I stayed here for 3 nights for business. The staff was very friendly. There were things in the room that could have been cleaned a little better, but overall, it was clean--I tend to be picky. It was a little hard to adjust the temp and I prefer having the ability to leave the fan running through the night--again, just a personal preference. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would stay here again.

Our stay here was excellent from check in to checkout. Our room was clean and the temperature was controlled very well with a wall mounted thermostat. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. We would recommend this location to anyone.

I don't visit the US much, but as someone who travels a lot across Europe and Asia, I do like how frequent and solid so many of the chain hotels are. Nothing special perhaps, but the Hampton Inn here has comfortable rooms even if some elements of staining on carpets and seats show the age. Service is very friendly and helpful, and wifi is strong ?? both things that make the hotel feel better. On the negative though, the breakfast was awful ?? tired, wilting fruit, stiff pastries, and really th... Read more

Everyone was very helpful and friendly. They even recommended great restaurants for dinner that were not too far away. Decent breakfast with eggs and sausage, with waffles. Fresh fruit and yogurt. It was the Kentucky Derby weekend and they were very busy, but fully prepared and had plenty of food. The room was very nice, comfortable bed. I would stay there again.

Stayed there for 2 nights while on a business trip. It's a pretty standard Hampton. Nothing surprising. Front desk was friendly but didn't do anything special for me for being a Hilton Diamond member. No big deal. Room was clean and everything looked updated.

I travel for a living and the Hampton @ Hampton Lake Way treat you like your family ( But in a good way! LOL ) They're whole staff is very attentive to your needs or concerns. It's a good opportunity to receive some real southern hospitality from all the staff at The Hampton. If your in the area, Do Stop it'll be worth the effort. There are many restaurants within a 10-15 minute radius and great access to north south & east west interchanges for your travel needs.

Close enough to downtown via 71 or Brownsboro Rd, to almost make up for constant construction in Louisville. The facility is clean, the breakfast so-so, but there are nearby alternatives. The entrance to this hotel is not clear until you learn that the Shogun Restaurant is at the entry way. Another oddity is that there is an entrance nearby to a WalMart, which is almost completely hidden, not the fault of the hotel. It all suggests that the signage in this area is poorly thought-out or overly r... Read more

Nice hotel, great staff and convenient location. I was traveling on a tight budget and the large room and price suited us very well. We needed to be close to downtown but stay within our budget. We did that and enjoyed a very nice stay.

we were in town for a wedding. Our stay at this hotel was everything we have grown to love with a Hampton. This is the only place I do not have to bring spare sheets for the bed! We will always stay at a Hampton!

Traveling home after a very stressful day. Needing to stop, made the call. Booked. Arrived. And they were ready for us! Again, as always they are. Room clean and orderly. Friendly and knowledgable staff directed us to a local pizzaplace (amazing!!). Good , quick stay.

Bryson is one of THE BEST front desk staff members I have EVER dealt with! Even our son kept saying "Mommy, Bryson is so nice to us!" He was very pleasant and kept asking us if we were enjoying ourselves or if we needed anything. The hotel is very clean, has both a great sized fridge and microwave, the rooms smell great, and the breakfast was great for my family all three mornings. It was a sigh of relief for me, since I always worry about the cleanliness of hotels for my kiddo. The business ... Read more

Clean, friendly and well maintained. Pool was cold but didn't stop the grandkids from having a great time. Breakfast was ok but was not as good as other Hampton Inns we've stayed at. Handy to lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay again. $105/ night before taxes and fees through Booking which was good compared to other hotels in that area. Wifi was weak.

Stayed one night at Hampton Inn in Louisville while in town for a conference. Had a good experience. Room was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Continental breakfast had several options -- sausage, eggs, potatoes, waffles, bagels, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, etc

Husband and I were on a road trip from Illinois to North Carolina and decided to spend the night here and had made a reservation online. While driving, we got a phone call from a staff member offering us a complimentary upgrade of our room. It was a nice large suite and very comfortable! Love the Hampton Inn beds! Staff gave us suggestions for dinner and we ate at Fiesta Mexicana. Great food! This was just a quick overnite stay, but I would definitely stop at this hotel again!

We had very minor issues but overall I would stay there again. The room was clean and the pool was clean. The room was very spacious. The breakfast had an excellent variety of options. I gave an excellent rating as the overall experience was great. We stayed in room 223.

Upon first glance, the hotel looks nice. But, it's just not above average overall. From the past reviews, it's clear they've done some upgrades to the hotel, but I'd say it is probably skin deep. The a/c rattles, the beds weren't real comfortable (barely any padding over some firm springs - I'm thinking in need of replacement), and the fridge kept everything frozen. The room was mostly clean where it counts - nothing gross in the shower or anything, but there was definitely a thick layer of dust... Read more

I stay in Hampton and Hilton hotels constantly. This hotel was the worst in my opinion. The alarm clock did not work and neither did the television remote. I spent 203.06 on my room for one night. This was not a good experience for me. The personnel were very friendly but the care of the rooms was bad in my opinion. I love this hotel franchise and this only my experience but I paid a lot of money to stay there and I will struggle to stay at that hotel again.

This hotel would get a perfect score if not for the loud housekeeping staff. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Hotel is always clean. This is my second stay at this location. Check-in and out is always quick and easy.

We wanted to take a short trip to Louisville to visit some locations we'd heard of, but never seen. This hotel was ideally located close to downtown ( Historic downtown/Comfy Cow Ice cream/Evan Willaims Bourbon Experience) and also to the outlying area where we planned to visit (LaGrange,Yew Dell Gardens ). The room was very nice, extremely clean and the breakfast exceptionally good.

Hotel was clean and comfortable, staff was friendly, and hotel is conveniently located near my work assignment. The hotel is beginning to show its age, and furniture and fixtures are ready for upgrades to remain on same level of quality as other Hampton or Hilton branded hotels.

We were greeted by Bryson, who went above and beyond to assist me and my family. He even offered a list of local restaurants for dinner. Great breakfast and nice clean rooms. This Hampton is within 5 minutes of many great restaurants from fast food to fine dining and many shopping options. This is definitely a place to stay in the Louisville area!

This is a great hotel where excellent service is given and the staff seems to take a genuine interest in your needs. Whatever need you have, they will do their best to provide for you. I am there about once a month and they always remember my name when I walk through the door.

The rooms were clean but the breakfast wasn't good. It took a few tries to get the correct key to our room because they kept assigning the wrong room numbet to my room cards. I am a diamond member and was not greeted or treated like one. Still the stay was average.
