Stayed for 2 nights for a conference at the convention center. Good convenient location near the convention center (under a mile walking), and great area for restaurants with lots of top choices nearby. "Riverfront" is true, but the view is of the large highway bridge, with trees mostly obscuring the view. Covington could really do something to improve the riverfront like many other cities have; walking/biking paths, green spaces, etc. If those exist, they don't go this far. Hotel staff is... Read more

A friend and I stayed 1 night while we were in town for a concert. Very clean and accommodating. Warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival, and a warm greeting. Our room was nice and beds comfortable. Convenient location, don't let the surroundings deter you. Hot, complimentary breakfast that was very clean and delicious. Would definitely return!

Staff are very friendly and helpful. Location not so great a seedy liquor store is in the parking lot and the lighting is not great at night. The security guard was eating snacks and watching TV in the lobby - so feeling really at ease and safe - not so much. The Loby is updated but the luggage cart (only one) was rickety and broken at one end so our first impression were not fantastic. I didnt want to pay downtown prices so I stayed outside of Cincinnati area. I was disappointed in my choice. Overall the hotel is good. The breakfast in the morning is nice and the hotel staff were consistently very helpful and friendly. The area around the hotel isn't the best but the travel to-from Cincinnati, particularly the sports venues is great. The big downside is the hotel is loud due to thin walls. It was very easy to know what people were talking about in their rooms, when people would travel down the hallways, and what channels people had on the TV. Thankfully most people realized the sound... Read more

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at a Hilton brand hotel in the past 2 months. Both times, my reservations did not match what the front desk had in their computer. I find this unacceptable, especially when the employee wants to argue with you about it. I booked with my Hilton Honors again just to give it a second try and this hotel had very cheap rates. My check-in set the tone for a poor hotel stay. There were crumbs on the sheets of the sofa bed. The king bed also had some unknown dirt o... Read more

This is a good place to stay if you are going to a ballgame. Our room was clean and the staff was nice and friendly. You can take the tank bus across to stadium which we did one night. The next day we drove to the Newport Levee which is just down the road and parked for the day. Its a nice place to walk around, there's shopping and places to eat. You can take a ferry or bus from there or walk across the bridge to Cincinnati . We would stay here again.

We typically stay at Hampton Inn's because they change the bed covers between every guest. The rooms are predictable, the wi-fi is free, and the breakfast buffet is hot and good. There were quite a few restaurants we would like too ave tried.

I've stayed at many Hampton Inns. This is not one of their best. Location is convienient to sports stadiums and waterfront if you have a car, but there is nothing within walking distance, and the immediate area is not the best. Room was average but clean. The breakfast was well below average. Mussins were stale one day. so cqlled scrambled eggs were artificial tastless. Price was high given disappointing quality of stay.

This Hampton has the normal amenities, breakfast, and refrigerator. The inn is old and needs updating. The carpet has seen better days and could stand replacing. Bathe King mattress was softer than I normally find at a Hampton, I like the firmness. There is no shuttle to get you into Ohio if you need access to events across the river. My stay was less than I expected from a typical Hampton Inn. This hotel apparently is aging and they are in the process of renovating. The bathroom has some cracks in the tile, the mattress is not as comfortable as I am used too. The breakfast area is decent with hot food. The fitness room and pool were kept up nice. The hotel is not equipped for long stays as they do not have a washer or dryer anywhere. Parking is limited too as you may not be able to find a space.

The staff was good, like all the Hampton Inn's I have stayed at, however the room was worn and the loveseat dirty. The bathroom was clean, but the HVAC system for the room was noisy which made it impossible to sleep. The hotel is under renovation right now so it will probably be better after the renovations are complete, but as of right now I wasn't impressed.

Hotel was under renovation, which was not disclosed prior to arrival. The parking lot was filled with heavy machinery and we were forced to use the back entrance, which wasn't particularly safe. Service was ok, staff was friendly but room was gross. Old, stained carpet, wrinkled sheets and towels, and moldy shower. Would not stay again.

They are very friendly staff. I was there for a medical procedure and the staff was understanding and helpful through it all. The room was very well arranged. Clean smelling and tidy hotel. We were so pleased we wound up staying a couple days more.

Didn't have too much choice of a hotel , consequently price was wayyyy to high for what we had , double the price it should of been. Plus hard to find! There are not enough hotels in the area if one visits the creation museum and the Ark encounter. This hotel was under some construction outside , so it was not as nice as it could be . Also rooms could also use an update. But breakfast was great!!

I always only choose the Hilton brand when I travel and this hotel certainly met my high expectations of a hotel. Easy check in, nice clean hotel and guest room, complimentary breakfast and helpful staff. Will definitely stay again

The hotel was a standard Hampton Inn. It was clean and the staff was friendly. The biggest negative for me was the area. There were boarded up houses just across the street, a liquor store and carry out in the same parking lot, people standing on the street corner...the area was very sketchy! The front desk staff was very helpful. I forgot a fan to help my daughter and I sleep. The front desk promptly came to the rescue providing a fan from one of the back offices.

We came for a wedding in Cincinnati. This was a great location. Used Uber to travel to and from the hotel. It was easy to find and there were plenty of restaurants close by, including the famous Skyline Chili that my kids love (stayed open to 3:00am on Saturday night). In addition, there were convenient gas stations on the way out of town. Staff was very friendly. All in all a great place to stay.

We chose the hotel to be closed to downtown Cincinnati and that is accurate. The neighborhood is a little sketchy but not unsafe. The breakfast on the other hand needed a lot of help. We only had options of waffles, eggs, and turkey sausage. There was ample cereal but was looking forward to a hot breakfast. Not at all what we wanted.

Stayed 2 nights while in town for work. Check in went really fast and they were very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Nice room and very clean. It was a nice perk that they offer breakfast. Hard to complain about a free breakfast, but the eggs were pretty rough. They did offer a wide variety of other choices. I would definitely stay here again.

This Hampton was below par, and should be in jeopardy of losing the Hilton brand. I am a loyal Hilton patron, and a silver honors member. I have stayed at nearly every kind of Hilton, including several Hamptons. The Hampton in Covington was, without a doubt, the worst experience I ever had in any Hilton hotels. Let me first say that this experience will in no way deter me from visiting another Hilton. Overall, I am happy with Hilton hotels. And even when something goes wrong, I have never ... Read more

We blocked 20 rooms for wedding guests and the local manager helped book transportation to and from the hotel to our venue. Everyone was very friendly, the check in process was easy and quick and the rooms were nice, clean and nicely laid out. Thanks for a great experience and a special touch in our room the night of our wedding :)

We stayed one night at the Hampton Inn Cincinnati Riverfront as our half way point while traveling for the Holiday. We then changed our reservation to another hotel for our return stay. The room was aged, the bathroom dirty, some kind of mystery dirt also smeared on the wall next to the bed. Dust in the vents. Mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom and between the tiles. The neighborhood was sketchy and the food options near by were severely lacking. The only good thing about this hotel wa... Read more

If you forget anything in the room after you leave you will never see it again. Also the riverview is more a view of the garbage piles than of the river. The repairs going on is the best part of the hotel.

Hotel is undergoing renovations. The fitness area needs improvements. Lots of improvement. And breakfast needs an update. very few healthy choices. The staff is very friendly and eager to help. Easy access to Downtown Cincinnati.
