This hotel is excellent. The location, atmosphere, service, food, view and value are all excellent. We were in town for a soccer tournament and this hotel worked out perfectly for us. The pool was a nicer refresher after a long day in the sun. The check in was incredibly fast and efficient. The service was great from every employee we interacted with. The room was excellent and roomy. Only bummer was there was not a fridge. The view of the golf course was very relaxing. The restaurant buffe... Read more

I stayed here in 2014 and it is still as wonderful now. Was there for the C4 Gathering at the NCM. They treated our group very well. New (to me anyway) was their shuttle service. They took about 20 of us to a local Restaurant and picked us up. A day later shuttled us to the NCM for our banquet and again picked us up. Just speak to the front desk to make arrangements. I strongly recommend this property when staying in Bowling Green.

We stayed here for a convention and were excited for our stay based on previous reviews. Once we went to the room, I immediately noticed that the bathroom layout was awful. Not only are there no towel racks, but there also wasn't a vent to keep the mirrors from steaming up. The soap holder in the shower, wasn't big enough to hold my razor or soap. The bathroom wasn't exceptionally clean either. The other minus was the lack of mini-fridge. Breakfast is available for an extra surcharge, although I... Read more

You can tell that this was a very nice hotel at one time, and still is, just dated and a little worn. It is clean and comfortable so for the price it is great. The common areas are beautiful. Each level overlooks the common area on the first floor. We never ate at the restaurant so I cannot comment on it, but there is one in the hotel. I would stay there again.

We stayed while in town for a percussion competition. There were several parents who also stayed here. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very good about accommodating our needs. The front desk staff were always nice and polite but not as personable and welcoming as you would get in a smaller hotel. They had to move guests in and out quickly. It's a larger hotel so they have a lot of people going through. They're not going to remember you as you come and go. There are pluses... Read more

We stayed two nights here to take a rest break from a road trip. Hotel seems to be more for business and conventions instead of casual traveler. We were on 7th floor with nice view via a super large window. Clean, comfortable huge room. No fridge or microwave. Indoor pool is nice but no hot tub. Restaurant in hotel. No breakfast included with room. Atrium area is very attractive and staff were courteous. Had false fire alarm at 6:30 AM but hotel apologized.

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. I think it is one of the nicest Holiday Inn's in which we have ever stayed. That's why we came back. The lobby/atrium is particularly nice and really quite impressive. The bar area is also nice although I wish they would make it a little less contemporary and a little more cozy. We were upgraded to a suite which we were told was the result of a random drawing of Holiday Inn rewards members and, also, given 500 extra points.

Wonderful place to stay. Food was delicious, staff courteous and friendly! Rooms were clean and hotel was beautiful. The atrium was very relaxing with the waterfall fountain and border of rock lined streams. Didn't get a chance to use the pool, but it looked nice. Many guests were using it. I would stay again.

The breakfast buffet is terrific with made to order eggs and omelets. If your staying in Bowling Green I would recommend you stay here..

This was a great hotel. The rooms were clean, beds were comfy, and the food was great. I don't care much for indoor pools but the kids had a blast regardless. The hotel was located near stores and restaurants and only 10 minutes from beech end amusement park.

Wonderful staff very helpful and very nice. Rooms are decent size. The bed is very hard. Microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator in the room. Pretty clean Hotel all around. Breakfast is your plane Jane breakfast nothing special. Indoor swimming pool. Golf Course right next door. Did have problem with AC in room very noisy. I let the front desk know about it and they did get it fixed in no time.

When you walk in the atrium is open up to about eight stories. Nice and white. We choose this hotel because it has a bar and restaurant. We checked in and the room was nice and clean. Some hotels smell strong with air freshener and this hotel is just right. We were disappointed with the meal selection at the restaurant so we had to go out for dinner. We got wine at the bar and satin the atrium for about them minutes then we decided this atrium is really very boring to look at. It's all white with... Read more

Went to the University Plaza for a business trip. When my company said we were meeting in Bowling Green and then at a Holiday Inn, I was shocked! Normally we are at Marriott or Hilton in a much larger city. Driving up, the property did not look like what I pictured Holiday Inn to look like. I had not been to a HI since I was in college on spring break. High rise building around a golf course and nice green grounds. The lobby was very modern. The employees were excellent and friendly. My husband and I spent a relaxing weekend in Bowling Green and chose the Holiday Inn for the price. The receptacles are old and really need to be replaced. Had trouble getting my phone charger to stay plugged into the wall. Other than that, we have no complaints. It was very quiet for the 4th of July weekend even with the fireworks. The bed was comfy and the shower drained well. We will definitely chose this hotel again.

We booked 2 nights with the Beech bend package with a king bed and sofa bed. That included 4 park tickets and breakfast for myself and husband and kids eat free. The room was huge and clean. Beds were a little hard for my taste but I have a memory foam at home. My husband and daughter slept just fine on them and said it was comfortable for them. Check in was easy. The atrium, open to the top floor (7th) was stunning and has a small waterfall/fountain. Yes, the hotel is older, but recently renovated, so very tasteful. Our seventh floor room had lovely views, and with no one above us to stomp around. Since rooms surround an atrium, you can pick up noise from activity below. We kept the room fan running, so didn't have a problem. John, the maintenance worker kindly made sure our a/c would not shut down during the night, as husband is part ... Read more

We had a good three night stay here, quiet, nice common area and no security issues... but we did miss not having a microwave, a mini-frig and breakfast. This was a last minute reservation while traveling. The hotel looked nice and the staff was very nice. The room (610) had some really bad mold issues. I mean...really bad. We noticed a definite mildew smell upon entering the room but assumed that would clear up with the A/C being turned on. The A/C was deafeningly loud (more so than the normal loud hotel A/C's). I enjoyed my stay for the most part, but my only complaint cost them 2 stars. I was in town on business, and having Wi-Fi is an important part of my stay anywhere I go. It was impossible to get it to connect without going out into the hallway, and as soon as I returned to the room and sat down at the desk it disconnected again. It is imperative for them to fix this issue-I'm sure I wasn't the only one who had this problem.

Room large and roomy with extra seating and desk area. No complaints but spent little time in room on this business trip. Totally disappointed in food service in restaurant. Food quality less than poor and so slow. Item from "starter" menu took 40 minutes to arrive, others in party had completed their meal from buffet (although it was cold and not they ate little). Oh, and major concern!! I forgot my key and the front desk staff gave me a replacement without asking for an ID.

A very large hotel, with an enormous atrium. Very good service & very nice bedroom - although the shower curtain fixture was broken, and so the shower curtain drooped. This hotel is beautiful when you walk in, it's like the wow factor. But I need a refrigerator not a one cup Keurig, the breakfast buffet was good but a bit overpriced. The beds where super comfortable but my room smelled like wet dog. I don't know if they allow pets but that's the smell when you walked into the room.
