They have a shuttle but if you don't have much luggage you can just cut through the parking area and walk over. A little pricey for what you get and the area. I was arriving late at night so just wanted something close to airport. Rooms were clean and staff was friendly upon check-in.

The location is away from eateries or anything else not air related. Restaurant is pricey. Couldn't get a hot meal for less than $25.00. Rooms are noisy, not sound proof at all. Nice for stays amid air travel

Everything was great! From the staff to the room! From the manager to the bartender to the bell men. Everyone is so friendly and kind and they want to make sure you experience is the best it can be! As Hilton Honor members, you are able to get an awesome breakfast and also many snacks in the concierge lounge. I would never think of staying anywhere else in the area! Kuddos to the Double Tree for making frequent travelers feel at home!

The Legends restaurant is fabulous, try to make it to the Saturday night Sea Food Buffet... the crab legs are wonderful, and the deserts are inventive and yummy. The jacuzzi was unique in design offering a sense of privacy due to the fountain in the center. I always stay here when traveling because of the shuttle service to the airport and being able to leave my car and not worry about it while I'm gone. GREAT HOTEL and staff!

I was very upset with this experience. I tried to cancel the reservation on the Tuesday before the stay (on Saturday) and was told I could not cancel. I explained that my husband had been in very poor health (we almost lost him 3 times in the last 9 months) and that we were not going to be able to spend the night. I was told that did not matter that our reservation was "non-refundable under any circumstances". I explained that I had stayed in this facility before and that I would be staying ... Read more

Started using this hotel because it was across the parking lot from the airport and because it had meeting rooms. Then I got to know staff, appreciate the restaurant, and know that I could depend on the place for what I needed. Through the years have tried a few other places, but this is far and above my favorite.

We stayed for one night based on convenience to airport. We were happily surprised at our level of satisfaction. We both work long hours and it was immeasurable to relax and not feel rushed before our flight. Check in was a bit confusing as our card stated a different room, but was quickly remedied, and perhaps even upgraded. Our room was amazing. It was a honors suite style and had a dream bathroom. It was like a spa. Multiple shower heads and so much room. Dinner and breakfast were both enjoye... Read more

My wife and I stayed here twice at the beginning and the end of our visit to Wichita. The rooms are very comfortable and the service is even better. I used the shuttle to pickup then return our rental car at the airport as well as to catch our flight the next morning. The people working at this hotel couldn't be nicer. Everyone we met was eager to please and make our stay comfortable. The rooms were very clean and seemingly pretty new. The second night I had upgraded us to a larger room in the e... Read more

I recently stayed at the Double Tree as a pilot while flying a plane across the US and need a stop over for a night. The hotel is close to the airport and nice inside but the service was lousy from Check-in to the Bar/Restaurant. We needed to call the FBO and the doorman didn't even know how to get an outside line and had to yell over to the Front Desk for help. He wad friendly, just needed training. The girl who checked us in seemed unhappy to be working in a hotel and was basically one of the ... Read more

In general I was impressed with this hotel. Doubletrees are generally on the nicer side of the Hilton properties, when compared to the Hampton Inn and Hilton Garden Inn, and this is no exception. If you only need one room, ask for one that isn't a connecting room. I could hear my neighbor pretty clearly when he talked on the phone late at night, and let his alarm go off for ten minutes early in the morning. Doubletree kindly moved me to another room the next day.

I recently stayed at the Double Tree hotel for a business event. I've never seen a hotel this close to the airport. It's about a 1/2 mile away and could have walked to it if I wanted. They welcomed me with a warm cookie. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Conference rooms had everything needed for a successful event. I found the staff helpful but the Consierge service wasn't able to help me suggest places that I could see the area very well. I wanted to check out some shops or whateve... Read more

Excellent Hotel, very comfortable, good restaurant and pool, conference rooms, etc. Conference meals also good. You have to request a microwave and refrigerator for your room, as they are not automatically in the room

Unplanned stay due to DFW weather. So easy to walk across the parking lot. I've been there many times, always clean, friendly, helpful. My only regret, I gobbled an airport sandwich before the flight didn't go, so I couldn't eat dinner in the restaurant, which has been very good in the past.

Super convenient location and very nice rooms I highly recommend this hotel to anyone in this area. The Executive bar is a nice atmosphere and the drinks were made perfectly. There's a great restaurant very close by called Hangar one which I would also suggest that you try.

Third stay but first review. All 3 have been very pleasant. Room was great! Very clean. Bed scale heats a 4 out of 5. Shower head and water pressure get 5 of 5. Large screen tv's. Great location to airport and to access downtown. Nice lounge and restaurant. I will stay again. comments: no refer in room

We loved our stay here. The room was super clean and very modern with a walk-in glass shower and super large towels. The staff is very friendly and always offers a greeting. We had the breakfast buffet every morning and the hot choices were excellent and the fresh fruit was wonderful. Check-in was easy as was check-out. We were here for a 2 day meeting and hope they schedule here next time Wichita hosts.

It was very difficult getting the rooms that were requested at the time we made the reservations. We had to talk to two different staff members during check in to explain what was requested but not given at time of check in.

No problems, & had clean sheets on the bed when we arrived. Wasn't that lucky last year at the hotel on our D.L. regional & I had to change the sheets my self. Never had an experience like that before!! Was very happy with the room & 1st floor location that I asked for.

The hotel lost power due to an odd early summer thunderstorm. The hotel manager brought a candle to our table in the bar/restaurant. The restaurant manager brought us a cheese plate to tie us over. Drinks were great, service even better despite the circumstances.

Kids enjoyed the indoor pool. No airport noise. Clean, spacious rooms. Convenient enough to everywhere we needed to go with highways close by. Airport shuttle was also convenient. We didn't try restaurant, but had a bar, which would seem ideal for a quick meal and some drinks afterwards.

It's the Fourth of July and most of the notable restaurants are closed in Wichita. So I'm back at the Doubletree Hotel by the Wichita Airport enjoying a really good dinner at the Legends restaurant. The Blackened Salmon Cavatappi with a nice glass of Chardonnay is excellent. Frankly, it wouldn't have been my first or second choice, but, thanks to Pamela's (waitress) positive recommendation I tried it. It's really delicious. I'm impressed!

We stay at this hotel every time we are in Wichita. We love the proximity to the West side of town and the airport. We stay in the Jr. Suite which is quite spacious and comes with extra perks such as a fridge and microwave. Staff is always friendly and it is always clean. You cannot hear the airplanes from the hotel which is an added bonus.

Easy check in, free parking, pool opens at 6am. Treated to an upgrade room on executive floor. Quiet, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice executive lounge, hopping bar downstairs. Staff is attentive. Easy on and off freeway. Really solid Hilton Honors performance.

Decent, clean hotel (expected better). Still one of the better Hilton properties in Wichita. Wichita could use at least one luxury level Hilton property to compete with the downtown Hyatt. Beats the Hampton Inn's in town and the OLD Marriott (which was hot in the day, now its just hot due to poor AC system).
