I stayed here twice over the past month for business. Nice layout of the lobby with plenty of seating and a bar/restaurant. The service at the front desk was very welcoming and accommodating whenever I needed something. The property is clean enough, but compared to other DoubleTree's, not quite up to standards. Dusty public areas, dirty elevators etc... it seems like management need to pay closer attention to details. I'm sure this was an anomaly, but when I checked in on one of my visits, ... Read more

It is the second time I stay at the DoubleTree which I like due to its easy on/off I-10 location. I like the updated setting and nice room furnishing. I struggle with the low shower water pressure but what disturbed me the most (and it is the second time it happens) is the lack of freshness in the sheets and bathrooms. I cannot say they were dirty as I would have called the front desk. But I cannot guarantee they were fresh either which disturb me tremendously. I managed to forget this when I bo... Read more

We booked this hotel 1 year in advance, received email to check in the day before, which I did, after flying 13 hours and driving 7 hours to this Hotel in Thunder Lightening and Hail Stones, we arrived to be told that our room had been given to an existing member who wanted to stay another night. Apparently he was higher in Honors points than we were as we are new members, they got to keep our room. As you can imagine we were shocked. I really liked the Boutique hotel design with the separation wall between the Bed and Desk Sofa areas. Everything was updated, including the Bathroom and clean. Not much that I can ask for when traveling for business. The Fitness Center was larger than most and nicely equipped for Strength Trainers like me. The downstairs Common area for Breakfast and other meals was also a unique and inviting design. I'll definitely look to stay here again when in the area for business.

2 or the 3 nights I had to call down for towels because none were left in the room. One of those 2 nights I went downstairs myself to get them after waiting 45 min and 2 phone calls. There was also no shampoo or kleenex or toothbrushes. Basically I picked the worst hotel to forget my toiletries but if you bring yours and your own towels in sure you will be fine.

This hotel remains my favorite in Bzton Rouge very convenient and reliable comfort. Also a good value. Right of I 10 and close to I12 this hotel is close to LSU, Downtown and the route further south to New Orleans. I travel to the Geismer area and it is a convenient location to stop and spend the night before going on to our plant.

This hotel was slightly dated. Carpet in halls needed to be restretched. But, that being said - the positives outweighed the negatives. The room was nice and large - a suite style. One nice amenity was a make-up mirror in the bathroom. The pool and hot tub both had lifts to enable the handicapped use of the pool and hot tub. We really do like this hotel. It is clean and comfortable. The pool is nice but very small and the door to the pool is broken and locks guests out. We stayed there months ago and it was broken then, too. This most recent stay we got a room with a sofa bed. The sofa bed was unacceptably uncomfortable. My poor daughter was in pain the next morning. Why offer a sofa bed if it is such poor quality. Also, no free breakfast. If you want Breakfast be prepared to spend $60 on a family of 4!!

We just stayed one night at the Double Tree in Baton Rouge. It was pretty and clean and close to the interstate. The hotel staff was courteous. It was adequate for a short visit, but was not somewhere I would want to stay for more than a night. There are several restaurants in close proximity also, so if you're traveling through and need a good place to rest and get back on the road, this is a good choice. For our first DoubleTree stay in Baton Rouge, we eagerly arrived a bit after 3:00 o'clock hoping our Hilton Honors app would work and our room would be ready. Alas, we still cannot get it to be ready to go straight to our room without stopping at the front desk. Hopefully, we will get that detail ironed out on another trip. The room we had picked out wasn't ready yet, but it wasn't a big deal. We got a great room in its place and were promptly sent on our way with freshly baked or at least warm... Read more

I prefer Hilton properties and stay at almost all of their brands, including DoubleTrees. This particular location was very disappointing. Paid over $200 for a night's stay worth maybe $50 or $60 given the rundown and soiled looking conditions of my room. I'll stay at other DoubleTrees, but not this one again.

I checked in to this hotel September 5, 2016. They were booked however the manager made room for me. Between the general manager Gary office manager Stephen the new employee Jake, Charlie ,Tammy all of them were just spot on with their customer service and people skills. As for the restaurant we had Leroy and Roderick cooking doing a phenomenal job. Bartending Larissa and Mannie were wonderful. The morning staff Jessica and Kimberly were outstanding quick service and always smiling. Each night ... Read more

I was very pleased with my visited. I have always enjoyed my stay at Double Tree. I need rooms for the weekend of 10/21-23 in Baton Rouge La. Looking forward to spending the weekend there. I would rate this hotel 4 stars. The lawn was very clean and the rooms were very quiet. I love the setting area before you get to the beds.

