I must begin by saying this is the first non smoking Candlewood I have ever stayed at. Check in was very pleasant, my son and I arrived a little early and Amanda, Nancy and Rokeia made sure we didn't have to wait long for a room. I normally don't like first floor rooms, but the location was great. I was given great directions for places to eat and shop. My son and friend was able to pick up a few board games from the desk for entertainment which was very nice being that they are 17 years old ... Read more

This is a great place for teams coming to play at Elizabethtown Sports Park. Even though it sits in Radcliff, its still very close to the Elizabethtown Sports Park. You cant go wrong staying at this place.

We loved having a mini kitchen in our room. The fitness room was amazing. Good clean basic hotel, great when staying a few days or more. Tip - do not eat at Colton's across the street - food was terrible.

Did not see on the website that this was not a full service hotel. The room is not cleaned daily. They don't change the towels, you have to take your used towels to the front desk and they give you clean ones. I asked for the room to be cleaned but returned to find the room untouched but with a note on the bed that said "...housekeeping is unable to clean any surfaces or make your bed if any of your personal belongings are left anywhere on them." I had left a small inflatable pillow on the bed... Read more

I travel with work and always get good service. Although, I received exception service at this hotel. I also observed them providing outstanding service to all visitors. Totally recommend staying here.

We stayed at Candlewood Suites on a Saturday night in May. This was our first time in a Candlewood Suite and were very pleased with the staff, our room, cleanliness and convenience to shopping, groceries and restaurants. We would definitely stay there again.

This was a clean and relatively new hotel. They had 24 hour free coffee, which I appreciate. The room came with some free microwave popcorn. The room itself was perfect for our purposes. All the items we would expect, desk, iron, ironing board, ect. Nice sized bathroom. Good hot water. The bed was ok. My old lady had one bad night. Nice rate for active duty. I will likely stay again.

The hotel staff was nice but they were a happy group that were loud and could be heard down the hall on the first floor where I stayed. The Christmas decorations made the place seem homey. It is located on a main highway about a 10-minute drive from the mall and restaurants. The small suites were equipped with full-sized refrigerators, a stove, microwave and other conveniences. The business center was adequate. Parking was convenient.

Stayed here for 1 week during JSOCC training for JROTC. The staff was extremely helpful and available for questions. Room was fairly large with a 2 burner top for cooking and a large refrigerator. There was a desk with a lamp for working and a lazy boy recliner. There was self laundry with a decent size gym.

Good clean room, nice staff. Comfortable beds and impressive bathrooms. We stayed just one night but were pleads enough that we felt a review necessary. The only down side was a large group of young men who didn't seem to have a Chaperon. They were very unruly and disrespectful to other guests and front sl desk staff. I'm grateful our room was not near the group of boys.

First, the positives: The suites are clean and new-looking and have a full kitchen and a desk. There are free laundry facilities, a nice little workout room, a small business center, and a patio with 2 BBQ grills. There are lots of restaurants close by, a Wal Mart and it is about 15 minutes to the baseball park. However, for $142 a night, PLUS tax, in a very suburban area of Kentucky, this hotel is very overpriced for what you get. The room is very poorly stocked / serviced, e.g., no paper ... Read more

Stayed here on my way to Maryland from Little Rock AR. Super easy to find. Good parking. Room was clean and comfy. Loved that there was a gas station in front of hotel along with huddle house, McDonald's and a Coltons. There is also a Walmart market with in 100 yards. Made it the ideal location to stay. Staff were super nice and helpful.

My overall experience of the hotel was great but Dawn Whitley at the front desk made my trip even better! She has made my stay one to remember. Her positive attitude alone is enough for me to recommend this hotel to others. She greets all her customers on a first name basis which made my stay feel more personal!

This my 7th consecutive year to stay here. It is not being maintained. The plumbing in shower, sink, and toilet need replacing. Managements idea of solving the raw sewage smell was to plug a moldy hole with Kleenex. The staff is no longer polite and friendly. Screaming was so bad it sounded like an assault just outside the check in desk. They didn't care. The air conditioner did not work right and it rattled like it was going to fall off. I won't be back.

First ever stay at a Candlewood Suites, and stopped on the way to South Dakota, originally for one night. My partner began experiencing severe back and abdomen pain soon after we checked in, and I had to get him to the ER. The General Manager offered to have me follow her to the hospital; it was raining and dark and this was a tremendous help. We ended up staying for two nights and the staff was marvelous.
