What was once a very nice hotel is no longer. Work being done ALL the time. Makes it rough to sleep when I was working 2nd and 3rd shift. Towels and toilet paper were both like sandpaper. Commode backed up onto bathroom floor. Bathtub not caulked. North exterior "security" door NOT SECURE. I am sure for the $130.00 + a night they currently charge for what used to be $89 a night in 2008, some improvements could have been made. The staff was extremely nice and helpful. Room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable and I love that they don't have the traditional bedding that most chains have (very clean and white). Several restaurants close by to eat at. Very convenient as it is right off the interstate.

I knew I had found the right hotel when I wheeled my Corvette into the parking and parked it next to four other Corvettes. Handicap spaces were very scarce, but I parked close to the door and our room was on the first floor and near everything, so no harm no foul. The room was clean, comfortable and attractive. My wife thought the towels were a little scratchy and I didn't like the paper cups (they get soggy from my cocktails), so no five here, but everything else was spot-on. The breakfast buff... I couldn't believe the food service staff member was 92 years old, but she moved gracefully in and around the Inn's patrons making certain all food was amply available, fresh, cold or hot. I've stayed at several HH Inns where the food service personnel check on the food service periodically or they are asked to refill selections. Clean and comfortable, nice breakfast. My only complaint is they ran out of pool towels and the front desk will not give you a towel at all! We had to go to the room soaking wet and then ask for bath towels!! They should have someone there keeping towels clean while the pool is open.

This close to I-75 property was clean, well-maintained, the service prompt and friendly, and provided a good Hampton breakfast. Ordinarily this would prompt a glowing review. I believe this was an old Hampton Inn that had not been updated or "freshened up" at all. The bathroom appeared less than sanitary and the bed linens looked as though they had been rested upon prior to my arrival. The "double" room was simply two double beds rather than queens and you could tell from the bounciness and uncomfortableness of the mattress that updates had not been made.
