I decided to go to the buffet for New Year's day for some blackyed peas and cabbage. They charged me $30 because it was a "Holiday" buffet. The extra food they served for the holiday consisted of peas and cabbage. For that I paid $65 for 2 people. No crab legs or steak or anything. Very disappointing and very over priced. Next time I will just drive the extra 30 minutes and go to Gulfport.

I usually stay at this hotel when visiting Baton Rouge. Unfortunately on this trip my family and I had adjoining rooms and one was infested with lady bugs!!! Upon check in I killed one lady bug and thought nothing of it. After returning to the room a few hours later I realized there were over 10 crawling all over the ceiling. We had to move rooms with a small child at 11:00pm management came to the room took pictures and apologized but that doesn't not make up for the inconvenience of having to ... Read more

This is a great place to stay if you have business at the capitol. You can be downtown in 20 minutes with no traffic by using the river road. Steak house is very good, the casino is excellent, the hotel is clean and quiet, what more could you ask for?

Navigated to the hotel and it's traffic circles without an issue. Once there chose the lane to drive up to the elevated sheltered check in/Valet lanes where someone was already waiting on their guest to return from check-in, blocking the one open lane. Valet cars take up the other two lanes. They offer covered parking as well as ground level parking. Room doors and guest elevators are touch pass operated with your key card.

I recently spent 2 nights at the hotel while in town for a business trip, and I was thrilled with the accommodations. One of the best hotel beds I have found in a while. Very comfortable mattress and bedding. The rooms were well appointed and modern, with television built into the bathroom mirror. That was a new detail for me. The walk in shower was clean and nice.

Me and my husband just needed a night out. We hadn't had one in a while. We had a wonderful time playing in the casino even though we lost more than what we wanted to spend. The buffet was Ok. The room was very clean, cozy and I loved the shower. We look foward to returning again very soon!

My sister and I came down to visit my niece who attends LSU and decided to stay at the hotel. The property is amazing from the architecture to the friendly atmosphere. On our last day there we waited 5 mins outside for our vehicle. The valet runner was standing at his podium playing on his phone. When I ask can he get my vehicle, he sighed as if I was a bother to him; smashes down his phone and yanks my ticket out my hand. I talked to my niece about it later that day and she sent me this article... Read more

My wife and I live in Texas an hour's drive from the Lake Charles casinos and 3hours from your casino. We made our first visit 4 months ago and had a problem. After going home I sent a complaint and received a prompt reply from Sarah Savoy, Guest Experience Manager. I had never intended to return but decided to give it another try and called Sarah for assurance I would not have the same problem. Sarah more than made up for our first trip. The facility, while not as large as L'Auberge in Lak... Read more

L'auberge has a great hotel but I would bypass the one in Lake Charles and visit this one in Baton Rouge. The visit was amazing and everyone was very professional. Our room was clean and the decor was modern and in good shape.

We went there for a business event and were treated so nice. The rooms are so clean. There was even a TV built into the bathroom mirror. We had a great breakfast at the Stadium sports bar because there was no buffet for breakfast. I will definitely be back.
