A very awesome hotel, with a welcoming atmosphere and a down home experience. If you're looking for a quality experience for a great price, this is it. Top Notch. They have it down to a science. This hotel might seem a little off the beaten path, but we loved that.

WOW! That's just a simple word to describe this hotel. From check in time to the excellent breakfast to check out, I was one happy customer. My room was large and on the corner. Very quiet too. I was very happy with this hotel and would for sure stay here again. CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN.....a total clean hotel means so much to a traveler.

The Embassy Suites in Lexington, KY is a good clean hotel at a accessible location off of I-75. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and the fitness room was in excellent condition. The service at check in and check out was very good. I was allowed to use the fitness center prior to my room being available which is usually a must for me.

We travel with 2 pre-teen boys so the suites are a must for us. We wanted to surprise them with the dessert tray and the staff stated it was not ready. By the time that we went to the vehicle and unloaded, the dessert tray was there and the kids were so excited. They are the nicest and most accommodating people (for this trip). The hotel is a little dated, however, it was clean and well-maintained.

This is a beautiful property. For the price of the room, there is a 2 hour manager's reception which includes some food (dips, veggies, salsas, chips, salads) as well as free drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). There is a nice restaurant on site as well. Breakfast is also included and is cook or order omelets with your choice of fillings, pancakes, and numerous other choices - at least 4 times the normal choices as compared to a Comfort Inn or the like. Wow - this hotel is big. If you are looking for a peaceful getaway, you won't find it here if the hotel is booked, as it was when we stayed here. The lines at the breakfast buffet and happy hour were long and the acoustics of the open atrium didn't dampen noise. That said, the individual room we had was fantastic. It was so big, we felt like we were staying in an apartment. We loved having a table with chairs in the front room. The bed was comfortable. The room, including the couch and ch... Read more

Overall the hotel and room was well cleaned and the staff were friendly. However, the hotel is in the middle of nowhere and the hotel restaurant prices clearly take advantage of this fact. There are only 1 or 2 independent restaurants at this exit and none enticed our palates. At the hotel restaurant pint beer was $6 - $8, entrees ranged from $15 (pasta) to $30+ (steak). There's no way on earth their prices should be so high. We had just left Chicago, have lived in some of the priciest cit... Read more

We were excited about staying at this hotel after reading the reviews, however, after arriving we were very disappointed. When we arrived they no longer had a room with two double beds so they gave us a room with a King and a roll away bed. The hotel is clean and fairly up to date. The staff is very helpful and friendly - close enough to the South for Southern hospitality. The pool and fitness room are up to date and well equipped. The chlorine removal shower near the pool is a nice feature. Lots of towels were available by the pool and in the fitness room. This is by far the best Embassy Suites I have stayed in. It's quiet, right out of the business of the city. We usually try to stay in the Embassy when we travel and visit and this is by far the best hotel of the chain. It's huge, open spaces. Water fountains grace the scenic lobby. I travel to this hotel at least once a year, usually more often. Service is always top notch. When I arrived, there was a glitch with the room rate I had booked online vs. the room I was booked into. Additionally, they gave me extra time to inspect the suite for suitability to my son, who has disabilities, before I checked in.

We had challenges during our stay: internet dead zone in our room, TV on the blink, and the A/C not cooling. So they changed my room, changed my TV, and serviced my A/C. Pool was closed during our stay due to accident that occurred the day we arrived, but the fitness center was open and available with all basic cardio machines and weights. Not a great experience at all. We had a reservation months in advance and NEEDED a roll away in our room. I called a week in advance to make sure it was on our reservation because of a big conference we were attending & bringing our three teen kids. I called the day of to see if any other rooms had opened up. None had but they assured us we would have a roll away and pull out couch. Well suffice it to say we went the whole weekend with no roll away and a teen sleeping on the floor. They front de... Read more

Keep in mind when booking that this price also includes reception in evening and a nice breakfast. I am writing this review specifically to mention the superb chef at grill at breakfast. Phillip Boaz had at least 5 omelette s going at one time as well as pan cakes on the flat top...I was impressed how he memorized the orders with 10 ingredients to choose from and handed my son his omelette again confirming the ingredients...I have been to very expensive breakfasts with omelette cooks making one ... I stayed here for a week for a conference for work, and it was a nice, comfortable hotel. Second time I have been here, and will most likely return. The onsite restaurant and bar are excellent, and the evening reception is a nice touch. The fitness room and pool were clean and well-kept, and the lobby /atrium is a nice place to sit and enjoy the fountains and a drink.

