We were needing a place to stay that would break our trip into two manageable days. Williamsburg met our criteria. Finding a hotel is sometimes a gamble. However this Hampton Inn met our expectations. The front desk was courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I will stay there again should the need arise.

I did not have a reservation, but the desk clerk found me a room. The inn appears to be newer or recently remodeled. The room was very clean except for a couple of black mold spots on the bathtub. The breakfast was standard fare. Location is very good with several fast food restaurants and a couple of chain bistro types in close proximity. I would stay there again.

This hotel is clean enough and fairly comfortable. You'll feel safe and get an OK breakfast before you leave in the morning. If a King bed room is wanted, you should make a reservation. I hope I've used 200 characters so I can finish this survey!

Very nice hotel for the area! I'm pleasantly surprised at this hotel, since it's located in a tiny town. Very few dining options available in this area, but at least, the hotel was better than expected. Lovely breakfast included in the stay with MANY options. Rooms were nice a big with fantastic pillows & the staff was nice. Also, they had a wonderful fitness center to help me pass the time!!!!

I would highly recommend this hotel. Not only is it easy on/off the highway but very clean, friendly staff, and a nice breakfast in the morning. I also have to say that even when our reservation got mixed up due to our extreme late arrival at 4:30am, the hospitality of the night desk person (Colby) was much appreciated. Especially after a long 14 hour drive. The staff upon checkout was equally wonderful. I will plan to stay here again.

Hotel is great but the only dinner options in the area are fast food. You might want to stay in Corbin instead where there is a Hampton Inn and several restraurants for dinner including a Sonny's and Cracker Barrell.

Did not expect this hotel to be as nice as it was, knowing this was just an "interstate stop-over". Hotel seemed clean, room clean and staff friendly and helpful. Walmart across the street was very convenient as we needed a few items.

This Hampton Inn is the smallest I have stayed in. Despite that, the room was large, clean and comfortable. The location is not great - it is in the middle of gas stations and fast food restaurants. I could not find a good restaurant near there to eat. If you are considering this one, you might consider driving a little further north to Corbin or Richmond. The Hampton Inns there are a little nicer, and the nearby restaurants are better.

My husband and I stopped here after driving all day. Room was clean and quiet. Staff was prompt and efficient. Everything was in working order. I liked the fact that the room didn't smell like cleaning solutions even though it was very clean. We would stay here again when traveling in this area.

We choose Hampton Inn because it is reliably clean and friendly. The pool was out of service, so that was a bummer, but it is conveniently located to a variety of fast food and Walmart. Rooms and beds are clean and even the stairwell smelled fine. Great overnight experience.

Stayed one night while heading to NC. Place was clean and staff friendly. Didn't have any issues with noise. Plenty of food, gas close and Walmart if needed. There's a small water park next door too that was fun for our 10 y/o. Pool at hotel was closed for maintenance. Would stay again if occasion came up.

Overall the Hampton Inn, as usual, provided a clean, spacious room with nice amenities. The front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. Our only complaint was the fat, hard pillows. Hampton needs to toss those and go back to the fluffy, malleable ones they used to have. A little pricey but very good.

I was on a work trip, so location was not flexible. However, this was definitely the best option in the area. Even though the location was borderline rural, this Hampton lived up to expectations of the Hilton brand. The rooms were clean, the breakfast was varied and satisfying, and they even packed snacks to-go every morning. There is ample parking and the hotel is very close to stores and restaurants. Best of limited options in Williamsburg, hotel is clean but starting to appear dated. Not bad but had a hard time getting the girl behind the counter to come out from the back office to buy anything and had the same issue when it came time to check out and the complimentary coffee was missing a couple of times. Televisions in the rooms seem smaller than the standard you find at most Hamptons but not a bad place to stay

We frequently stay at Hampton Inns when we travel, but we're disappointed with the cleanliness of the Williamsburg Hampton Inn. The hotel needs to be refreshed, the carpets cleaned or replaced, the walls painted and the bathrooms deep cleaned. The staff was friendly and helpful. I also didn't realize that there were optional smoking rooms and had to change from a king to an available double; which was non-smoking.
