Usually I never consider anything below 4 stars but figured I'd give this place a shot given the price was that much lower. Well now I know why. Very dumpy place with a mix of mildew and stale smoke smell. Needed an updating about fifteen years ago, though they did give it the ol college try in the shower. Not the least is it's conveniently located next to a highway so the paper thin windows do a horrible job shielding the sound. But hey saved some coin...

On a short business trip. I wanted a hotel close to our seminar downtown, that offered a full breakfast. This hotel was what I expected. The hotel is older but everything worked and it was up to date. Hotel staff friendly. Good value for location.

To me the price for the room were little expensive. For what they have to offer at $253 for a 2 night stay and the breakfast they served in the morning wasn't up to par(no eggs or bacon) from what I've had before at other hotels at the same price. To me they should charge about $70 to 80 range for what they have to offer and where they are located. I will say rooms were limited in the area due to the National Archery Competition going on that week.

Room was newly renovated, plenty of space, had beautiful new tile in the bathroom, had a "clean" remote. There was a reggae festival going on outside & didn't even hear it once the doors shut. Hotel staff was also very friendly & accommodating. It was nice to get a phone call asking if our room was alright.

The only complaint I have is that check out was not until Noon, but housekeeping began knocking on the door at 9am. At that time, we told them that we would be gone at noon. They knocked again at 10:30am, then the front desk gal knocked at 11:30am. Other than felling like they were kicking us out, we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed at this property a couple of years ago. It was fine. In fact, it was nice. On this most recent trip the first thing that happened was we hung up clothing only to have the rack pull out of the wall. During our stay we experienced the following: bugs in the bathroom on at least two occasions, the floor was never vacuumed, we were given a completely inaccurate television listing, the television lost several channels one night, the air conditioner broke, the area where we walked the dog... With two conventions in Louisville, there were few choices left so we stayed here. We should've kept looking. This is the kind of hotel that you see in movies where grifters stay when they are trying to keep one step ahead of the law. Fitness center was a joke. Carpet in my room was damp, I am assuming from being cleaned versus a flood.

The place is disgusting, the rooms smell of urine and smoke, gross disgusting stains everywhere, and I killed 4 spiders in my room staying overnight. The front desk is completely uncourtious and incompetent. I'm sure the price is cheap, i don't pay my company does but this is totally not worth any savings whatsoever.

We were pleasantly surprized by the convenience, cleanliness and friendliness when we stopped at the Ramada Inn North Louisville. It was a late night stop, no reservations. The room was spacious and clean. We would definately stop here again
