We stayed at the L'Auberge Casino and Hotel to celebrate a friend's retirement. As soon as we walked into the hotel we were pleased. Upon walking into our rooms, we were ecstatic! The rooms were big, bed was very comfortable. Walked into the bathroom and had another great surprise! Shower was huge! TV in the mirror was a pleasant and wonderful experience! Wish they had a fridge in the room Pool area wash rest for sitting and visiting!! The drink service in the casino was great!!! Only... Read more

One of the top 3 buffets I've eaten at but also the most expensive. seafood galore as well as the staples like pork chops and fried chicken. the staff was very friendly and food was excellent. it is in the casino so it can be a bit smoky - which can be irritating to many. everything I sampled was excellent. the long walk back to the parking lot gives an opportunity to walk off a little after over eating.

We stayed 2 nights (Sun & Mon nights) at the L'Auberge. The property was very welled maintained and the room was extremely clean. The casino and hotel were off the beaten path, thru a questionable area and not near any other attractions so be prepared to eat, play and stay at L'Auberge. Although the parking lot had very few cars (each level and outside) we were assured there were no rooms with a river view available which was disappointing. However, the room was nice and the bathroom spac... Read more

This casino resort is set ten miles outside of baton rouge. Rooms are standard for the price. Players obviously get an upgrade on the rooms. The pool is a big plus with cabanas available for rent starting at $100. Service can be a bit slow on all aspects so be ready to grease some palms.

We were driving through Baton Rouge on our way to Gulf Shores and decided to spend a night at this beautiful casino! The price was a little high for what we wanted to spend but we decided to splurge and we're not disappointed. From check-in to to check out we were treated like family! The hotel manager Al was incredibly nice and one of the friendliest persons we've ever met. During our stay we took time to enjoy the view of the Mississippi River on the patio area and it was breathtaking. Whi... Read more

We stayed here for the weekend.. The Casino Hotel was very nice, clean, friendly staff.. The room was great, except for the heat problem we had.. The thermostat did not work, even after 2 attempts to fix it by Maintenance.. that was the only issue we had.. besides that we had a very nice time

OK, I have stayed at least 3 times in the last month and a half. Upon driving up I am always greeted by my name. Hello Ms Mouton welcome back. Ricky. and the 3 Darius's at valet are awesome. Darius that works at the desk inside took the time while also doing his job to help my sister who was driving from Houston with directions. She was so impress. Joe the bell hop can also be added to list of outstanding. She was also impress with the best host around Ryan Hernandez. Upon check in what can I sa... Read more

Warning to all, let's start by saying the casino was great however the service at this hotel is odd. This hotel has a four diamond rating and is billed as a four star hotel. we arrived in the evening, we were very excited to be staying at this hotel. The first evening my family went to the roof to swim in the pool. I left the room 20 minutes later and realised I left my room key behind in my wallet, big mistake. I'll called down to the front desk to see if someone could come up and let me back i... Read more

Just stayed 1 night on our way to New Orleans but I was very impressed with this hotel. The parking is free, even valet and the front desk staff were great even though we arrived a little early for check in we got our room straight away. What a lovely room with a fab view of the Mississippi River. The room was spacious, bed was comfy and bathroom was huge. Good amenities on site with it being a casino hotel, plenty of places to eat and an amazing pool with bar. There is security for the pool are... Read more

We were in town for one night and thought we would kill some time at the casino. We heard the property is fairly new just two or three years old. Walking into through one of the entrances you could see right off that it was new. Everything was beautiful and modern. The casino isn't large, it's a decent size and the slots were very tight, I guess we just helped contribute to the new property costs. A good selection of all new machines, it was very clean as well. I have been to many casinos acros... Read more

So we've stayed at L'Auberge a few times - the most recent was for our 30th anniversary in January. We booked an Executive Queen room - as always the rooms are very luxe and large in size, beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are nice with large walk in showers, a separate area for the toilet and double sinks with a mirror that has a built in tv. I didn't ask for a room facing the river, so our room faced the parking lot which I thought wasn't going to be much of a view, but I was very su... Read more

This is a great hotel whether or not you gamble. The rooms are nicely decorated and the front desk staff was amazing! Bathrooms are nice and spacious with a beautiful walk in shower area. It is a bit off the beaten path but worth it. I would say that valet needs help early in the morning. It took over 30 minutes to get our car at 7:00 in the morning. Great stay

There is a lot of good about this hotel. The rooms are large and luxurious, so are the bathrooms. The shower is huge with a separate wc. The tv in the mirror is a bonus and great to have while getting ready. The bed is comfortable and the room is nicely decorated. The staff are friendly, it's got good parking and I like the location in south Baton Rouge, away from the downtown area. Dining is great. The Bon Temps buffet is wonderful (choice) although the behind the counter staff are not the best... Read more

This casino is beautiful but small in my opinion. The slots are somewhat tight unless you're a member and I could see a little difference. They have drink stations everywhere and do have free alcohol while you play so that was a plus. There is smoking here which is okay. I wouldnt go out of my way to play here but if you are in the area, it is worth the stop.

The first casino I've ever visited, and it definitely sets the standard high! Very clean, comfortable facility with a fun relaxed atmosphere. The staff was extremely helpful to me and my guests; provided a nice selection of complimentary drinks and endless gambling options! Visited during Independence Day weekend, they had an awesome fireworks display from the rooftop! Will definitely be back!

I really like the rooms at L'Auberge. They are warm and inviting. The decor and ambience are calming and relaxing. The beds are very comfortable with plush mattresses. In the bath area all amenities are provided. The mirrors have inbuilt TV. You can watch the TV as you get primped and dressed. You will get free wifi, bottled water, and coffee. Really nice.

I want to start with the positive. The room was clean and comfy but no hand lotion or shower cap so bring your own. The phone system is bizarre. Try calling the front desk and you get a recording about the entire hotel. However the staff was friendly. The My Choice Casino area told us one price about the buffet and buffet area told another price. But don't eat there. It is not worth 60 dollars.

It's been about a year and a half since we last stayed at the L'Auberge. The hotels is still good to very good but you can tell that revenues are down. Staffing is way down every where. Valet parking is chaotic. They are understaffed and the staff is not well trained. Over all property appearance is going down. Trash is left in walking areas. That never would be seen a year ago. No coffee or cookies by the elevators. Elevators need touching up. Restaurants now close at 10pm instead of 11pm as p... Read more
