This is a hotel that absolutely makes you feel at home. The rooms are mini apartments with fully stocked kitchen, living room and bedroom suites. They will even go grocery shopping for you if needed. Tastefully decorated. They provide dinner and breakfast for you in the dining room area. The staff is friendly and make you feel like part of the family. Definitely would stay again.

Our trip was so easy because of the convenience of the hotel. Central location, all the amenities, caring staff who supplied every need as soon as possible. We left with a good feeling about Homewood and our stay.

Although this hotel is a little older and the rooms a little worn, the service was excellent and the suites were PERFECT for a family traveling! The beds were super comfortable and the amenities in the room were great. Like a mini apartment!

I stopped by to get a room when I arrived to town. I was told no non-smoking rooms were available and so I asked the front desk lady (Alisha) if I could use internet to find another hotel. I am Hilton rewards member Silver and had just used the internet at the Embassy Suites down the road to find this hotel. Alisha had quite the attitude and would not allow me to use internet to find a hotel for the night. I spoke w/her manager. She had quite the condescending attitude and probably shouldn't wor... Sharon Huck and Alyshia McAllister were of such great assistance during my stay at Homewood Suites. They are so generous and never had a complaint when I asked for their assistance. These ladies went above and beyond to make sure my family and I were satisfied and comfortable. They made may stay during such a stressful time so much better. I appreciate everything they did to make sure my family and I's stay was the best possible.

I found the front desk lady named Alisha to be outstanding in her job! By the time I arrived, there were only 2 smoking rooms available and I had requested NON-SMOKING through the call center. Somehow, that message failed to convey to the establishment. However, a previous guest had to check out earlier that evening, leaving a NON-SMOKING room. Only one problem, the cleaning staff wasn't so Ms. Alisha volunteered to clean the room - changing the linens, vacuuming, and sanitizing the bathroom... Read more

This was our 4th stay at this property and we couldn't have asked for better service. We chose Homewood Suites because we needed more room than would be provided by a traditional hotel room and find it very helpful to have a separate living space. Every time we have stayed here the hotel has been clean and very well kept. We were provided everything we needed and with a smile.

Everything seemed clean, but worn and dingy. The drapes were torn, the lamp shades were broken, the carpet was stained and had cigarette holes, and the tile floors were slippery/greasy. The staff were very helpful and did a good job with what they had to work with, but I would not stay here again

We first became acquainted with Homewood Suites in Baton Rouge a few months ago. We frequently drive from FL to TX and enjoy stopping in the lovely town of Baton Rouge. We find this hotel welcoming and very warm. I like the cleanliness of our room and the amenities provided. We find the hotel well located near some of our favorite restaurants and easy access to I-10. The hotel staff have been very professional and friendly. This hotel is usually really nice but this particular location was not kept up. However, they are shutting down half the hotel next week to totally renovate the rooms so I think we just went at a bad time. They probably started to let it go once it neared renovation time.

The staff at Homewood were very professional, polite, and friendly. No request was too big or small and always addressed with a warm smile. They truly go out of their way to make you feel comfortable while away from home. Ms. Ammann was the queen of hospitality and made sure we were well taken care of. And Ms. Creola was the queen of cuisine. Thanks for helping make it a memorable trip, even tho it was work, y all made it more like for pleasure.

I stayed because there was nowhere else to go. The meals were great!! Front desk services were good too. The major issue with this hotel is that it's dated very badly. My toilet broke 3 times and got me jaded about even going. All they did was tinker with it and called it fixed. I had a huge stain in my bath tub and holes on the couch.