Stayed at Lexington Embassy Suites where my nephew's wedding reception was held. The reception and facility were first rate from accommodating our request for an early check in through the pre-reception and the full dinner, everything was first rate and the staff was marvelous.

Great location for the purpose I was in town for. Like the nice size rooms, sleeping quarters separate from living room. Bed is comfortable but maybe not quite top notch like a Sheraton or Weston. Kitchen area by itself also with a microwave and mini frig. Always a good breakfast in the morning, a nice hot meal and they make a decent omelet.

Was just there for the weekend, we have stayed there many times since we love to come to Lexington for the horse races and other events. Embassy Suites is very clean, love how open it is and the reception and breakfast can't be beat. Only thing was they took some items off the breakfast menu which we were very disappointed in but it's still worth the extra cost to stay. The staff is always polite and helpful as well.

I stayed here when visiting Kentucky to attend a friends wedding. The apartments are sublime. A room with a comfy bed, shower room, kitchen and living room. It's like a mini home from home. Staff were so welcoming and friendly - always there to help and offer a smile. The food was lovely - fresh pancakes or eggs for breakfast. I only tried the pancakes and wow I had to work hard not to eat more in one sitting. Really delicious. The bar was lovely and served lovely beer. With the bartender gi... Read more

Embassy Suites is always a favorite for a relaxed, enjoyable experience. The staff are the best! They are most courteous and help make the atmosphere so welcoming. The free breakfast is the best that can be found. I love the friendliness of all the staff and most of them have been there for a long time so it is like going home for a visit.

I have stayed in Lexington many times in the past. However, this was my first time at the Embassy Suites. It is massive compared to other places, but it has a real personal touch. After checking in, the host comes out from behind the counter and helps direct you to the elevators and shows you where different thing are. There was a large convention going on there while I was there, so there was a 0630 bottle neck at the "cooked to order" grill. This had thinned out by the end of the week we... Read more

Always like Embassy Suites and this one in Lexington was no exception. Very nice inside and out. Room was perfect. Did not give 5 stars for three reasons: 1) price - $300 for Sat night stay. 2) very few garbage receptacles on grounds or in common areas. The ones I found were overflowing. 3) Breakfast was very crowded and slow. The food and choices were excellent, but they needed more staff to move people along. I would stay here again, but only if the price was less than $200, which it app... Read more

Very decent, three problems. One: there was carpet getting installed and the installer was so loud. We thought it was the elevator. Two: everything was gold and had fingerprints on it. Three: Our room was 512 and it was in a little hallway so we couldn't get a view of the hotel. Breakfast was great.

We were surprised with beautiful flowers, a bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and a fruit/vegetable tray. The breakfast and complementary drinks were another GREAT perk! We love The Embassy Suites and their amazing staff members! A huge thank you to Kay Higgins and Martin Borowski!

This hotel did have a lot of nice features when I looked at the reviews. Unfortunately, we encountered a lot of problems when we got there. Our initial room did not have a working refrigerator, which we needed. They switched us to a different room, which was great. That room was ok. The beds were super soft and comfy, but everything else was sub par. Our bathroom didn't have a working fan. The lighting was terrible - we were almost always in the dark. Stayed at the hotel for a conference. Overall the decor is a little outdated and the one set of elevators is a hassle. The hotel is clean, food is decent but pricey. Staff could be a little friendlier and the internet was spotty. Only complaint about the room is the sofa, there were stains on it and the curtain that is on the window looking into the hotel.

When I arrived the hotel did not have a room for me, although I had received a reservation confirmation from them. The clerk turned me away. I had to speak to a manager who "forced" a room for me. The suite reeked of cigarette smoke and the coffee maker did not work. They still charged me the same ridiculous rate, even though it was a terrible experience.

The hotel and our room was very nice. The room had a great bed and the shower was outstanding. The only downer was the breakfast. We made a mistake by not getting the freshly prepared food (omelets, etc.). Instead we tried the breakfast buffet which included scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage. By the time you got to your table the foods was cold. So I would recommend getting the freshly prepared items. The staff at the hotel was quite friendly.
