My family has stayed at this hotel before and it was fine. This time however it was absolutely terrible. When we arrived we were told our rooms were ready. WRONG! When we looked around in the room we noticed that the bed was not clean and it looked as though the housekeeper just pulled the bed linens up and tucked to make it look as though it had been made. We had two rooms reserved and the other was the same! GROSS!!! We called the desk and the head housekeeper was very nice and apologetic... Read more

Couldn't get into the pools 10-12 boys running back and forth between the indoor and outdoor pools unsupervised. Found a live roach in the bathroom!

On the last night when we came in to go to bed, I found that my keys would not work. It was a long way to the front desk. They had my reservation wrong and had me leaving that day. No towels, no beds made up, etc. The hotel is kind of shabby, but the breakfast was okay, and the room was nice except for a very small bathroom.

poor housekeeping. room needed to be vacuumed between bed and nightstand. got back to room about 3-4 pm 1st day, wanted a shower after being outside in almost 100 degrees all day. housekeeping had not been in yet. I asked for clean towels and was told there were none, i'd have to wait on laundry. I said I would reuse what I had and I was told to sign a refusal to clean the room, I did not refuse! same thing next day, by 4 pm no housekeeping yet. had to wait for towels so we could shower again.

I was superbly pleased with this hotel's value for dollar paid. It is an elegant building with lots of natural light and pleasing spaces. Bed linens are attractive. Pet fee very reasonable. Our grandson enjoyed the outdoor pool which was lit at night. (There's also an indoor pool.) Friendly staff. Free breakfast is served in a restaurant with warm atmosphere, private booths. After reading the reviews, it was exactly what I expected for a hotel at that price point. It is dated, clean, comfortable bed, pillows so-so and a good location. The continental breakfast was okay but I don't understand why not have hot scrambled eggs, just hard boiled. My room (139) had this very strong perfume smell which I don't understand. I think it was a cleaning product but there was not musty or old stale smoke smell to try and cover up. That's why I am stumped.

Room was fine..... outside was dirty. People next door was going in and out the window to smoke. Too dang lazy to walk a ways and use the door. I realalize construction was going on, but hey empty the garbage containers and pickup cups and cans etc laying around.
