First of all they're doing some remodeling and the new bathrooms are very, very nice. The bar is nice with great service. Good beer selection including some crafts, and also a nice selection of liquor. Really the service and attitudes of the staff was great the whole week I was there. Very friendly people. It's in a short walking distance of 7 or 8 resturaunts and a gas station, so no need to drive anywhere, which is nice because this is basically downtown Cincinnati. Actually have good coffee i... I have to say that as many hotels that I've stayed in this hotel had the friendliest staff. Everyone on their staff that we came in contact with was absolutely the nicest and most helpful of any. The rooms were very clean. I loved the enclosed glass shower with plenty of clean towels. We stayed here because my wife ran the Flying Pig Marathon. Checkout was at 11 am but after explaining that she wouldn't be done with the race by then, they extended it till 1:00 pm. We didn't arrive back to ... Read more

Trolly/shuttle gets you to Cinci sports venues and convention center. Very friendly staff who handled issues. Small bathroom but nice shower. Internet works well. Outdoor pool and fitness room.

The room was spacious but everything is shabby. To get hot water in the sink or the shower be prepared to wait at least 10 min. Imagine how convenient it is in the morning. The reception desk is very helpful but they hardly can do anything. We asked for a small fridge in advance and it was delivered, but it worked as a freezer even at the lowest setting. Everything was ruined. My last night there I was too tired to go out so I ordered room service. I was told: right away. In 1 h I cancelled my o... Read more

The hotel was under going renovations but everything was done during the day. Our room was exceptionally clean and the staff was wonderful, they helped us with breakfast with free food vouchers. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel reservation line gave us a better deal than I could get on-line. The manager was everywhere helping where he could and asked if there was anything we needed every time we seen him.

The room was okay, however I have now paid nearly $600 for one room. I booked and paid for my hotel thru priceline. I gave my credit card upon check in for incidentals. Overnight my card was charged the full amount of the hotel room. We stayed at this hotel last weekend and expected that we would have a view of the river based on the name of the hotel - Riverfront. This is the worst hotel stay I have ever had. The first morning of our stay, I walked down to get some ice. As I was walking back to the room, I witnessed a housekeeper having a crying fit in the hall. She was surrounded by all of the other housekeepers. It was quite a commotion. The second day of our stay, we returned in the evening to find our room had not been touched. At almost $200 for 1 nite, I was terribly disappointed. I wouldn't have minded the small room & tiny bathroom if the cost hadn't been so high. And the pool was full of leaves, etc. The staff was very friendly & we didn't have any major issues - I just feel like it was an $85 per night room that I paid $200 for. Next door the Marriot has an indoor small pool, 5 foot deep at one end. On the river front 10 minutes from the Levee, football and baseball. Restaurant on site. White Castle 1 minute walk.

I wouldn't recommend this place to couples trying to be romantic or families with kids but it was perfect for a Bachelorette or bachelor party!!!! The pool was kind of gross but after my sister cleaned it for an hour it was safe to stand in (but not to put your face in). The night time staff was great but the day staff needs some training. We enjoyed our stay at this property. It is an interesting place, very old in some respects but in the midst of a nice renovation. One warning, there are not really any true "river view" rooms at this property. If you do have a back-facing room and you crane your neck way around to the right out the window, you might see some water! Nice modern hotel. I was told we would have a room with a view of the Ohio River and a beautiful view of the Cincinnati skyline. In reality, all you can see is the back side of the levee along the Ohio River. Hotel is nice but don't fall for the "view"!!! Location was "ok", but the price was higher than I would have paid knowing there is no view. There is a bus pickup in front of the hotel that takes you withing a couple blocks of the Reds stadium for $1 each way.

Drove here from Milwaukee,WI to catch the Bengals vs Bills game! After a long drive it was nice to have a welcoming check in from their AGM Will. He was very informative about the area, and gave us tips on how to easily get to the Paul Brown Stadium. Had a really great experience in the dining area for breakfast Darlene Freeman and Reggie Mack were very helpful!!! Would definitely come back to visit!!! The Holiday Inn Riverfront is one of the best hotels this city has to offer!!! I didn't feel rushed to eat like most hotels would. Reggie helped me to my car I thought that was very considerate being that I'm disabled!!! Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and Friends!!!

We really enjoyed our stay. We were stopping up in our way back to Columbus. Location is near Newport and Cincinnati. Both are awesome nightlife areas. In addition we were across from some amazing riverfront pizza! Walk in shower, nice beds, just what we needed.

My family and I were on a quick visit to Cincinnati and Holiday Inn Cincinnat Riverfront was our night hang out with Karis the Bartender. We had a lovely time with Karis, she made us so comfortable, we laughed, food was so good. The best part was the bartender Karis. Hotel is conveniently located and will surely come back and will recommend this hotel to others.

Darlene Freeman is fantastic and deserves a raise and a big bonus. Always has a smile even under stressful circumstances (one week of a dead electrical outlet for toaster and chafing dish); very professional, friendly and "quick". Hotel guests seemed to just love her - and for good reason. Ingrid was wonderful to my flu ridden, cranky husband and we greatly appreciated her attentivness. She also deserves a raise and big bonus.

Ingrid was very nice and very helpful. She met all of our needs. She helped us learn how to use the coffee maker. She gave us directions to the Duke Energy Center where Redsfest was being held. We've had a fantastic experience so far.
