We purchased tickets for the Kentucky Derby but hotels in Louisville were expensive and filled up fast. The reviews for this property were mixed but we decided to take a chance. Room - Very nice. We were on the 4th floor. No view of anything but the room was clean with modern decorations and furniture. Kitchen with a coffee maker, large sink, dishes, microwave and large refrigerator. Excellent in every way except bed and its linens. Mattress (a topper?) a bit lumpy; linens cheap thin polyester. Otherwise, this property is top-notch and it's now my first choice in Lex. Has real china and glassware, even a dish-washer. These come in very handy because Trader Joe's is right next door.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful. Brand new, and actually, not quite finished. As a matter of fact, there was trim laying on the floor in the hallway, and room numbers printed on papers and hung on some of the doors instead of number plates. We didn't deal with construction, as it was a weekend stay, but it was pretty tacky seeing the trim laying on the floor. It could have been a tripping hazard. The hotel room itself was amazing. Everything was new, kitchenette was fully stocked with p... Read more

I had also stayed at 2 other hotels in Lexington and then found Home2 Suites and it out classes the other 2 hotels by far. Everything about this hotel is great from Housekeeping right up to the Management. I have been telling all of my colleagues about them and how great the rooms are and the staff.

We walked into our room and enjoyed the size and the kitchen. However, after one night of the crazy-loud dishwasher and the unbelievable stink of the sewer back-up, we were ready to go. We told the front desk about the sewer stink, expecting something in return, and she simply said, "Yes, we are having problems with that." End of story. Pet friendly.clean rooms. Parking is not the best. Parking lot is very small so if you get there late you will park on the street. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly! Again pet friendly is why we stayed there

As a frequent business traveler, this property never disappoints. It has a terrific front desk and cleaning staff. They are welcoming and professional. The rooms are laid out very well and always clean. To top it off, the location couldn't be better. It is close to great shopping and restaurants.

My brother and I arrived later in the evening, as we visited 5 of the distilleries on the Bourbon Trail earlier that day. The front desk experience was smooth and professional, and the clerk recommended a local restaurant for takeout that we enjoyed. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality and cleanliness of the room, as this was our first stay in a Home2. Everything was laid out well, worked the way it should, and left us feeling like we got tons of value for the meager rate we paid. T... Read more

I came here for a two week business trip. A couple days into the stay, I came back from work and discovered a small item missing from my room. I subsequently left a note in my room asking housekeeping where it was. I returned from work the next day and noticed there was not a response and my room had not been cleaned. I contacted the front desk who referred me to the manager-Zack. I explained the situation to him and he apologized and told me he would bring it up in the morning staff meeting. Th... Read more

The public spaces were very nice and the deign of the room was great however the room we stayed in we ultimately determined had not been cleaned. Unfortunately we did not figure it out until the next morning as we were exhausted when we checked in. So we likely slept on unclean sheets. We found the following additional issues with the room: mold and water in ice bucket, uncleaned refrigerator and freezer, decent amount of hair on floor in bathroom, dirty wash cloth hanging on handle inside show... Hilton knows how to set the bar high. This hotel is cheerful and staff very pleasant. Our room was wonderful and offered a nice kitchenette which was great to use when you are tired of eating out. Trader Joe's a 3 minute walk from the hotel entrance. Jessica was polite and pleasant and very helpful and accommodating. This will be our home away from home when visiting Lexington again. Also can walk to the Arboretum and get exercise while enjoying the nice neighborhoods.

Love the décor, spaciousness of the rooms and all the amenities. I stick with Hilton properties for business and pleasure travel and this was my first experience at a Home2. We were visiting family and it was the closest property. I was really impressed with everything, especially for non-work travel.

I was very pleased with my stay at this facility. It is located in an area that has easy access to grocery stores and eating establishments. The University of Kentucky Medical Center is a very short distance from this facility. The staff was very warm and friendly. Breakfast was wonderful. The gentleman that takes care of the breakfast visitors was great and made sure the needs of the visitor were taken care of. I hope to stay at this facility again soon.

As I have said before Hilton has done it right with the Home2 style of suite hotels. Jessica checked us in quickly and also helped us as we had a problem with the first room as it was located next to a electric room (see note in "Tips"). Great bed, great shower and efficiency units have all that you need for an extended stay. Great breakfast and location is off main road behind Trader Joes and Advance Auto Parts so no road noises. Make sure you check out Keeneland Race Track.

It was so refreshing to have a nice place to stay with friendly & helpful staff. So nice!! We have stayed a lot of places & this one has been the best. Staff was so helpful. Breakfast was good! They have breakfast sandwiches which is great! The fire pit outside was an additional place to sit around as family. It was so nice to have that at a hotel. Room was clean. Full kitchen and Keurig in my room was just a great bonus. Surely coming back to stay!

We were in town for parents weekend and stayed 2 nights at the home 2 suites in Lex. It was one of the best Hilton hotel stays I have ever had. Service was excellent. Rooms are clean and spacious. We spoke with other parents who were visiting their child and heard the horror stories of their stays ! Recommend the home 2 suites highly. And if you are from out of town and visit your child often they have special U.K. Parent rates and a club to join. Go Cats and thank you home 2 suites.

My stay at Home2 Suites was pretty good. The room was fine, but housekeeping had missed a few details. However, I was disappointed with both hallway noise and neighbors noise. The bed was very comfy and the room had nice amenities. There was a full-length mirror that was not clean and I used an end table by the sofa that was very dusty. In the scheme of things, neither was a really big deal. Overall, the hotel was acceptable.

The hotel is only a year old and I got to my room and the room was disgusting. There was hair everywhere (not mine), the room hadn't been dusted in a long time, their were water marks all over the windows and mirrors in the room and the bathroom was disgusting. I called to change rooms and my next room was better, but had several people staying in the hotel with me and had heard their rooms were not clean as well. Not sure if I'd stay here again due to the cleanliness.

I would highly recommend this property to individuals who like staying in a hotel that feels more like a mini-apartment. It is in a great location, close to restaurants, shopping, and other stores. Easy access to the Circle Road and thus easy access to all Lexington attractions. If you travel north on Nicholasville Rd., you end up in downtown Lexington and then on the northern side. Great town, great entertainment, great hotel.

Great staff, very helpful. I wish they had a hot tub.

The hotel itself is new and nice. We stayed a total of 3 nights. We tried to take our kids to the pool, however the pool was being drained so we were unable to use it.
