Great staff, friendly, helpful and attentive. I traveled through with a couple of dogs and while I thought the reservation covered my dogs, the guys at the front desk told me the reservation didn't show pets but they would make an accommodation - all worked out! Clean hotel with a good breakfast selection - will stay there again.

The room was nice, very clean. Air conditioner could've worked a little better. Walking distance from Roosters which was accommodating. Breakfast was great and hotel staff in the dining area was super. The only negative was the iron ruined my shirt. The previous person had scorched something and when I used it it left a black mark on my shirt. Not the hotel's fault.

The beds are great, rooms are well appointed, breakfast is hot and has a lot of choices. Coffee is better than most hotels. Cookies on week nights, flavored water in the lobby. We come here twice a year and they always have our room keys ready and check in is a breeze. This time, they were full up for 3 nights in a row that I knew of but that did not stop those at the front desk from helping folks find a hotel that had openings. Not a lot of places will do that. Jacob was most patient even when... Read more

I recently stayed at this location twice on my way to and from Indiana. On Sunday, May 15, the young gentleman manning the check-in desk at check-in time was very friendly and personable and even came to my room to set the clock radio, which was showing an incorrect time by over an hour. On Monday, the young, pretty brunette female with the ponytail running the breakfast room, whose husband was fulfilling a dream of working at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, was a real sweetheart and a terrific... We stayed 5/18/16. Hotel was clean clean clean. Close to many dining choices and a great breakfast in the am. The staff was welcoming and the breakfast ladies were quick to keep the area freshly supplied and clean. The beds were fresh and very comfortable. Will be back in the fall.

Stayed here while in town for a wedding. Front desk staff was friendly and room was in good condition. Only complaint and reason for a 3 star review is related to the 1am fire alarm we had. The alarm went off for almost 5 minutes then was shut off and no notification from hotel staff or answer at front desk as to if things were ok. I am sure the company has life safety protocols and I'm not sure they were followed here. Yes, there are probably many false alarms but simply figuring out the c... Read more

I'm sorry that it has taken me weeks to get to reviewing this wonderful property. Our family came in for a graduation, and we had some last minute changes that required two beds instead of one. Unfortunately for me, they were sold out (as well as the rest of town) due to it being such a busy weekend. Jacob and Brandon went above and beyond in trying to help me in my situation. They exhausted all efforts to make sure we were able to be accommodated, and for that I am very grateful. My compliments... Read more

The Holiday Inn Express at Bowling Green is your typical Holiday Inn. It looks relatively new and is convenient if you are visiting Mammoth Caves/Corvette museum. We requested for a late checkout and had no issues. There are a bunch of restaurants and stores nearby. Highly recommend it!

Stayed here for the first time on the way back from a trip up North. The motel is nice and clean, close to the interstate and close to all kinds of shopping and places to eat. Select this motel and you wont be disappointed. I will be staying here again on my next trip to the area.

We often stay in Holiday Inn Express but this one was especially enjoyable. What set it above the others? The staff members were especially friendly...remembering our names, remembering us the next morning, asking about our activities, in a good mood with us and each other. Also, the room felt especially clean. It wasn't the quietest hotel because there were several kids who were noisy in their rooms and in the hallway but it got quiet around 10:00. Tip: if you are wanting to use the poo... Read more

Stayed overnight on our trip through KY. Very clean, quiet, and good breakfast. Pool is small but very relaxing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had picked a restaurant for dinner and asked the front desk about our choice and she agreed! Even gave us a couple other places to stop for a drink. One of the best Holiday Inns we've stayed in. Thank you!

Reason rating of a four was two things that many guests have express since 2015 and it is clear the management has taken no steps to improve. First having a switch that works both the light and exhaust fan is foolish especially if you have children that get up in the middle of the night. They turn on the light to have the horribly loud exhaust fan come on. No reason for the exhaust to roar and vibrate the bathroom walls. The other is the CHEAP plastic shower faucet that is difficult to pull out ... Read more

We stayed one night at this Holiday Inn Express and I was terrified of the tub. I always try to carry Lysol wipes so I tried them on the tub. It wasn't soap scum but it was pitted all over and had trapped dirt. The sheets had some small stains but I think they were clean?? Not the best place to stay and I know we won't stay there again. We also had to wait for a clerk to get a room. She finally saw me when I started to look for her.

We typically love Holiday Inn Express, but this one wasn't very clean. Hair was in the bathtub and we weren't sure if it had been cleaned. Other than that, a typical Holiday Inn Express. Breakfast was typical as well.

The hotel was nice but the light in the bathroom with fan all on one switch was too noisy. The shower was really hard to figure out to make it work as well as the stopper in the tub. The breakfast attendant was very nice and efficient. The good was a nice selection.

This is a typical Holiday Inn Express but they have an unusually large, nicely decorated lobby and public areas. They seem to have really focused on this area and it makes it easy for groups to mingle as they had a nice visiting room separate from the breakfast area. Our room was fine - not large but certainly space enough to be comfortable. I liked that there as an upholstered chair and ottoman for lounging. The room was well furnished and super clean - housekeeping does a good job here! O... Read more

We rented a room for the holiday so that we could take advantage of the pool. Very nice place! Will stay here again. Also, within walking distance to Roosters sports themed restaurant and the liquor store. :)

The staff is friendly, but the whole hotel reeks of cigarette smoke. Only my friend's room didn't smell. My room and my son's room were bad. You had to walk through smokers at the front door too. Upon unpacking at home the next day, even clothes not worn were smoky smelling when removed from the suitcase. The breakfast staff saw us up early and started serving before they "opened"...a really nice gesture. Finally, why do hotels (all of them!) feel the need to shine bright lights into your window... This is the First time, I was told at a Holiday in if, I put a card on my door - not to Clean my room I would get 500 bonus rewards points! I had an issue with the coffee maker in the room- and I was lectured by three different people that it was not an issue with the coffee pot- it was me the user! Let's put it this way Customer Service here doesn't exist. They think they are doing you a service to let you stay there. Go next door- a lot of options in the area.

Our room was comfortable. The bed fine and the pillows were comfy. The towels were fine, not too thin but not very thick. The room was clean. The sink was in the main room with the shower and toilet in a separate room. This was fine for our trip but if you're with someone who wants to sleep longer than you, you may want to consider this. The breakfast was not up to par with other places we've stayed. The eggs and gravy were bad. They did offer bagels, toast, cinnamon rolls and fruit. The hotel i... Read more

We were traveling without reservations, we were nearing Bowling green and my wife did a web search and found the Holiday Inn Express, made a telephone call and we were in. The staff was courteous and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We will be staying here again in the future.

When you are travelling and driving long hours, it is most satisfying to find a place to stay that you know you can trust to be consistently top notch. We stayed Holiday Inn Express locations in Bowling Green, Kentucky (2x) and Texarkana, Arkansas (1) during our recent trip to Texas. All three stays were relaxing. The Arkansas location had a more expansive cable line up and the room was a little nicer, but both locations went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and hassle free. At one... Read more

Great stay. Staff, rooms and service were what you would expect from a quality hotel where the people are well trained and the ownership group takes pride. Before you even enter the hotel, you can see from the parking lot and landscaping that there was a lot of through and care taken.
