of never known it was there if it wasn't for my GPS because you feel as if you are going down a dead end road.

the hotel place is just next to the highway and nice room hotels. as I remember, it has 4 level and nice rooms, and has outdoor swimming pools just next to the hotel entrance door. for breakfast also nice, with some options. over all is good and clean hotel

Loved the stay, feels like home away from home. Staff are wonderful, everything perfect...I have stayed every time in Houston. Breakfast is great and even enjoy the ducks walking outside! Rooms are spacious and bathroom vanities very user friendly.

Room was musty smelling and beds were horrible and a/c was noisy. More like a econolodge. Not Hampton quality Roads in and out were inconvenient and haphazard. I will not stay in this hotel again and I can not understand Hampton Headquarters allowing their name on this building.

Unbelievably poor service! Mildew, smell, the wrong room and then they over charged my credit card. If I had not been so incredible tired I would have left and gone in search of another hotel. Quite honestly my jeep might have been better.

Everyone was friendly and we had no complaints about the room, but what stood out was the breakfast buffet. Although it was an off-season Friday morning and there were few other customers, the buffet was complete with fresh cold items, waffle maker, scrambled eggs, excellent biscuits, and turkey sausages. Be careful when you proceed north on US 190 just north of I-12. The highway signs tell you to proceed north to get to the hotel but they are in error. Take a right at the first traffic light north of I-12 and proceed about 1/4 mile and the hotel is on your left, around a left hand turn. As others have said the rooms have a mildew/musty smell. The sofa in my room had seen better days. The room itself was clean, but it sure felt like the room had seen better days. It definitely did not live up to HI expectations.

I arrive late and was given last room. Love hamptons so no big deal. On way to room I noticed old dirty carpet in halls with bad odor. Once I arrived late and was given last room. The hotel stay was satisfactory. The front desk staff were excellent. The front desk staff were friendly, attentive and made sure they helped you with your needs. The maids could have worked on spending more time in the room behind each guest.

The room looked like one from a 3rd world country, holes in the wall, etc, etc The free breakfast turned out to be a disaster as they never re-stocked empty bowls. I have stayed at this hotel many times, all of the sudden it went from good to lousy. Not sure what happened.

The Friendly and Helpful Staff went above and beyond. Clean comfortable rooms. Easy access to highway. Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Close enough to New Orleans for the fast times yet far enough to enjoy the quiet times.

You pay for what you get. The staff is very friendly, but the hotel has a run-down feeling to it. I didn't spend much time in the hotel, but it was probably better that way. Nothing is actually bad about it, but it's definitely not anything special. Just an average and mid-priced hotel.

The staff were so kind and respectful. The Hotel was very clean. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of food. The staff helped with local dining recommendation and cost effective options. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area

This was probably one of the best hotel experiences I've had recently. Great staff, well kept and very clean rooms with a great complimentary breakfast. There is a Picadilly Cafeteria next door you can walk to for lunch/dinner.

This Hampton just didn't quite deliver like other Hamptons. Hamptons are so similar that it's the little things that differentiate. Our most surprising and disappointing moment was learning that the hotel did not have a washing machine or dryer for guest use. Surprises happen when traveling with children, and access to a laundry is a must-have. My husband and I were driving home from Houston, TX (an 11 hour trip) and were exhausted. We finally found this hotel and it had a few vacancies. We arrived tired and hungry. The check-in process was very fast and the clerk recommended an excellent place for us to eat. Our room was clean and the hall as quiet.

Our room had an unpleasant smell and the bathroom sink did not drain fast enough so it backed up. This problem was not fixed before we checked out. Breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. We will not stay at another Hampton until we see it returning to its previous high quality.

I frequent Hampton Inn properties when I travel and this one is missing the Hampton Inn Standards! The room was quiet, beds were comfortable so for a good night sleep it met the mark. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The lobby and breakfast room was nicely decorated, but our room needed an update! It was clean, but there was a musty odor that met us when we walked in. The tasty breakfast had many choices. The location is at the end of a dark road.

We traveled for a Soccer tournament at Pelican Park Sports Complex in Mandeville. Although this hotel is in Covington, a neighboring town, it was a short drive, approximately 15 minutes, to the sports complex. Thankful for the complimentary breakfast in the morning. Good stay.

Found bed bugs in my bed, hotel manager basically accused me of lying and wanted me to email her a picture, wouldn't refund my night. I'm a HHonors gold member, and corporate handled it perfectly, got me a $350 room comped. I would avoid this hotel at all costs, the franchisee is awful!

I travel a lot and use mainly Hampton Inns. I checked in this hotel There was sweet lady named Kelsea. She was very nice and good worker. After that things went bad. I mean bad. Considering this hotel? Find another one? Four year Diamond member. Stalked in the parking lot by an employee in her vehicle. Mocked me and verbally abused me for traveling with my service animal. Hopefully management takes appropriate action. all they have to do is check their security camera's.
