Stayed here for the weekend as the hotels near Lexington were full due to the horse show. Clean hotel with great staff. I would recommend asking not to be in the rooms near the pool as the noise carries ( we were room 102). Hallway noise can carry into the room but luckily those kids went to bed and the noise subsided. Would stay here again.

We were traveling through from Tulsa to the NY, and driving a Penske truck, so I wanted to avoid Cincinnati, Hampton Inn are always a great choice, but what made this one better was the staff, the front desk night manager was a young man named Robert, he just made the trip perfect. The hotel is spotless, and has a great pool, it is a VERY small town, but perfect as a midway point during a trip. We faced route 75 but the windows were good quality, and we did not hear any road noise.

The Dry ridge Hampton Inn did not meet the Hampton standards I am accustomed to. I stayed two nights - returning to my room after the first day, the wet towels were still on the bathroom floor, and the room had not been cleaned. The breakfast area was not large enough to accommodate all the guests, and the pancakes were rubbery, the pastries dried out. Although the rooms were air-conditioned, the halls were not. The staff was average and seemed to be overworked. I never saw any housekeeping... Read more

We have stayed at many Hampton Inns, & this is definitely one of the dirtier ones. The housekeeping staff needs to pay attention to the little things like dusting the lamps, tables, etc. The breakfast was OK. I realize there are not many choices of hotels/motels in Dry Ridge, but that should not lessen the quality. Our room key was mis-programmed two times during our 3 night stay which was very inconvenient. This doesn't speak well of the front desk.

I called this hotel five times in the months leading up to our visit.... Mainly because their online booking system was not allowing me to book online. Every time I called, the front desk put me on hold, told me they were too busy to talk, and once asked me to call back in an hour. Once we arrived, we never saw more than one person at the front desk. In fact... We called for extra towels at 10:30 pm and were told they were too busy to bring us any. This Hampton location shouldn't even fall under the Hilton Hampton's line of hotels. This hotel is an older building, and it's clearly showing it's age. The water from the tub smelled earthy. I'm a Hilton gold member, so I've stayed in a ton of Hilton properties. This Hampton Inn shouldn't carry the Hilton torch. Bottom line, it's probably a very old Hampton. We agree with the "Needs TLC" and "Growing Pains" reviews recently posted. As you enter the hotel to check in at the front desk, you can really smell the chlorine from the pool (which when we walked passed the pool to the elevators the pool looked cloudy). Our room was spacious with a sofa and comfy chair. Beds were comfortable. Large vanity area with a separate room for tub/shower and toilet. One of the entrance doors was not working that made it more difficult to get luggage, etc., to our room. The drain in the tub was very slow leaving one person waiting to shower. This hotel could use more handicapped parking and located closer to the entrance doors. There were only 2 luggage carts at this hotel, definitely not enough. Breakfast was good an... Read more

Stayed here with a large group this weekend. They were ready for us when we arrived and rooms were nice and clean, though not spacious. Each room had a microwave and fridge. Had to ask for enough towels for each person in my room even though we sent them a rooming list in advance, but that's not a big deal as most guests probably don't have four people in a room. It was nice that they had breakfast, and it had a good variety including scrambled and hard boiled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy... Read more

It was a nice hotel with friendly employees. It was in close proximity to the Creation Museum and Noah's Ark. The breakfast was very good and other accommodations were excellent as well. We would highly recommend the Hampton in Dry Ridge KY.

Minus the bad experience checking in, and getting put in a dirty room, hotel was clean and room I got was clean, and I did not have any other issues while I was there. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is a very handy hotel if you're visiting the Ark Encounter. It was clean and a good value, and the kids loved the swimming pool and afternoon cookies. It's an especially good location if you're adding a trip to the Creation Museum.

Stayed here a couple of nights while visiting the Ark Encounter. Hotel is pretty clean, but they are doing some work on the facility that caused some minor inconvenience. Found room to be clean, but air conditioner thermostat wasn't working. Reported issue with thermostat and maintenance took care of it while we were out. The elevators are about midway of the building and there is an entrance with parking on the west side of the building.

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. The location was perfect for visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. The only issue we had was a smell in our room. However, I admit I did not tell the staff so that they could fix it.

My husband and I recently stayed here while visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We found the hotel clean, quiet, and comfortable. Close to many fast food restaurants and shopping center very near. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

I arrived around midnight so was happy to see an open Diamond parking space as all other parking spots seemed to be full. I was not pleased to be on the first floor as the hallway music comes through the door and I could hear it. There must have been some tour groups or something as early in the morning, busses were quite loud with their diesel engines and back up beeping sounds. I was happy that this Hampton is set back from the highway as I did not pick up on any highway noise. Free breakf... Read more

When I arrived at the posted check-in time, I was informed that my room was not ready and to check back in an hour. Not being from the area, this was rather inconvenient. When I returned, a room was ready. I was placed in room 401 - a suite style room at the end of the hall on the fourth floor. The room was very spacious, but the HVAC was very temperamental. After setting the temperature to a cooler one, I noticed about a half hour later that heat was blowing from the vent. It seems that the th... Read more

This hotel charges for incidentals which we used none. Called hotel and they said it was for possible breakage. Never been charged extra than confirmation quote before at any hotel. The hotel itself was great. Just didn't like the extra charge when my credit card bill came.

I was in charge of a group of thirty-five people, and we required ten rooms. Our stay was flawless. The staff was tremendous and the cleanliness of the Dry Ridge Hampton Inn, as well as the great breakfast, were top of the line.

Very convenient location with easy access to restaurants. Not much noise insulation between rooms or floors. Very noisy, so hard to sleep. Housekeeping skipped us one day, so they must be short of help for the amount of business they have. Front desk staff were excellent.

This Hamptons is very accessable for the Ark encounter. I can see why it is popular and busy. Get a most comfortable sleep, and a nutricious breakfast. Relax in pool and hot tub. Friendly staff to book you in and greet you. Busy kitchen staff to help you. An enjoyable stop. Not the first time here and definitely not the last. Thank you!

The place looks great. They have updated since I stayed here four years ago. Our family complained that the breakfast was not good but I thought it was okay. We weren't here long enough this time to make use of the pool. I'm glad we had reservations as the night we stayed there the entire hotel was booked full.

Very satisfied over all with our stay! Easy off and on I-75. Nice pool. Could use a little more parking. Pretty decent breakfast. Comfortable beds and linens. Could use a few more towels in the room, without having to call down for them

Nice lobby and nice staff. Lobby and breakfast area clean. Room itself was clean but not the bathroom. Toilet was dirty and had remnants of past guests. Shower was dirty and moldy. Pillows were horrible, none firm, head went straight through them to the bed. Thermostat in room didn't work as well, room was burning hot. I would change temperature and it would work for 20 minutes then go back to original setting. Noisy as well, in the room you hear everything in hallway and in neighboring ... Read more