I just checked out and am very disappointed. The lobby and the exterior of the hotel are nice, the room was spacious, and the customer service was excellent but that's where the compliments end. The room furnishings were in poor condition and really should be updated. In addition, there were red stains on one of the sheets, a towel, and a blanket (even after we requested an additional blanket). The chair was worn, some of the fixtures were rusted, and there were stains on the floor and the o... Read more

Our favorite place to stay in Baton Rouge. Beautiful hotel with excellent location. Selection of Resturant Menu very pleasing. A comfortable spacious room awaits. Room service requests are fast. The staff is helpful and knowledgeable.

On the first stay, the only had one coffee cup and one package of coffee for one cup, for two guest. Room was not very clean but thought it was just a busy weekend. Just checked in for my second stay, one cup again, the tissue holder was empty, there was a slipper under the bed, previous guest spilled some pills on the floor which had not been cleaned. Very disappointing.

I travel to Baton Rouge for work every few months and always stay at this hotel. Rooms are amazing with very reasonable rates. Pool and fitness center are very nice too. Only downside is the breakfast buffet is pricey and takes too long to get the bill and pay for it. I typically go to the nearby grocery store and buy some breakfast so I can get going quickly in the morning.

The hotel is tired and musty. No ESPN in the rooms. We were double billed but the staff took care of it. The staff was not well informed about the facility. On several occasions we overheard staff compalining about their job, bosses.

This location is filthy. Run down would be an understatement. See photos attached. All walls had types of foreign splatter on them. Bath area had mold growing in it. Honestly do not know how Hilton allows this.

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip back in November of 2015. The check in staff was great and very friendly. The hotel rooms were definitely a little bit dated, showing the hotel's age, but clean and acceptable.

My husband, son, and I stayed here in December 2015 and everything was wonderful- from the staff to the rooms. Now, everything is awful! I'm not sure what happened! The rooms are dirty. The room we stayed in was so filthy. The bedsheets had black stuff on them and the bathtub didn't look cleaned. My son's room had trash in the trash can from the previous guest! I went to the front desk and spoke to a woman, Janae, and wow! I'm not sure why she is working in customer service!! She was rude beyond... Read more

Son and I arrived in Baton Rouge at night, a day earlier than our hotel reservation. Staff found us a room at nearby Hampton by Hilton and we w very comfortable and well looked after. Can't be too picky under the circumstances but our rooms were good. Bit cramped with 2 doubles in each room but still OK. Good choice of included breakfast buffet. Liked the fresh fruit salad - there was none at our chosen Best Western. Probably a better option than Best Western if you had a room with a king bed.

Nice hotel in good location. The room was large, comfortable and clean. The best was front desk supervisor Stephen Behrens, who went a step above and helped me print my airline ticket. He was very professional and helpful. We will stay here again next year as we were very satisfied with this hotel.

Wires hanging from a TV that doesn't work, a work chair that is torn up, no coffee, no soaps, and a bed that sunk in the middle. What once was a good clean hotel has gone downhill. I paid $200 a night for this place, and the worst part was when I told the front desk about the problems, the only thing that was corrected was the coffee.

I came to Baton Rouge for a conference which was located in another hotel. The funny thing is that my hotel room was much nicer than an associate of mine. I was impressed with the hotel and the every staff member I came across was very friendly staff. The cookies were great! Enjoyed my stay.

Quality service with a smile! Food was excellent, price was reasonable, and facilities were modern and clean. Internet was fast and secure. Cookies are the very best. Visiting our grandson for the LSU vs Florida game and it was very close to navigate back and forth to the campus.

Rooms were impeccable and very comfy. We were at the back of the hotel so there was less traffic noise from 10W. In the morning, went down to breakfast. In the middle of the meal we were told we would be charged. I believe this is the first hotel that does not offer a complimentary breakfast. The eggs were dry and rubbery, the sausages cold. My husband ordered two eggs sunny side up and they were overcooked, and when he asked for a side of bacon, he was told that they do eggs only, bacon wa... Read more
