I was pleased with my stay. It was just me so I requested a single and they gave me room 105. It was clean, my bed was cozy, and it had a new flat screen tv.I also had continental breakfast, nothing fancy, but good . The carpets are new and you can tell they have renovated and updated in the last year or two. Cleanliness is important to me and I would recommend this place..

Upon our late-night arrival, we were greeted by a polite desk clerk who quickly got us a room and ensured us that he would accommodate any needs we had. The room was exceptionally clean and fresh. We all slept deeply on the comfortable mattresses, and enjoyed hot showers the next morning. Breakfast was very modest, and I would have liked to have seen a few healthier options. Offerings consisted of bagels, toast, honey buns, cereal, and waffles. The lobby displays a sign that reads: Cleanliness, ... Read more

Large comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, free wifi, breakfast bar, large flat screen TV and quiet. This stands off from the highway and was able to sleep through the night without interruption from noise. Pretty skimpy on the Bath Towels. No elevator to the 2nd floor so try for a downstairs room. Breakfast bar offers only the very basics. Good coffee though.

My dad and I stayed there for two nights zero issues very clean comfortable beds. Desk clerk was friendly as well. The continental breakfast was nothing to brag about but right beside the hotel is a Waffle House next door is a subway and an Asian buffet across the street is McDonald's

There are significant things that make an impression on you when you arrive at a hotel for the first time. For me it was folded toilet paper. You really working hard to impress your guest when you take the time to fold the toilet paper to a point. I have stayed at high end hotels like the Crowne Plaza in downtown St. Louis. That place was a dump compared to the Country Hearth Inn in Shelbyville. The room was comfortable and very well kept. I walked up to the lobby to get some information. ... Read more

As a military family and a parent of an athlete who travels we have spent many days in many different hotels. The inn keeper of this hotel was probably the most gracious and conscientious of them all. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Easy access off of they highway.

The hotel and rooms are very clean. Beds were very clean and comfortable. Easy to get to. Only thing missing were benches to sit on outside. Getting to restaurants and shopping was very easy. Beautiful scenery when going out for a ride. Nothing closer by for walking distance. Very basic breakfast bar.

My sister, niece and I traveling to PA for a wedding. We were trying to find a nice safe place to stay. We always read reviews and wasn't sure about this place but was tired and ready to stop. We booked it by phone. We were SO pleasantly surprised with how wonderful this place was. Easy to find. Very clean. The staff was amazing! We were in the room for 30 min when we received a call from the front desk asking if everything was ok. The reviews we read did not sound the gl... Read more

We chose this hotel for one night based on TA reviews and price. Our room had two queen beds which were very comfortable. The linens were clean, but yellowed, which was a little off-putting. Towels and wash clothes were very clean. Breakfast is minimal, but coffee was good. We had milk with us...fake cream ruins even the best coffee. The lobby and hallways are neat and clean. This is nothing fancy, buy perfect for overnight.

I was in town for a wedding, and was held up by a contractor wanting to change my doorstop while I was trying to get ready to leave. I kept asking him if he was about finished. He told me I could leave and he would finish up. I wasn't going to leave a stranger in my room alone. There were cigarette burn holes on the blanket. The air conditioner kept cutting off, so I woke up during the night sweating. I stayed on the first floor, and it was very noisy between the ice machine and a dog barking. ... Read more

We actually got double charged online by and also by another weird processor "agoda" the front desk clerk was who alerted me. So thanks. Agoda customer service was good they accepted the fault and will refund in 7 days. The inn is currently going under remodeling but you wont be bothered or hear any construction noise. The AC works very well and actually too good, its too cold and hard tl make it a normal temp in the room. Basic breakfast, waffle maker coffee minibagels and stuff. Bi... Read more

I stayed here one night on a Sunday while traveling long distance. The facility was very clean, quiet, and secure. I had not planned ahead, just pulled off the highway and stopped in. The room furnishings are older but in good repair. The linens were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was a bit disappointing so I opted to stop somewhere down the road. I had everything I needed for a restful night of sleep.

The hotel is under new ownership. Not customer friendly. Hotel management would not honor the price we found online even though we called before we got there. The orange juice at the free breakfast was brown. There were people (construction workers) outside our room and in the hall drinking at all hours - even in the mornings. Hotel owner was so cheap he did not want to print me a copy of the invoice. I will never stay here again. Assume previous reviews were submitted under the former owner.
