Traveling to participate in a children's event at the Expo. It was close enough with some restaurants close by for family style dining. They advertise a pool but it wasn't open in the middle of May which was disappointing to the kids we were with. The breakfast area is very clean and will accommodate a large group. They served a great breakfast every morning with a hot choice and the typical continental breakfast but with options of juices, fruits, yogurts, breads, etc. I would highly recommend ... Read more

Property is well manicured and very clean. Room was clean and comfortable. Bathroom is roomy and nice. Breakfast was very good. Staff was excellent. Only negative is the small fitness center. 3 pieces of cardio and free weights with a bench was sufficient, but room was way too small and crazy warm. Need fans!! Great trip overall..

Hotel was good overall. TV channels kept breaking up and were unable to watch anything. Hotel checked but told us it worked fine when they checked. After they checked, it was better but still not working correctly. Otherwise good, far from much of anything in louisville

We checked in later in the afternoon. The front desk staff (Marybeth, I think) was wonderful! She went out of her way to give us dinner suggestions and even called the restaurant to make certain they we open. She was very helpful and even offered to give us a blanket to sit outside. The rooms were very clean and the hotel was very quiet. We will stay here again.

Overnight trip on the Memorial Day weekend. Hotel was fully booked and it did not deter from the quality of the experience or the property. Arrived and found a very friendly and helpful staff. Lobby was welcoming and neat. Check-in was quickly completed since it was initially completed online which was smooth and convenient. Requested a room changed (to one King Bed--and upgraded to room with a whirlpool) and the staff was quick to accommodate. Room was very spacious and extremely clean--fl... Read more

We weren't planning on staying here as we were driving home from vacation but I became ill and we needed to stop. At about 10:30 we booked this hotel online and arrived an hour later. The room was spotless and check in was quick. My husband and kids ate breakfast and said it was good. The kids were able to use the outdoor pool before we left and loved it. I was able to rest and feel better before we hit the road again.

The internet would not connect in my room, so the front desk gave me the 800 technical support #. Technician asked me to change a lot of settings on my computer, but nothing worked. He said I needed to contact HP to see what was wrong with my computer. I had used my computer that AM and it worked fine, so I went to the front desk and was able to get online in the lobby. The front desk clerk called the tech support again from the lobby and said she would transfer the call to my room so this n... Read more

Hotel itself was very nice but it is right by interstate and the traffic noise was loud. I feel that a room on the opposite side of hallway would take care of noise. At this one ask for a room on the front side of building.

My wife, daughter and I traveled here on the way to Tennessee. The room and bathroom was clean. Everything looked good and the breakfast the next morning was a good start to the day. I recommend this place. Our only issue was the noise and echo of the kids who were there in the lobby next to our room. I suppose if it hadn't been raining so hard the baseball players and their parents might have been outside or somewhere else instead of congregating in the lobby.

This Hampton Inn was very clean, but I was expecting possibly indoor pool, hot tub for the price. Towels and linen good quality. Breakfast staff pleasant attentive and kept the area very nice. I would stay again

Great experience, after traveling a long distance. The evening/night shift attendant (MARY BETH) and the WONDERFUL lady who prepares the breakfast have made the stay AWESOME! They are extremely hospitable and genuinely good people! We will miss them and their personal attention and courtesy. The cleaning crew was also very good at fulfilling our needs (all five of us). If the manager decides to have an evening Manager's Dinner, that would be fantastic!!

I stopped at this hotel for the night while traveling home from the Gulf. It is located right off of I-65 making it very convenient for travelers. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. My entire family also enjoyed the complimentary breakfast in the morning before we got back on the road.

For the first time while visiting family in the area, I was going to need a hotel near their homes and scheduled festivities. I stressed about where to stay, but used the great reviews on TripAdvisor as a guide. The reviews couldn't have been more accurate; this is a great place to stay! The hotel is clean, up-to-date, and has a wonderful staff in all capacities. We stayed for five nights, and breakfast was delicious every morning. I am so happy to have found this Hampton Inn and will defin... Read more

Nice Hotel. Polite and nice staff. Clean comfortable room. Easy location from I-65. We went to Louisville for a concert event and did not want to stay downtown. The concert venue was only a 10-15 minute drive.

Mary Beth, the front desk attendant the night I stayed, truly went the extra mile for me. I had left my vehicle's lights on. Mary Beth spotted it on the parking lot cameras, identified the state on my license plate, went through the guest list and identified me and my room, and called my room to let me know so that I could turn them off and prevent a dead battery the next morning. Who could ask for better? Usual Hampton Inn features and amenities all solid and up to snuff. Would certainly s... Read more

Hotel was ok, but located on a worn street which definitely takes away from normal Hampton Inn expectations. Hotel was clean, fresh, good staff, breakfast was good. If I went back to this location again, I'd stay at one of the other hotel choices.

Accidentally put in the wrong date ( one day prior), arrived to find we had been charged the full rate for a room we didn't even get to use and no rooms available for us to stay. One day late and no mercy! The manager said it was our fault and this was business...had to find another room 25 more miles away....won't be staying here ever! The young lady at the front desk was very nice but could not help us...she left a note for the manager to call us but he did not. I had to call him and he was no... Read more

The stay at the Hampton Inn was great. The only problem we had was room smelt like cigarettes. I'm not sure who was smoking but the smell was imbedded into the shower curtains. I did let the office know and they gave me a can of Free-breeze. We checked in late. Hotel was full and there really was nothing else they could do. The staff did what they could for us.

We 'tried' a Best Western. The entire hotel smelled like moldy basement, and our room was worse. And it actually cost MORE than this South Louisville Hampton Inn. This hotel was sparkling clean, smelled great, and the staff was helpful and very friendly. whoever manages this hotel gets it. You won't be disappointed. Stay HERE!

Small hotel compared to other Hampton Inns, but clean, quiet, up to date, all you can ask for if you need to stay in this neighborhood. Internet access and speed was so-so. Plenty of channels on the cable TV.

Mary Beth is a credit to Hampton. She is always a pleasure to see after a hard day on site or late flight arrival. For extended stay, the laundry on-site (although $$) is great as well as the exercise area.

We ONLY stay at Hampton Inns, but were very, very disappointed in the bed and so glad we had only booked the room for one night. Upon checkout, I told the front desk employee that we would probably have had a better nights sleep if we had slept on the marble countertop in the lobby. She asked me what our room number was and then sad, "Sorry!"

Very clean. Friendly staff. Nice hotel for that area and price. The only problem was with the weak internet signal on the third floor. The free breakfast was very good, much better than you usually find at hotels in this price range.

This hotel was very comfortable, but could be better maintained. The television wasn't working properly. Betty, the desk clerk on duty, was very helpful. When she couldn't get it to work, she offered us a different room. Hotel was in a good location off the interstate.

This is our 6th Hampton this month. The room was clean except for the huge dead bug in the bathroom. Decor was in need of updates Staff was very courteous Breakfast was one of the worst. Breads and pastries dry. Toaster didn't work. Eggs scrambled so fine they were crumbs you needed to stab with your fork. Canadian bacon was dry and shriveled. This hotel was my home away from home during a new store set for the company I work for back in February and March 2015. I was able to stay at this location again this trip. Great location, clean, lives up to the Hampton Inn brand of hotels. Spacious breakfast dining area, good selection of breakfast items. The breakfast attendant is very pleasant and socialable.
