The room was good sized but the bathroom was smaller than my bathroom is at home. The bed was very firm but still comfortable. The hotel was very hard to find. Even my gps doesn't find the hotel correctly.

I spent 2 nights here while in town for the NRA Annual Meeting. The hotel was clean and appeared to be fairly new. I had a room on the first floor, across from the pool. If I had it to do over I would've preferred something higher up. It was a little noisy the second night I was there, but that's a minor detail. It's in a good location, near the Paddock Shops, so there are plenty of places to eat nearby.

I checked-in online prior to my arrival. I was given my room key once I arrived, and when I entered the room, I saw that beds were not made, the ironing board was out, and the bathroom hadn't been cleaned. I had a 3 hr drive prior to reaching the hotel, so I decided to go ahead and use the restroom before I headed back down to the from desk. Before I could do so the woman (housekeeper who checked me in) from the front desk started banging on the door. She explained that the room was not, in f... Read more

From the friendliness and efficiency of the front desk staff (especially Brooke) to the cleanliness of the room, the wonderful made-to-order breakfast to the room rates, this hotel is wonderful. We recommended this hotel to our friends with whom we were travelling and they thoroughly enjoyed it as well. Highly recommend.

This hotel is on the top of my list. Love the location, close to shopping, easy on/off, very clean, reasonably priced, very courteous hotel staff. Very convenient to great restaurants. You can walk to a shopping center with great restaurants, Chico's, Ann Taylor, grocery store, shoe stores, linens, etc.

was nice stay and convenient to the concert we stayed at. was very nice lobby and very friendly staff. they beds have some form of adjustment that i dont believe was working or the staff are just not trained properly on the function of them. but overall very nice stay. would have been better if we could have softened the bed to our comfort

I loved this hotel but I will not be returning. Several parties with children allowed to run up and down the hallways until all hours of the night! (For several nights) Many complaints were made and nothing was done to fix it. I travel for work every week. I wouldn't need a hotel if I didn't REQUIRE sleep. Very sad!

It was my first time in Louisville and Allie at the front desk made my visit spectacular. She was more than helpful helping me find nearby restaurants and golf courses. Allie is a shinning star in the Hilton company. I will certainly come back and visit this hotel because of the warm friendly environment Allie developed at the Hilton Garden Inn.

The breakfast offered for our group was not only presented very well but it had nice selections for the cost. The hotel was overall very clean and comfortable. About the "hard to get to, sort of" comment. The hotel is located behind a shopping area, and it is a round about way to get there. You can see it from the highway, see it from the shopping area, but have to weave around some roads and shoppers to get there. Just something to note. The location is actually quite good. Dining and shopping within walking distance, and tons within a short drive. Very quiet and secluded as well. Room was nice and everything worked well, although my "adjustable... Read more

We always have one out of town tournament and we have the luck of the draws with hotel choices based upon the tournament coordinator. This time we lucked out. This by far was the best out of town stay for the team. 5 floors made it convenient for them to put baseball families together and people who don't want to be around them in another area. Beautiful hotel tucked in behind a fabulous Mall. Spectacular Lobby with multiple seating and meeting areas. Great pool and fitness center. We would recommend the Hilton Gardens if you are staying in the Louisville area. The staff was very accommodating. When we got up at 4am for our flight the shuttle driver had called in sick but t he hotel made arrangement for a cab to the airport and they arrived on time to take us there. this was a good option for us. The room wreaked of smoke and this was brought to the attention of the host. Also there was no complimentary breakfast, not even juice and pastries. It was nearly 100 degrees outside & there were these dusty jars with fake lines in them. I suggested to the hostess to put some water out. She said it was coming but mind you it was nearly 1:00pm the water should hv been out for departing quests much earlier.

Have stayed at this property 3 times for business primarily due to location. Beds are showing their age and are uncomfortable, but rooms are clean and WiFi is good. Avoid the even numbered rooms as they are on the highway side of the building and the noise almost constant. One waiter for breakfast service meant poor service.
