I had family staying in a hotel next door, our room was WAY better and much cheaper. And we had a suite! The front desk person during the day and evening was great, the early morning guy, NOT SO good. Had a real attitude. Other than that, the bed was very comfy, there was some stuff in the room that could use some sprucing up but it was clean. Being at the top of the stairs was a little noisy at times but thats not the hotels fault that would be rude inconsiderate guests. Maybe a thicker door wi... Read more

La Quinta Hotels are convenient and economical for me when I travel. I have always been satisfied and I get treated with respect. I always check my travel maps to plan ahead and which one's are located conveniently next to a good place I like to eat.

Other reviews say it well. I would not have stayed had I read them but like an idiot I was reading reviews for the wrong La Quinta. Room 108 was dirty, bare, and small. You can hear everything from the parking lot, hallway, and other rooms. Desk staff were quite nice, however.

I've stayed at many hotels and I've stayed at LaQuinta's. I've actually stayed at this hotel but it was years ago. I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of the room. The carpet had stains, hair on the floor in the bathroom and an overall dirty feeling. We were supposed to stay a week and a half and checked out after a couple of nights

The property is getting old and tired; the rooms exhibit that. Generally unkempt inside and out. Outside walkways not swept. Window darkening drape missing hooks. Dirt/dust around baseboards. Positive - Quiet room and adequate breakfast for the price.

We stayed one night on a cross country road trip at the end of a 3+ week vacation. We had our two Yorkies with us and this chain continues to be the best at allowing pets to stay free. Our Suite was large, clean and well laid out. We were put in a room which was very quiet and convenient. The breakfast was good (especially since it is complimentary). Microwave and refrigerator/freezer worked well. Couldn't have expected or ask for more especially at their price level. A very good represen... Read more

Great service checking in and out. Workers were very nice. Our room had pumpkin seeds on the floor and the room needed to vacuumed. The bathroom needed to be mopped the floor was sticky, but since we were only staying one night I didn't complain. We have stayed here before and never been in a room this messy. I will stay here again because it is close to my family.

Our stay was pleasant. The walls seemed a little thin. We had people making noise all night in the rooms beside us. Other than that all was very well done and we will be staying at La Quinta in the future. We really appreciate the pet friendly accommodations. Overall I would recommend this motel for travelers.

I stay at La Quinta because they always let me stay with my three dogs. This is a very nice hotel. It was clean and quiet. The bed was very comfortable. I arrived at 9:30 p.m. after driving for 12 hours and would have liked a friendlier welcome, but the clerk was efficient and had me in my room quickly. The breakfast was okay--they have that waffle maker so what else could you want? More fruit, perhaps. When I make this trip next year I plan to stay here again.

No refrigerator or micro; no bag for ice bucket, no bags in garbage cans. The rooms need better electrical. The chair in room is uncomfortable and no light or table by it so it is useless. This hotel is clean and friendly but not as nice as most LaQuintas, yet we paid the same price.

Towels badly stained, bathroom dirty, smoke detector covered in plastic, very limited breakfast choices. Old hotel that has not been kept up over the years. Only good thing was that they took pets and didn't charge an arm and leg for them. Would have preferred to pay for the dog next time to get a cleaner hotel with clean towels I could actually feel comfortable using. Nothing even smelled clean let alone looked clean. Staff was friendly enough and location was fine.

Staff was friendly and accommodating, however the room seemed a little "tired" and the carpet could use a cleaning. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast buffet was fresh. Usually stay at La Quinta's when traveling with our pets as there is no additional pet fee charged. I would have to say that this location was better than most of the La Quinta's we have stayed at and having a Cracker Barrel next door was an unexpected bonus.

I haven't been in Lexington in awhile, and after driving all day, I was going to splurge on a nicer hotel, and now wish I did. Although the other hotels I looked at were charging $75 a night for a dog! This hotel is right off the highway where I-64 and I-75 meet. However, it is very overpriced for this level of hotel. It is old, my room smelled like mold, and there was hair all off the tile floor of the first room we were given. The second room still had some hair, even in the bed, and had a d... Read more

It was the more expensive of the two LQ hotels I considered, so I guess I expected it to be nicer. It is basically a budget hotel with older fixtures and a little run down. It is mostly clean and liveable, but the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything happening outside. Location is decent to drive into Lexington. It is pet friendly with no extra charge which is why I would stay again, especially for a short term visit.

The location was super-convenient to KHP. Easy ride in the morning and after a long day. Facilities were clean, bed was very comfortable. For the price, would definitely stay here again. Continental breakfast had little to offer my daughter following paleo diet- lots of carbs and sweets, little fresh fruits, almost no protein to be had.

I'm on a SR Bus Trip with 27 people, plus the driver. We've stayed in 3 different hotels on this trip and this one was by far the nicest. The hotel seemed clean, both the lobby, the exterior, and our room. The lighting inside was good and the decor was fairly cheerful. The beds/pillows were comfy, the bathroom was fine, and we had a decent sized table with two chairs to eat the pizza we ordered. We stayed here for one night. We had to change rooms due to the odor of the bathroom and phone not working. The new room was ok although still musty. It is pet friendly and the bed was ok and the sheets were clean. Some rooms have mini fridges and microwaves some do not (same price). Breakfast was simple (cereal bagels etc). Probably would not stay here longer than a night.

We stay at la quintas across the country and this is the nastiest we have been to. Our room smelled so musty and nasty that we emptied half a bottle of frebreeze when we walked in, only to realize that didn't cut the smell at all. This was the worst LaQuinta we have ever visited. "It's ONLY ONE flight of stairs" said the desk clerk. But for a couple in their 70s, it was a challenge with roller luggage, laptop, briefcase, tablet, makeup bag, goodies bag, to haul them up the stairs. I think the last time I was in a two-story building, anywhere, without an elevator, was back in the 1950s. In hindsight, I guess I could have changed the reservation to a ground-floor room.... We also repacked and left when I saw the coffeemaker... Read more

This hotel is dirty, smells of smoke in hallways and rooms. The beds are old and sag. Floors are stained, likely from pets (which is the reason we stayed here). The shower gets hot, but there is no wager pressure. Holes in the walls from door knobs. We didn't see any, but one woman said her room had fleas! Aweful. Hotel was not well cleaned in lobbies, pool. Rooms were acceptable. Staff was hit or miss. We were there for 6 days, and had we been there for anything other than sleep and showering, would have moved. Breakfast was poor, though fresh. Waffles, apples, hard boiled eggs, and yogurt. Coffee was truly awful, from a pod machine or something. Beds were comfortable, and hotel was quiet aside from occasional barking dogs.

This LaQuinta staff needs to answer the phone when it rings. The odor in the rooms was not the best smell I've dealt with. The bed was okay. The shower was good. I've never been a fan of LaQuinta as the times I've chosen to give them a chance I've been less than satisfied and this stay did nothing to improve that viewpoint.
