My husband and I spent two nights at this property which is situated about 10 minutes away from downtown Bardstown and about 25 minutes away from the popular Jim Beam distillery that offers worthwhile tours. The location is well-suited for taking the Bourbon Trail. Plenty of free parking was available around the property. Our room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was also basic but certainly met all of our needs. Staff was friendly. The property worked well for us.

The Hampton chain is always a good place to stay. Room was clean spacious and had all the recent amenities. Free breakfast was very good. My friend was bummed ther wasn't a refer in the room though. With all that being said, The Hampton is the most exoensive hotel in Bardstown ($150.00). If you need all the latest amenities, have to have a good free breakfast and have the money to blow on a place to sleep, than I would recommend it. We were impressed with the quality of this hotel and the friendliness exhibited by every staff member. The room was clean and well-stocked, and the breakfast was well-kept and fresh. The staff working in the breakfast area were kind and friendly even when it was getting to the end of the breakfast time. It was worth the drive off of our main route. We will stay here again!

This Hampton was nice and staff was welcoming. Pricy room rate as the big NRA Show 35 miles away must have been affected by it. The bourbon and cigar group also kept us awake with bourbon enabling the rowdy evening behavior. Police came twice. Room door slammers- what is up with that? In the end, we had an enjoyable stay for 3 nights and will return next year to do more family research at the geanology room at the Bardstown library.

This is a good lodging option when traveling in the Greater Louisville Area. I found the bed clean and comfortable. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful. The Bardstown Hampton Inn was clean, quiet, and well located. The beds were comfortable, and a fridge, coffee pot and microwave are in the room. As a gold member, I stay in a lot of Hampton Inns. This one is a winner! I've stayed there twice now. The room is always impeccably clean, as is the rest of the hotel. The staff is extraordinarily friendly. The pool and exercise room are well-maintained. My only complaint is that the elevators are in a strange spot (very far from the lobby), but it seems that the hotel expanded on the building, leaving the elevators in the middle. Otherwise, this is a very nice hotel!

Close enough to downtown but not in the hustle and bustle. Staff was great. Easy to take off for Bourbon Trail stops as well as other local sites. Typical Hampton Inn - really can't go wrong with this brand. Only issue was the pool. Facility itself was fine, but the tons of kids all the time made it unusable for adults in the afternoons. There was 'adult supervision' as required, but these days that doesn't mean much. Not a shot at the hotel, just reality.

This is a pretty average medium-class hotel/motel. It was clean, adequate for our needs, and the hotel employees were very nice. The complimentary breakfast wasnâ??t great but was pretty much what youâ??d expect from this type and price of motel. Ask for a room that doesnâ??t have one adjoining. When we first arrived there appeared to be a number of very loud, giggly women in the adjoining room. When we returned from dinner three hours later, they were still there and every bit as noisy. Well this was not your four star hotel. Clean yes courteous yes. But the building and the doors to the room are in need of updating. The lock wasn't secure enough. Building is older breakfast fruit was so so.

Stayed one night and was pleased with the cleanliness of the room. The king bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly. With the phone app it was easy to check in, pick your room in advance and just pick up the room key when we arrived.

The location was convenient to the Old Kentucky Dinner Train where we were going for the evening. We liked the tables outside that you could sit and eat at or meet family and friends. We liked that you offered breakfast even though we were not able to take advantage of it with all that we ate on the dinner train we were not at all hungry when we woke up. We also liked your later check out time.

Hampton Inns have been our "go to" hotels for years now. Always clean, good breakfasts, friendly staff. We have never had problem and Bardstown was no exception. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly. Couldn't ask for more.

Family friendly atmosphere, free delicious hot breakfast, staff all very courteous and welcoming, nice clean rooms. I couldn't ask for anything more. For the price it is a great value, especially in a historic town with so much to see and do close by.

There are really only two places to stay in Bardstown that are worth your time. The first is Talbot Tavern, historic and fun, but for a more modern stay with all the amenities - stay at the Hampton Inn. Great breakfast, efficient staff, and clean rooms. The breakfast is a little different than the usual Hampton Inn breakfast, and it is all delicious. Quiet rooms, great night's sleep.

Staff were friendly, helpful, and went the extra mile to be of assistance. Our wedding party being able to eat breakfast together and plan the days scheduling and activities planning at the very start of each day from the get go was a major help.

This is a great option when staying in Bardstown. It's clean and the staff is friendly. We've noticed that in the mornings when the breakfast buffet is open, that there's an excessive amount of noise from guest room doors slamming. To notice such a thing says something. It's still a great place to stay while in Bardstown.

Stayed one night in touring Bourbon Country. Some confusion in checking in as to whether they had a room that I had reserved. Took to clerks to solve the problem. The Hampton was fantastic. The room was great and had good amenities. The breakfast was the best we have experienced. Wide variety of choices. All staff members were very hospitable.

We did the Kentucky Bourbon Trail and finished here. You can pick up your t shirt at the town hall/welcome centre here. The staff was very friendly , the hotel was clean and the breakfast was excellent. Great pizza place across the street as well. Nice little town.

This is an older property, but the only "super chain" in the area. The hallways are SUPER long, but the indoor pool was unexpected, but looked terrific. Our daughter was disappointed that we would have time (or our suits) to swim. The breakfast area was nice and there was a pretty fair selection of breakfast items.

This was a one night stay to go to an event downtown and visit family. It was positive in every way. Our stay at Hampton Inn included easy check in and out, comfortable and clean room, quiet even on the first floor, friendly and helpful staff, and easy to find location. I recommend it to anyone.
