Hampton Inn Murray cannot be beat for location if you are visiting a MSU student. Hotel is fairly clean. The complimentary breakfast is your average breakfast. A word of caution for parents staying the weekend of MSU graduation. Due to the high demand that weekend the hotel has a deposit required. While I totally understand why they would put the policy in place it was not in place in the system when we booked. The charge on my credit card 1 1/2 months later with NO notification from the h... I have stayed at this hotel many, many times for business. This visit was for pleasure - my daughter's graduation from Murray State University, right across the street from the hotel. The price was increased because of this, which is expected. However, they ran out of breakfast food and could not seem to keep up with the masses. That was a bit disappointing. This hotel is ALWAYS clean and fresh, though and usually a pleasant experience. Needed more staff for this type of event.

The room was a king suite. The maid service was not very good. We were here 3 nights. On Thursday evening we returned to our room to find the tub not cleaned with hair still in it from bath that morning. The cookies were ok. Friday when we returned to the room we noticed they hadn't vacuumed the room or mopped or swept the bathroom. Same lint, hair, crumbs was on the floor. The carpets need a good cleaning.

We chose the wrong weekend to do the barn quilt trail near Murray, Kentucky. Wrong weekend because the availability of the "maps" for the trail is very limited. The visitor center and chamber of commerce were maps. We hoped the hotel could help. No help there and they could have cared less. We used the Internet and GPS to find the ones that we could. The beds at the Hampton were great and the room was clean and quiet. The hallway...not so much. The carpet is looking worn an... Read more

Stayed here leaving Little Rock. Decided to explore a different route from usual through Nashville. After leaving Rte 40 which is the worst Rte ever, the trip was easy and without stress. The hotel is across from Murray State and easily accessible. A quiet area and helpful staff. Can walk easily to restaurants. Typical breakfast with fake eggs, but good choices all around. Would definitely stay again. Try the Keg restaurant.

The staff very pleasant, however, the carpet in the halls were stained and no air! I do not see how the workers ( housekeepers) can stand it. My room was in great condition very clean. For the rate you pay, it needs to upgraded and at least air. Will not be back.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Murray last night. It was very clean and the check in person was great. My family enjoyed the pool and breakfast was pretty standard this morning. I had one problem that drove me crazy. The sheet on the bed kept slipping off the corner. It is a huge pet peeve. I didn't expect it from a Hampton. I'm sure it was a one time thing but it was a bother.

We checked in late and left early but the hotel was nice and clean, close to everything. Standard breakfast fare for a Hampton, my only complaint is that this and many other Hamptons freeze hard boiled eggs, not a good idea and not necessary. Otherwise, good stay.

We stayed here to be close to Paris Landing State Park Inn for a family annual get together because we were tired of the poor environmantal room control at the aforementioned Inn. Because my daughter attends MSU, I've had the chance to visit Murray several times over the last couple of years, and depending on season, have had to stay in several of the local properties. This is a nice, clean, newer hotel. The hotel is located right across from the Murray football stadium. Staff is friendly upon arrival and the check in procedure is quick and painless. The rooms are modern and feature a nice lineup of satellite TV channels. Make sure to bring your own drinks/snacks as their hotel store prices are insane....ten dollars for a small can if peanuts?? Room and service were excellent! Great breakfast too and very friendly staff! Enjoyable weekend in Murray, KY and the surrounding area. Can't wait to return next year. Would be nice to have designated parking for motorcycles and if other people staying there would respect someone else's property. While there someone hit my husbands bike with car door and we watched from room but by time we got downstairs they were gone. No excuse for that! Was plenty of room for parking.
