The room we were in was clean and nice but needed attention. There was no light bulb in the lamp on the desk and the bedside light on the right side (when facing the beds) did not have a switch so the only way to turn the light off was to unscrew the bulb.

My family and I stayed here following a day at mammoth cave. It is about a 15 min drive to get to the hotel from the park. The location was good as it was off the highway near fast food restaurants. Check in was quick and simple and the hotel offered free wifi. They also pointed out nearby restaurants including a pizza place that delivered to the hotel which was really convenient. This location is a typical Hampton Inn. The staff was nice and friendly and any issues were quickly rectified. The breakfast is typical, no great shakes, but fills you up nonetheless less. Location to local attractions is okay. Only drawback is the lack of other decent restaurants in the area.

We decided to visit Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky while traveling through the state. Although Cave City, Ky was closer to the Park, the only Hampton was a few miles up the road in Horse Cave, Ky. Right off the interstate this hotel is a typical Hampton Inn, except for its remote location. There is nothing else at that exit and the town of Horse Cave is quite a ways off the freeway exit. But it was up to the consistent standards that I have come to expect from a Hampton. Clean room... Read more

We had a horrid time there and the staff didn't even care. They put retirees without kids across from the pool. By the time the noise finally died down, the window air unit kept waking everyone up from excessive noise. The TV, phone, electric outlet, closet door, and bathtub drain didn't work. We could have gotten past most of it if the staff hadn't been extremely rude to us when we mentioned the things that weren't working

Hampton inns are always our best bet. We have yet to have a negative experience. It is always clean, and comfortable. Beds and pillows were comfortable. This hotel is surrounded by an area that is waiting to be developed. Only one other hotel off the exit. There is not much close by ( gas stations, stores etc). and things close early in the area. We wanted to order pizza at 9 pm but the only place that was around had closed already .

We had to change rooms twice because of housekeeping issues with the first room and a non working TV in the second room. There were 3 of us staying in the room and we had only 1 little bottle of shampoo in the room for the 3 of us. Our waste baskets were not emptied and there was trash left in one of the drawers. The water fountain by the pool did not work. We did receive a refund because we were not 100% satisfied.

At nearly twice the price of other local hotels, it was a simple room, clean, but blah. The TV was frustrating. For some reason it had channels broken into decimals, 36.2 36.4, 37.4, 38.2, etc. You can't enter decimals into a remote. Also the TV listings were different. Channel 14 turned out to be 38.4. To move through the channels you could only use up and down arrows. Breakfast was Hampton Inn awesome, but was that enough to pay double? Not so sure.

Very convenient to Mammoth Cave and the town of Horse Cave. Excellent hotel staff. Great service and were very helpful with helping us find dinner as well as things to do in the area - and how to get there. Let us park our motorcycles overnight off to the side under the entryway. Kept our bikes dry and visible. Will definitely stay here again.

From the minute you walk in, all you smell is clean. A wonderful clean place. Employees could not be more helpful, and an extra special shout out to the woman that does the wonderful breakfast. She worked hard to make sure everything was hot and fresh, and it was delicious. For a place that is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, we had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back Oh and thank you so much for the dining recommendations, they were very helpful

We were attending a friends wedding in Munfordville, Ky. We were traveling with friends and we were completely satisfied with our room and accommodations. The Hotel Staff were attentive, friendly and helpful! We did not use any other of the hotels services, but we did enjoy fresh baked chocolate chip cookies upon our return to the hotel after the wedding. Check out was easy and painless. If we ever have the need to be in the area again we will definitely book our rooms here.

My boyfriend and i came to a car show in bowling green. We chose to stay at the Hampton horse cave because of the location. When we arrived (later than we exspected) the front desk Guy was very nice and friendly. Said if we had any issues to just contact him. We got to our room and the House keepers had left the old sheets in a pile next to the Tv. Our second issue was the Tv wouldn't work at all. We called front desk and he true to solve the problem, and offered to switch our room aswell. After... Read more

Stayed here 5 yrs ago and nothing has changed. This is an OK place to stay overnight but it is right off the interstate and there is nothing around. Have to drive several miles to a restaurant and choices are minimal. Rooms and breakfast are OK, clean with comfortable beds. We had a Jacuzzi tub in a separate room which was nice after a long travel day. Staff is pleasant. However, unlike most Hamptons, rooms do not have refrigerators or microwaves. When we asked the desk clerk about it,... Read more

Awesome room and amenities. Wonderful breakfast offered. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Kids enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. We had 5 guests and they promptly brought a roll-away bed. Only had one issue with a malfunctioning TV set and I didn't want them to have to call someone in to fix it. Great stay all the way around.

Stopped here on our way from MI to FL. The hotel was clean and comfortable. We took advantage of the breakfast in the morning and it was better than average. Great fruit choices (papaya!) waffles, cereal, eggs etc. no problems with our room. We didn't have time to check out the pool and we never received the code for internet. There aren't many dining options close by. If we wanted something other than Subway or a sit down that was closed we would've had to get back on the highway and go 5 miles... Read more

We booked a spa room since we were going to do some hiking and caving and wanted to have a whirlpool to come back to. The curtains were coming off the track and the TV didn't work. We called the front desk and were moved to a regular room, however because we were moved the front desk neglected to let the housekeeping department know so we did not have maid service the following day. The rest of our stay was good. Breakfast was adequate.

A so-so Hampton. Room a bit small, no refrig or microwave. Did not realize that our room would face the highway and it is extremely noisy from the traffic; I felt as if my bed was in the median of the interstate. The door was missing off the closet and there were spots on the carpet. The chairs in the breakfast area were upholstered in some sort of brown velvety fabric and almost every one of them had dried on food or milk stains on them. I think the place needs a major refurb. One would... Read more

First, I was really surprised that there were no refrig or microwave in the room. I thought those items were a standard deal in Hamptons. Second, the hotel was super close to the highway, and I could hear the traffic. There are no immediate restaurants near by, you have to go up a few miles to the Cave exit to find a place to eat. However, the bed and clean room did meet my expectations of Hampton Inns. I was NOT impressed with the young man while we were checking out. I handed him a postcard (... Read more
