Poor HK. I am a Hilton Diamond member. Very disappointed. No valet before 6am. Sad to see my points wasted on this stay. Very poor HK. No clean towels even after speaking to HK and HK supervisor. No one called me to discuss my issues. I will take him out with Hilton Diamond service perhaps they will get the tension of the local hotel. Service-level over housekeeping was appalling, no clean towels shower was dirty Mildew present along the grout lines in the shower.

This hotel is average but in a good location. The room was decent, but not what I selected at digital check-in. People were talking loudly in the hallways all night every night. The room was directly across from the elevators and it was extremely disruptive to hear people all night. I would recommend looking at a different hotel in the nearby neighborhood.

We booked the king whirlpool suite for a weekend away. The hotel is very nice. Very up to date and modern. One of the nicer downtown hotels. Its proximity to 4th street live and other downtown attractions makes it easily walkable. We will be back.

Excellent place to visit when attending the Kentucky Arts Center or downtown events, museums, places to visit, and all the places to eat and attend entertainment venues. Had a great time walking fourth street and visiting the shops, restaurants, and listening to music in the streets. Great to see the Phantom of the Opera. The shuttle took us everywhere and picked us up.

I stayed at the Hilton for a two day work conference. The hotel room was nice and comfortable. The only concern I had was the loud music I could hear from my room that was from the live music on fourth street. Other than that it was in a great location to dine out and enjoy some entertainment. The YMCA is down the street if you are a member I enjoyed a few cardio classes while I was there.

We've stayed here twice and each time was great. From the time we arrived the experience was great. The valet and front desk personnel were professional and courteous. The only thing I didn't like were the pricey drinks at the bar but we still had a great time.

Decent stay in a questionable area of town. Clean rooms, good parking options, great bar/restaurant at top of hotel. However, extremely noisy, many parties all throughout the night, and everything echoes. You won't get a good night sleep here. Just go to the bar; excellent bartender, good drinks, mediocre food.

Loved the roof top bar, room nice size and clean upon arrival. Good location. Bed was not made, room was not cleaned during our 3 night stay. Asked for more towels and got them. One excuse was that they had to many people leave and had to clean those rooms, front desk clerk said they didn't clean rooms during stays, and one said they couldn't come back in a half hour while we dressed for a wedding even though we had been out most of the day. Disappointed.

The street noise at night was awful. Cars drag racing, trucks, etc. Housekeeping had to be reminded to clean the room every day. Louisville was a little disappointing. Pretty run-down. Liked the Trolley Tour.

Room 626 is a double and is very big. Not a great view (looks at a parking garage), but is quiet. Housekeeping needs a little help. Pillow cases had smudged makeup on them when I checked in and took all the wash cloths without replacing them when they cleaned the room. Fridge freezes everything in it. Good location within walking distance to 4th Street Live and easy access to the highway going in and out of town.

I could not have picked a better hotel to say at in Louisville. I was in town to see a concert at The Palace Theater. It was the perfect location. Right next door. I flew into Louisville airport and had to catch a cab to get to the hotel. They run a flat fee of $19.55 to hotels downtown and they do take credit cards. I was excited when I learned this hotel had a shuttle. I called to set up the shuttle the day before I arrived just to learn the shuttle only runs on during certain times. Cut off... Read more

I checked into this hotel with my parents and my 98 year old grandma. I requested the mobile accessibility room not knowing what to expect. When I checked in, the room was HUGE, great for people with wheel chairs. The bathroom was also great for people who are handicapped. The only problem we had was that it was in downtown so of course, there were parking fees per night, and it was close to Fourth Street Live, which is both a pro and a con, depending on your crowd. The Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Louisville is very nice. It has a beautiful roof top lounge with an excellent staff. They were very attentive and friendly. I think the only issue with the hotel is parking. Lots of back and forth with elevators. However, this was part of their excellent security system since it was an downtown location. The rooms were quiet and secure. We would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at the this property having to come in town for bereavement purposes. Although our visit was for an unpleasant reason the Hilton Garden Inn hotel was clean and with everything we wanted. The hotel staff was led by Nanette who gave us the best service we had ever received. We are considering always staying at a Hilton Garden Inn hotel. Thanks, Jennifer Williams.

We stayed at this hotel for a baseball tournament. It is conveniently located two blocks from the fourth street live out door Street venue. The hotel staff was excellent. The room was very good. One negative comment was there was no safe in the room. Everything else was very good. The rooftop lounge is excellent but the stuff up there are a little aloof. Drinks were complex but executed sub par.(ie flat pop in drink, no mint or copper mug for Moscow mule etc)

It is located in close proximity (but not walking distance) to Main Street which has a number of museums and sites of interest. Desk staff were exceedingly polite and helpful. I was not staying at this hotel, but it was recommended that I check out the rooftop restaurant. It has great views of the city and some delicious food and cocktails. I had the burger and fries the first night. The fries were the star on the plate. They were salty and cooked nice and crisp. I also had the lettuce wrap with mushrooms. It was sweet, salty, and savory. It looked like they had a good selection of bourbon, but I'm a beer guy. The beer selection could have been better for on dr... Read more

We chose this hotel because I won a night's stay from a local giveaway. We used our stay to end our 1 year anniversary celebration after visiting a couple of distilleries and going to the ballet, all in downtown Louisville. The staff was friendly, the room was clean and very comfortable, and the location was perfect for our plans. Neither of us usually sleep well in a hotel but we ended up getting the best night's sleep we had in a very long time.

The room that we were stuck in was directly under the gym and the morning gym-rats slammed their weights on our ceiling. Very poor night's sleep with all the noise from the street, the elevator, the ice maker across the hall, and ultimately the weight room.

We have stayed at this hotel twice now. It's just around the corner from 4th street. Close enough for convenience, but not too close for a lot of late night noise. The hotel has it's restaurant on the top floor as well as it's bar with outdoor bar also. I mention the height of the garage in the title. We were driving a regular height pickup truck, not oversized or overtall. We had no problems parking our vehicle in their garage. On one trip, we had been booked in another hotel, but our truc... I'm not often in the Louisville area, but I've stayed at several different locations over the past 3-4 years. I've stayed out east, in the south area of town, and even the Seelbach (BTW - The Seelbach is a gorgeous place, and I felt really bad about bringing so much mud into my room - it was several days of bike racing). I was in town for a ball game and was treated terribly. I tried to resolve the issue with management and was not happy with the result. The general manager seemed unconcerned and as if he didn't care to be bothered. There were some good people at the front desk, but of course they can only do so much. The room was nice and location was good. Just know that customer service is lacking.

Desk clerks were not friendly, in fact a bit snobbish.Location of hotel is noisy and there was constant noise coming from the hall a d the rooms above. The rooftop bar had a nice view, however the drink prices were absurdly expensive. I had a $14 blackberry mint julep and I was shocked when the server brought it and the mint was completely wilted and disgusting.Who would bring someone a drink with a slimy, wilted garnish?? We stayed here for a weekend while in town for a wedding. We checked in late on a Friday and felt our reception from the front desk staff was lacking.
