Overall I found this to be a very nice hotel. With a convenient location to restaurants and basic stores. Will use it again if the opportunity arises. Breakfast quality is great. I just found the front desk staff inattentive, slow to appear at the desk. Rest of the staff to be friendly and helpful.

Stayed 3 nights. One day they forgot to clean my room. Night clerk threw some new towels, etc in the room. Didn't even remove the old towels piled on the floor for removal. Said something to the manager the next morning & she almost acted bothered by it. Not that I expected it, but with something as egregious as that one is usually given points or something to show apology or remorse...not here. Employees do a lot of sitting around eating and a whole lot of going outside to smoke. The managers ... Read more

The hotel was clean. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. We had pre-made southwest omelettes one morning. A nice assortment for add-ins on your waffles (m&m's and butterfinger.) Coffee was good-rooms were clean and comfortable. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pool. Very nice stay.

Stayed 2 nights, had no problem checking in or out. Had to move in around the maids that were still cleaning rooms after 3 in the afternoon. Our room was clean and comfortable. The mattresses super comfortable. Had no problem falling asleep. Loved the night light over the cabinets for those during the night trips to the bathroom. Microwave easy to use, didn't burn anything. The fridge on the other hand was so cold it froze our leftovers and a bag of Halo oranges. Even though the hotel was... Read more

The room looked very nice, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom was a really good size. The employees were all quite friendly and courteous. It was an enjoyable place to stay. The pool was not very large and there was no hot tub, but otherwise I have little to complain about. The breakfast selection isn't the best, but there's enough there to tide you over until lunch.

Had to make nan unexpected trip to Ashland. I have always had good experiences with Hilton/Hampton. Didn't think twice about booking. Everything was exactly as I expected they would be. Definitely would recommend staying. The hotel was a little further from the hospital than I had hoped but not bad at all (15-20 min). Worth the extra time. I would definitely recommend.

There was nothing special about this hotel, it's certainly not a destination, just your average off-the-highway stop. That said, it was clean and comfortable and a good place to stay the night. Avoid the breakfast buffet, which seemed re-heated and crusty with unsmiling attendants who were more interested in taking smoke breaks directly out front than acknowledging guests.

They falsely advertise a hot tub that is NOT on premises anywhere. Breakfast was good and room was clean. Too expensive compared to other hotels in area and false advertisement of hot tub. Pool was decent.

We had stayed in the Ashland area a few years ago. I had thought it was a Hampton Inn were we had stayed, I that is where I made our reservation. I was definitely disappointed when we arrived. The hotel was clean, the room appeared to be clean. the problem was (is), I don't think this particular Hampton has ever had an upgrade. The hallway carpets and room carpeting are well worn and old looking. I was concerned about what might be larking deep-down in the carpet. Knowing what the place is like ... Read more

Hampton is located on major route just off interstate making it convenient. Nearby eating choices and easy enough to access downtown Ashland if you wish. Off highway enough that noise is not a factor. Near a Walmart if shopping is needed. All around it si a good choice.

This hotel was very clean. We left our do not disturb tab on our door so our room didn't get cleaned, at fault of our own. They were more than happy to take the soiled and give us anything we needed. The hotel staff was very accommodating and we were very well please with the clean accommodations and excellent services.

This Hampton Inn is a 5 star out of 5. Staff is very friendly, rooms are exceptionally clean, and very quiet. It is situated about a mile from the interstate, so there is no traffic noise. I was unable to experience the pool due to their conversion to a salt water pool, but I knew that in advance. The indoor pool area looked very clean and well done. We were pleasantly surprised with this hotel. Although the price was a bit more than we usually pay the hotel made the extra cost worth it. The staff was polite and helpful, the room was clean and quiet even though it was in a busy hallway and the bed was comfortable. Since we have allergies we would've preferred pillows and comforters that were not down frilled but it's hard to argue with the comfort.

This inn is an older one and could probably use some refurbishment but other than seeming a bit scraped and worn, it is a comfortable very clean place to stay. Staff were most cordial and breakfast was a typical Hampton Inn offering. The room was quite clean though smaller than some of the newer ones.
